We tried the naeng chae jokbal for the first time and it was great. It was super refreshing with a sweet and tangy sauce and has tons of various vegetables underneath -- a great dish for a hot day. The chive pancake was also better than expected. A super thin crispy outside and warm in the middle. Paired with the sauce was perfect. The bibimbap is also something that we usually get and has way more toppings than any other bibimbap at other places. Tried the following: - Cold Noodle combo with beef bulgogi ($23.99) We enjoyed the cold noodles and it's a good price for the combo! The bulgogi was a little bland, but decent size for the combo. - Leek pancake ($9.95) Best part of the meal! There was some squid and shrimp in the pancake too - Pork Belly Slice small ($19.95) Comes in a small broth of garlic and miso I believe. Su Jang and everyone here is so friendly. The food is very comforting and the portion is huge, especially if you get the jok bal. The jok bal is served with a salad underneath and i think there's some jellyfish in the salad served with a tangy sauce. Su Jang really made my experience great and she is the best. Let's start off by complimenting the service. Service was excellent! The entire staff were very kind, attentive, and made the dining experience excellent. However, the food in general, fell short for us. Our order arrived at the table quite fast but the flavors weren't truly for us. The portions were big and reasonably priced, though. I had the cold noodles, which were a little too sweet for my liking but was still enjoyable. They were nice enough to even give an extra small portion of the spicy cold noodles for us to try, which was indeed very spicy. Beef soup with shredded beef brisket was also very spicy but lacked flavor. The LA galbi (forgot to take picture) was plentiful but I also wish it had more flavor. I personally didn't try the beef rib soup but heard it was good, as it came in a piping hot stone bowl with two short ribs. Would I try it again? Hard pass for me. The price just wasn't worth what was served. The pork soup broth tasted funky. The beef short rib soup was good, but it was mostly liquid and barely had two chopstick full of clear noodles. The banchan was very basic both in terms of variety and taste. While it wasn't for me, I'd say Yoon Busan Gukbap is worth trying for yourself bc clearly others enjoy it. Yoon Busan Gukbap (윤가네 부산 국밥) is tucked around the right-side corner of H Mart, and I somehow never noticed there are four extra shops back there. That whole side gets way less traffic than the row near Paris Baguette, so it's easy to miss. They opened in April 2025 and only had few reviews so far. The listing photo on Google maps even shows the old Vietnamese restaurant sign. Definitely still a hidden gem. I stopped by around 4pm and parking was easy and there was only one table seated. Banchan came out right away (refillable). I ordered #1 돼지국밥 (pork soup with rice) for $17.95. The server recommended #2 with stomach, tongue, and ears (her favorite), but I kept it classic. For proper Busan style, you season it yourself with salted shrimp and chives, then add the rice into the soup. The portion was generous, honestly more pork than what I remember getting in Busan. The broth was clean, rich, and no strong pork smell. Super comforting and very authentic. I didn't get the pork soup but according to my sister, she says it was clean tasting and even on a very hot day she finished it all. She said it tasted better than the other place we always end up going to. I got the yukaejang and I thought it was flavorful. Big portion so ended up taking it home to finish for the next day. It still tasted good. Service was good as it was a hot Sunday and not many people were in there at the time. Lots of seating. My new go to spot for authentic Korean food! My friend found this place when we wanted to go out for a quick lunch break! We arrived around 1PM and got seated immediately. Located right in the Hmart plaza we expected it to be a bit busier but there was a lot of seating so even though there were 5 other parties eating lunch it felt very spacious! My friend order pork soup and I ordered a spicy cold noodle soup bulgogi combo. Unfortunately they made a mistake and gave me a regular cold noodle soup, but it was ok because there were spices on the side so that I could add to my liking. Other than this both came out relatively quickly and were delicious. The bulgogi was sizzling and aromatic! Even though it was "lighter" in color than what I've seen at other restaurants the flavor was the best I have ever had. All the sides were yummy! The only thing I wish is that the servers had checked on us more because we needed a refill on water and had a few questions. But there didn't seem to be many workers on the floor so it's ok. Chose this spot after learning that Yigah down street closed permanently. We were thoroughly impressed with the food and service! We knew this place was legit because the crowd on a Friday night was your halmeonis and harabeojis, and the only soju flavor they served was fresh.
