Yoshi's Adventure is a slow, family friendly ride inside Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe, and it earns its place in the land without trying to be something it is not. I rode on Yoshi's back through a colorful tour of the Nintendo world on a hunt for golden eggs, and the whole thing was bright, charming, and densely packed with characters and details that rewarded me for looking around rather than just sitting passively. The Yoshi's Story theme song woven into the ride was a nice touch that landed well for anyone who grew up with the games. This is not a thrill ride and the pace reflects that. It is gentle enough for young kids and accessible for anyone who needs a break from the more intense attractions in the park. That said, the egg hunt element and the visual density of the environment kept it engaging throughout rather than feeling like a nothing experience. The different colored Yoshis were a fun detail, and spotting them as I moved through added a small layer of interactivity to the ride. The queue was the main friction point. Parts of it ran through direct sun, which made the wait uncomfortable on a warm day, and while there were decorative elements along the way to hold my attention, the line management varied. Wait times tend to be shorter than the major headliners in the park, so timing it strategically is easier, but going in prepared for some sun exposure is worth keeping in mind. If I am already in Super Nintendo World, riding it at least once is a straightforward yes. April 2026 Yoshi's Adventure was such a fun adventure! I was blown away by the detail that Epic has done with the ride queues. They are interactive and add a lot to see. It's worth getting the PowerUp band as there are spots all throughout the queue to rack up coins and points. I wouldn't label this as a kiddie ride though it's not a coaster. lol it's a great way to get a view of all of the world while riding in a Yoshi! read more

Located at the ground floor across from the entrance of Nintendo World. One of the rides my two year old could go on! My baby could not go on this ride though, so we did child swap for this one. While we were in line there was a short delay. This ride I don't think you should wait in if the line is long. I believe when we got in the line for this one it was around 25 minutes. A great ride for all ages. Very cute and immersive with the Nintendo world! My 2 year old and 4 year old really loved this ride. I do wish it was a little longer of a ride though. read more

Yoshi's Adventure was... just not really for me. It's definitely a cute ride and I get what it's going for, but it's very much geared toward kids and felt a little boring overall. I do love Yoshi, so getting to ride in one was fun. We got a pink one which made me happy. The little mini Yoshis throughout the ride were also super adorable. That said, I couldn't imagine waiting in a long line for this. I would have been pretty disappointed. I can totally see how this would be great for kids though. Just not something I'd go out of my way to ride again. read more

The Baseline: For a theme park attraction, a quality experiences must be provided, the attraction must be fun and engaging, an immersive environment must be established, the queue line must be themed, and safety must be a top priority. Attraction: This is a continuous feed ride that will take you around a little portion of Nintendo Land and integrates a push button game where Yoshino captures specific colored eggs that light up on your Yoshi board. It is a great kids ride and if you hop on it in like 15 minutes it is worth it. If you have to wait more than that then you are wasting your time in the park. It has several Mario world characters through out the ride including Captain Toad near the end so if you are an enthusiast you will enjoy it. Queue: This has a fun, Mario-esque, Yoshi game queue with lots of little picture moments to get. Decently fast moving but will be busier in the morning when the little kids are up and about. Once it gets late then it is an easier walk on. read more

This is a cute ride and a must-do if you're a Nintendo fan. It is definitely not the most thrilling ride at the park but it's fun for all ages and highly recommended if you don't like scary or thrill rides. If you don't care about Nintendo or you only want a super thrilling ride, you can skip this. The basic concept is that you are following Yoshi and trying to find the eggs via buttons. The eggs aren't too hard to find but the buttons can be sometimes hard to press so make sure that you press them and they light up. If you find all three eggs, you'll get a golden egg at the end. I feel like it's pretty easy to find the eggs but just keep a lookout; after the first time you'll know where all the eggs are. When we originally waited for this ride it was going to be a 45-minute to one-hour wait. I don't know if I recommend waiting that long. I'd instead recommend you come back near closing time when the families have filtered out. I'd say 30 minutes max to wait for this ride but if you're lucky you can just walk right on near the end of the night and then you can ride it multiple times like I did. Don't forget there are power blocks in the queue where you can use your magic band and get a special bonus. Also for the one other person who might care, there's some Boo artwork on the walls when you first get into the ride and get out. I don't know why Boo is on the wall because he's not in the Yoshi lore, but as a Boo fan I will definitely take it! read more

Yoshi's Adventure is at Super Nintendo World in Universal Epic Universe Orlando. It's a family friendly experience that immerses you in the world of Nintendo and Yoshi! I'm a fan of the Super Mario video games and one of my favorite games on the N64 was Yoshi's Story. There is a lot of theme in this ride and the walk through queue from Yoshi's Story. When I walked in the standby queue, the wait was approximately 25 minutes. Unfortunately, the ride did break down and I ended up waiting another 30 minutes before I could try out this ride! The ride is a slow moving ride that takes you throughout the landscapes of Mushroom Kingdom. Along the way, you can search for glowing colored eggs. You can press one of the three buttons on the ride vehicle, one of each egg color, when you spot the matching egg. If you find all three, you get a special message at the end. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the eggs throughout the ride! Much of this ride is outdoors. There are also sections indoor and covered theme portions that weave character encounters and scenery. The ride is approximately 6 minutes long, one of the longer rides at Epic Universe. Because a large section is outdoors though and not covered, weather can affect ride operation. If you have a express pass, express pass access is available. This ride is one of the lower wait times at Epic Universe. If you go in the early morning or evening hours, the wait time is low. I really enjoyed just relaxing and looking at all of the views in Nintendo World. It was a great ride especially if you're a fan of the Yoshi video games. (Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island are some of my favorites! read more

