Let's start off by complimenting the service. Service was excellent! The entire staff were very kind, attentive, and made the dining experience excellent. However, the food in general, fell short for us. Our order arrived at the table quite fast but the flavors weren't truly for us. The portions were big and reasonably priced, though. I had the cold noodles, which were a little too sweet for my liking but was still enjoyable. They were nice enough to even give an extra small portion of the spicy cold noodles for us to try, which was indeed very spicy. Beef soup with shredded beef brisket was also very spicy but lacked flavor. The LA galbi (forgot to take picture) was plentiful but I also wish it had more flavor. I personally didn't try the beef rib soup but heard it was good, as it came in a piping hot stone bowl with two short ribs. Would I try it again? Probably not, as it's not suitable for us but I would assume it's a great place for authentic Korean food given what's offered on the menu.

It was my first time here after discovering it on yelp and it was soo good! There's a lot of seating, perfect to accommodate families and friends, and the service was great as well. I really enjoyed the food here, everything tasted clean and not too greasy. The galbi was perfectly seasoned, not chewy, the chive pancake was crispy, and the cold noodle was so refreshing. I would definitely comeback and recommend to all my friends!

The food was incredible. There's a touch of homemade love to it. I appreciated the attentiveness of the servers gamsahabneda. A beloved mentor friend had treated me here and I never ever want to forget this place because of the good company and the tang that just hit the spot! The place is like a warm hug. The variety of banchan is also breathtaking and well worthwhile. Thank you all so much and God bless you all+

I thought I knew every corner of the H Mart plaza in Garden Grove... turns out I was wrong. Yoon Busan Gukbap (윤가네 부산 국밥) is tucked around the right-side corner of H Mart, and I somehow never noticed there are four extra shops back there. That whole side gets way less traffic than the row near Paris Baguette, so it's easy to miss. They opened in April 2025 and only had few reviews so far. The listing photo on Google maps even shows the old Vietnamese restaurant sign. Definitely still a hidden gem. I stopped by around 4pm and parking was easy and there was only one table seated. Banchan came out right away (refillable). I ordered #1 돼지국밥 (pork soup with rice) for $17.95. The server recommended #2 with stomach, tongue, and ears (her favorite), but I kept it classic. For proper Busan style, you season it yourself with salted shrimp and chives, then add the rice into the soup. The portion was generous, honestly more pork than what I remember getting in Busan. The broth was clean, rich, and no strong pork smell. Super comforting and very authentic. They also have a breakfast special from 7:30-10am for $12.99, which is a great deal if you're nearby in the morning. Yoon Busan Gukbap (윤가네 부산 국밥) 12921 Magnolia St, Garden Grove, CA 92841

Great spot for some Korean food. Another good addition to Garden Grove! We tried their yukdaejang, broiled pork belly, cold noodles and marinated pork ribs. My favorites were definitely the yukdaejang and pork ribs. These two were super flavorful. Definitely a must try!

Came here for lunch on Saturday afternoon! There was no wait and the waitress' were very fast at seating us down and taking our orders. It was very clean and the bibimbap was really good as well. It was enough for me and my friend (but we also don't eat much).

Just simply great foods with great care in a warm, homely vibes. Saw this place awhile but wasn't able to give it a try til now. Man, I should have been here sooner....plenty of parking since it's locate in a shopping plaza. Inside is clean, bright, spacious and simple but yet well represented the Korean culture. The staff here are very warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. Stop by here and there to make sure you're enjoying the foods and to make sure to fill up the side condiments before we even ask. Foods are in great portion and well presented. Well seasoned and marinated, so tasty and perfectly cooked. The big part is the prices, so affordable for the portions and the tastes. It is definitely for us that it's cheaper than close by restaurants that we go to...now we just go here instead. Yum!

Early bird and craving a full Korean breakfast? Yoon Busan's got you covered with their $12.99 breakfast, featuring five different kinds of soups that come with rice and banchan Perfect to keep you full all day! Not an early bird like us? No worries! Their regular menu items are just as good. We especially loved their combo, which includes cold noodles and a protein . it came in a generous portion for just $24. They even gave us a kids meal while we were waiting with soup, seaweed, and rice, so we could all eat happily IG: socalhkfoodies

Amazing service, the portions were incredible. Look at this Jookbal! Enough to feed families. The biggest charm is how everything tasted like home. You can't replicate this taste or feeling. Please support this hole in the wall. I will be here to watch you enjoy this place!

This place is a hidden gem owned by a mom and pop. The food is authentic and cooked with a lot of thought and care. So delicious! I highly recommend.

Delicious traditional Korean breakfasts served in this local spot. Located in the GG Hmart plaza, Busan Gukbap has a clean interior with amazing breakfast specials. We ordered the pork soup and cartilage soups for $12.99 each. Their specials run from 7:30-10am. The pork soup tasted clean and flavorful. I loved the gojuchang spice that came with the soup. It added just enough spice to the broth. The dish also came with a generous portion of sliced pork. My husband enjoyed his cartilage soup as well. For the deal, we will definitely come back. I'm intrigued by the udon soup with rice and will try that next time!

We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. I took home enough leftovers for round two the next day. If you've only done Korean BBQ before, this is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying. Bring friends, come hungry, and don't be afraid to look a little confused your first time. Apparently that's part of the experience. Easy 5 stars for me. P. S. I think I had wished for some sauce to go with the noodles (but I understand its mostly with the soup on the side), good tightness of the meatballs :D... Both pots came with endless amounts of toppings and a choice of vermicelli or rice. I love individual hot pot because you can try a little bit of a lot of different things. Service was fast and efficient and the interior is spacious and clean. I'll definitely be back when I get my next hot pot craving!

Two strikes so I've got to write. :(…read more First incident: I had a good experience the first time I came here so I brought my husband and my sister back. Hubby ordered the salmon rice. The picture on the menu shows a piece of grilled salmon but what they brought out was totally different. Thank god, it was good anyway. Sister and I trying to order the same hot pot I ordered before and owner told us no, we cannot swap the pork belly out on the Thai hotpot. Told him I was able to do that before. He said "I'm not sure who let you do that but no, we do not allow that." I told him "you did, you let me swap the pork belly for the lean beef the previous time. I still have a picture of it on Yelp". Anyhow, he insisted No. We went ahead and ordered two beef hotpot's and the broth was salty. We had to pour some water in the hotpot to soften up the saltiness. Second incident: I came here on Thursday evening. Walked in that door at 9:10 pm and the server quickly told me: "No, we already had our last call!" Say what? the sign on the door says open til 10:00 pm and it is only 9:10 pm? If you don't want to serve late, then change your hours listed on the door and close those doors at 9:00 pm instead. Not good!!!
