Ordered takeout for Yo's. Very quick service. Very tasty teriyaki chicken. The wonton soup is absolutely amazing!

Yo's has to be the most delicious restaurant in Danville. The food always comes out hot and delicious. There's nothing bad on their menu. Everything you order you'll love I swear! They also go above and beyond for birthdays! I mean look at this complimentary dessert!! I've never had one this big and good. 10/10 They have a nice outdoor side patio and inside tables surrounded by fresh flowers!

I have been following Yo's for a while just because of their amazing floral arrangements. I have always heard the food matches the flowers. Finally got to go there. Evelyn greeted us almost immediately and it is obvious she is a gracious host with an excellent memory for her patrons. Our server was adorable and attentive. The flowers were amazing as always. The dim sum was yummy and generous size. The cocktails are the same. The sushi rolls came out promptly and were great. One of them was spicy (and marked so on the menu), Hartz on Fire. Also enjoyed the Jade Roll and the Rainbow Roll. Failed to take a picture of the chocolate dessert before we devoured it but you can see the aftermath. The vibe is great. Obviously popular amount the locals. Street parking might be a challenge at times but we were lucky. The street is adorable. Look forward to returning.

I have been here a few times, love the food and decor. The inside can get loud, but they have an atrium seating area on the side with beautiful plants and flowers, great place to dine if it's warm. The wines by the glass are awesome, if you like Chard, like my wife, they have Frank, Rom and Far Niente, all for $18. That is a steal for all 3, especially Far Niente. Most place charge $20 to $25 in Danville and rarely see Far Niente by the glass. The prices look reasonable on all the wines by the glass, so go get some! They also have great cocktails ($16, great price), my 2 favorites so far are Watermelon Seduction (4 Stars) and Pomtini (4 Stars, get on the rocks). Their bartenders mix the perfect balance, never too sweet or tart, just right! Food notes: Tang's Fried Rice (3 Stars, $30 with chicken, beef, shrimp, so 2 Stars) The base price for fried rice was $19, ok pricy but if you ask for combination fried rice (chicken, beef and shrimp), the price is $30, $11 increase. They charge for each protein, ridiculous! The rice was not that great, they didn't use a long grain rice, some sort of short grain, but not fat, still thin, like the rice was broken in half. All the ingredients were fresh, but nothing special. And the egg, no large chucks, just tiny bits mix in. Szechuan Green Beans with chicken (4 Stars, $20 with chicken). The green beans were fresh, not overcooked, still slightly crunchy. The sauce had some heat and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Roasted peanuts were added, nice touch! Rolling Lettuce Cups with Chicken (4.5 Stars $17) The lettuce cups were perfectly cut from the head lettuce, no ruff edges, easily separated and large. One of the best execution of lettuce cups I've seen! The chicken filling was also awesome! It was not serviced with plum sauce, kinda missed it, but instead some thin sauce, good, not sure exactly what, but definitely not plum. Pork Belly Bao (5 Stars) Really good, get some! Mongolian Beef (3 Stars) The beef was thin sliced and good quality, but the sauce was to sweet, heavy on hoisin, plenty of sliced onion and green onion. No heat. Kung Pao Chicken (3 Stars) I liked the shiitake mushrooms, but the rest was just okay. Shu Mai (4.5 Stars) Really good filling to the top, good size dumping (almost have to cut in half to eat) serviced with chili sauce. I mixed some table soy and chili sauce together, perfect dipping sauce. Yo's Rock Shrimp with Sriracha Mayo (3.5 Stars) Good quality shrimp, nice and lightly batter, deep fried but not over cooked. Until next time...

The outside eating area has a relaxed vibe. A bit pricey, but worth it. Treat yourself.

The Sushi here is fantastic. The Raider Roll was off the hook! The Rock 'n' Roll was delicious, forgot to take a pic of that one, it was beautiful and delicious as well. Our service was excellent.

Very good food (rice, sushi, Mongolian order etc) lovely place and good presentation, also the service is friendly with good references in food. The only thing we didn't like was how lauded was the bar area and the order of plates so fast and same time ( we didn't have space for eat comfortable).

The food is absolutely delicious! 10/10 i would recommend everyone to try here if you want fresh sushi and a cozy floral environment! Service was also top tear! The owner Evelyn truly cares for her staff and customers! Love this place!

One of my favorite spots and a hidden gem in Danville!! I love the variety. You got Chinese and Japanese fusion food options and everything that I've tried there is Soo good. They have a full bar with some deliciously dangerous drinks where you'll be gulping one down and continue to ask for more. Great service, they are so friendly and accommodating. I think the owner lady walks around to check in on the customers as well. Some favorites: Volcano tartare Lychee sangria Spicy garlic edamame Calamari Beef chow fun

Evelyn always has the most beautiful fresh floral arrangements

My boyfriend and I love this place. It's so cute and the staff is always amazing. We come specifically for the go bear roll but always try other items on the menu. Their cocktails are great and wine selection is decent. I always love the floral arrangements too.