If you're under the age of 7, Yoshi's Adventure might be fun. It does feel a bit like you're in the video game, with lots of cute familiar characters. But if the line is any longer than 15 min, I don't think you can justify it. It's slow and boring. read more

Yes, it is short. Yes, it stopped at least twice every time I rode it. I do. not. care. If you love Yoshi, love Nintendo, love the aesthetic, this will warm your heart for ages. I rode it three times, and it did stop for a minute or two each time, but I did not care. I took in all the ambiance and was inwardly squealing with joy. This ride has amazing views. The thoughtfulness as you turn each corner and feel like you are in another Nintendo or Yoshi level was so cool! I loved the Yoshi theme song playing and saw so many smiling faces in awe as they looked around. As long as it is under a 20 minute wait, I am always going on this Yoshi ride. read more

This is a kids dream in a ride- hop on Yoshi's back and take a casual ride through Nintendo world in search of the golden egg! Yoshi's Adventure is a very calm and enjoyable ride that gives you the perfect tour of this "world". There are 3 egg buttons on your car (or Yoshi) that you push as you find each egg, of 3 different colors. They are hidden through the ride so you have to pay attention for them. Then, once you've found all 3 it leads you to the prized golden egg! It's a lot of good fun. The ride time is decent and not too short, and there's so much to see all along. Even the queue itself is highly entertaining and full of color and mario life. Since it's a low stress ride you can get your carryons with and don't have to get a locker. Great for the kids, great if you need a break from high intensity rides, and just great for everyone. read more

Yoshi's Adventure is a super cute ride tucked inside Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe. You hop into colorful mobile carts and follow Yoshi through a scenic journey filled with playful visuals and interactive moments. One of the fun features is spotting colored Yoshi eggs and pressing the matching button in your cart--but unfortunately, 2 out of 3 buttons in mine weren't working. That was a bit disappointing, but the ride itself was still charming and great for all ages. After the ride, we stopped by Yoshi's Snack Island for a quick bite. It's a casual order-and-pickup window that moves quickly, even with the park crowds. I tried the Red Shell Calzone, which was meaty and flavorful, and the Mango Smoothie, which reminded me of a mango lassi--creamy, fruity, and refreshing. The theming is spot-on, and the food was better than expected for a theme park snack shack. Between the whimsical ride and tasty treats, Yoshi's corner of Super Nintendo World is a must-visit. Yoshi's Adventure is located in the brand new theme park, Epic Universe. It officially opens on May 22nd, but as pass holders we were lucky enough to be able to experience previews. This is in the Nintendo portal area of the park. This whole area of Nintendo World, is alot. It is sensory overload personally. It is very colorful, very loud and very stuffy. This world brings you directly into the world of Nintendo and Yoshi. Epic Universe has about 11 rides and 2 shows. There are not a ton of children rides but this one is for sure designed for children. It is a slow moving ride that moves I would say around 3-5 MPH. It moves slow! This was made for kids, but surprisingly it has a height requirement of 34 inches and there is a pretty tight lap bar. I personally have never seen a ride that moves this slow on a flat track and has individual lap bars as opposed to one lap bar. I also am very curious as to why there is a height requirement. This ride takes you on a ride with Yoshi as you are searching for the glowing eggs. Throughout the ride, you encounter the iconic Mushroom Kingdom landscapes, familiar characters and of course Yoshi. I actually had to google the point of the ride, I was very unsure what was happening. I was also confused what you were supposed to do. Each lap bar, had 3 eggs that were different colors and would light up. We kept pushing them but could not tell what was happening. After researching, you are suppose to spot hidden colored eggs along the ride and choose the corresponding colored egg. It was confusing. What I enjoyed is the views of the land. This is on a higher level so you can get amazing views of the Nintendo world. It was also very colorful and very cute. My personal thought is this is for kids, they should make the vehicle that way, and people should be allowed to hold their babies. Everyone needs their own seat with their own lap bar, which again was strange for this type of ride. I will say for adults, especially myself with longer legs, it was a tight fit. There is not a ton of extra room on the floor as well if you have a bag. I also hated that you had to climb so many stairs. The entire portal has a million stairs and then you have even more stairs inside this attraction. The team members were also rushing us almost making us feel like we needed to run up the stairs. Then they quicky shoved us in the vehicle before we could even catch our breathe. Overall, this is a cute ride. I would never wait longer than 20 minutes at most for this ride. It is not super exciting, it is meant for children. I would say try it out once to see but again I am not running back here time after time. read more

But that is not the case, everyone needs their own seat with their own lap bar. For adults, I would say one and done unless there is a 5 minute wait. This is not a ride I am running to or even one I need to do every visit to Epic. My wife has long legs and her knees were smashed in the vehicle. The lap bar was tight as well, it was very uncomfortable. And since the lap bar was actually one of the thick lap bars, it forces you to squeeze your legs together, its hard to explain. We were not very comfortable. There is also no place to put your bag, so we had to kinda hold it. My last issue is the stairs. This portal has so many stairs and so does this ride. It was ridiculous. The team members were also rushing us almost making us feel like we needed to run up the stairs. Then they quicky shoved us in the vehicle before we could even catch our breathe. They do have an elevator. Overall, cute ride, designed for kids, but not all kids. I would not wait longer than 20 minutes. It is a little bit longer since it moves so slow. If you know what to do with the eggs, then I think it would be mor fun. I would say check it out if the line is not really long, but I am not running back here. read more