The day of Christmas Eve I called to ask if they were talking walk in and the lady on the phone said we can try but we are full with reservations. What time are you thinking. I told her 5:30 for 4 off us. That was when they were opening, she said she can add me reservations and asked if I could come a little earlier would be great. We did and Yvonne (I think that's her name and sorry if it's not, believe she's owners) we arrived and she remembered my call. She was delightful and the restaurant looked amazing in the decorations. She sat us outside, we all had jackets. But that wasn't necessary. My goodness, this was a little garden treasure. We loved it. Music too Service was great for it being such a busy day The food-- delicious and well priced! Everyone ordered something different with the mindset we would share- it tasted all so good we barely shared. Can't wait to go back and thank you for making our Christmas Eve so wonderful

Came here for a business lunch in which the restaurant seems cute. Didn't get to see the inside but the outside off to the left has a cute patio seating area where it seems this business grows their own blackberries. It wasn't busy at all so the servers were pretty attentive to us. Refilled water without flagging them down, and got orders in pretty promptly. I ordered a beef chow mein and the person I came with ordered a bowl of their seaweed salad and one of their sushi rolls. First off, the price is expensive. But it's an upscale restaurant so that's to be expected. Their Chinese entree dishes are more normal priced. But their sushi is more expensive than normal Japanese restaurant. For example, most places with rainbow roll cost maybe 13-16. This place charges 20 for most of their rolls. So I ended up with the beef chow mein. Taste wise, well, it's fusion. It's not really authentic but it gets the job done. The noodles were cooked pretty well and while the overall taste was good, the beef was bland. Usually in Chinese restaurants, the beef is marinated before cooking it to give it some extra flavor. I tried the seaweed salad and a piece of my friend's roll and it was to be expected. The only complaint is the price really and then the really odd bit was while I was eating my noodles, I found a weird twisted metal shard. (Looks like a twisted staple? Or something similar to that). I'm assuming it was some part of packaging of something that fell in, but that surprised me since it was pretty sharp. Thankfully I found it before continuing to eat. Probably not a place to really come back...

We ordered the dinner combo where you can pick two items for $25.99--such a great deal. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the tempura was perfectly crispy and light. We also ordered walu nigiri and uni nigiri, both of which tasted incredibly fresh. On top of that, we tried the Bank Roll--a spicy tuna roll with shrimp tempura topped with a spicy sauce--and it was amazing. Great texture, great flavor, and just the right kick. Honestly, everything we ordered--from the soup and salad to the rolls and nigiri--was super fresh and really well prepared. You can tell they take pride in the food here. I wish they had clarified that beforehand, because I would've chosen a different dish. Flavor-wise, everything leaned much sweeter than expected. The galbi-jjim in particular was quite sweet, and even the kimchi had a noticeable sweetness that was more than I was used to at other Korean restaurants. Dipping sauce included. I asked for chili oil and they said they charge $3 for it. I have never heard of such thing. The lemongrass pork chop tasted good as well, nice sear to it and it was tender. No dipping sauce included, we had to ask for it. I wanted a Diet Coke but they said they don't serve sodas, only sparkling waters (I believe flavored ones). So we opted for just water instead. Our server was friendly and attentive. When the bill came I was surprised they automatically added a 20% tip for a party of 2. You don't normally see that for small parties, I also don't remember seeing it on the menu, maybe I overlooked it. When we got home we immediately inhaled it. Loved how they separated the filling from the udon and packed the broth separately. There were no longer long lines from when we last dined in years ago. The line went smoothly and the lady was quick and efficient to take our orders and even gathered Hubs' take out rice bowl for later. The gal at the pick up windown was also proficient as her job and even telling me my clams and ginger udon had just ran out so she gave me a number for my table. The tempura station was always one of my favorites. They just ran out of imitation crab but we snagged the last shrimp tempura. DD was half way through her udon when mine barely arrived. After the first sip of broth, it quickly reminded me of why we haven't been back in so long. Warm soup vs piping hot. That's why. Fresh cooked clams and butter ginger melted into the broth was a nice change from the usual. The taste was great and flavorful. Clams were blanched nicely with a few unopened shells that I didn't eat. There was also a few with some sand inside which was expected for a fast foodie style place where clam is ordered. 3.5/5 The other downside from the overall dish for both of us was the over sprinkling of green onions. Some were reserved, but the waitress let us know that it was actually open. The cuisine is mixed being mainly American, but with some Italian and Asian inspired items. The menu had a decent amount of everything from shareables to main dishes (pasta and meat) and rolls. It was more on the pricier side with the rolls ranging between $20-$28 and most of the main dishes being in the 30s. What we got: - Chicken Karaage: not your typical Japanese app, it was coated in a sesame oil dressing on a bed of greens and cucumber slices. pretty tasty and not dry - Rainbow Roll: a bit too much rice and wasn't very authentic, fish wasn't fresh - Wagyu Beef Burger: removing the mushrooms meant just meat bun and fried shallots ? meat had a great flavor but fries were salty and not $30 worth Our verdict was that the ambiance was nice and seemed more like people came for the drinks / atmosphere -- not for the food. I'd probably skip out on the food and just get the drinks or chicken karaage if I came back. Service was also just alright. Not much interaction from our waiter and it kind of just felt like we ordered and that was it?
