It's a relaxing water attraction with no reason to get splashed or hills. I noticed during this visit it lasts awhile, which is great when the weather is rainy or hot - plus the line queue is primarily inside as well.

I've been on this ride I think three times in my life: twice as a kid circa 1990 at both Disney World here in Florida and Disneyland in California, and once as an adult recently again at Disney World. I think I enjoyed it more as an adult than I did as a kid. Either way, I do think this ride is worth going on as part of a Disney bucket list. At Magic Kingdom, I don't think the ride has changed much since its opening on October 1, 1971. The scale is impressive. At around 12-15 minutes in length, I think this is one of the longer rides at Disney World. The ride definitely feels like a creation of its time (1960s-1970s), and that part to me is interesting and cool because in 2026, we still get to experience what it was like when Disney World (1971) and Disneyland (1966) first opened. Trivia: At the Disney World version of this ride, about 100 countries or cultures are represented by nearly 300 audio-animatronic dolls. Shout-out to the Thai dolls. The song is sung in five main languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German, and French. Other languages, like Japanese, can be heard at the end. We had Lightning Lane passes around 2:13 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced a short wait (a few minutes). Fun fact: When I was a kid, I got lost outside the Disneyland version of this ride. My family lost me for well over an hour (maybe two or even three; I just remember hearing the clock outside ring and seeing the animated figurines parade out every 15 minutes over and over again). I stayed put at the gift shop outside and my cousins eventually found me and took me to my mom who was crying inside The Mad Hatter shop. She feared I had been kidnapped.

The turns are sharp, the drops are sudden, and the whole thing rattles like it's held together with chewing gum and prayers. History check: opened in 1980 at Magic Kingdom, designed by Imagineer Tony Baxter, it was Disney's first real "thrill" coaster that didn't need loops or corkscrews. WHAM! Thank you, Harry, for letting us experience the world of Hagrid. I get motion sickness, but thankfully not on most traditional roller coasters that just go forward. This one does launch backward at one point, though, and that's when my stomach briefly said easy. As for the storyline... I'm honestly not sure what Hagrid had us doing. I think we delivered his DoorDash order, encountered a few magical creatures, and then accidentally fell through the floor on the way home. Whatever the mission was, it was fast and fun. Even though I had no clue what our objective was. Just be prepared for that backward launch if you're prone to motion sickness!

The part indoors with the seven dwarfs is one of my favorite, because it's fun to watch them mining for diamonds and singing "Hi-ho, Hi-ho, it's off to work we go!" There are some twists and turns, and you get some pretty good speed on this coaster! It's not super high but it is above. It does move on a flat track, there are no drops, no jerky turns, it is just a smooth easy ride. I really love this ride in the summer, when you it's so hot, and you just want to relax. The first thing to note is this line is completely outside, it can get really hot as there is not a lot of shade. The line is usually not very long, but if it is showing longer than 30 minutes, I would skip it and go back later. The line fluctuates throughout the day. The ride itself takes you around Magic Kingdom from above the land. You ride around the entire land and even go through Space Mountain. The cars seat 4 per car and they usually just seat your party. There is 2 seats on each side of the car, so some people do have to ride backwards. As I mentioned you do ride through Space Mountain, where you might get to see one of the cars going up the lift. Before they blacked out the walls inside, you used to be able to see the ride the whole time, but it has been changed. This is a ride that my wife and I will always ride. There is not much information to say, there really is not any need for convincing. It is just a great ride and I recommend everyone going on it. This is one of the best in the summer, relax, put your feet up, enjoy the breeze and views! ACES!

It is a very leisurely attraction that takes you high in the sky around Tomorrowland. You get a nice bird's eye view of the entire land even heading inside Space Mountain. It is on a track and does not move to fast. There are 4 per vehicle and it is continuous so the line usually moves pretty fast. The line is completely outdoors and mostly unshaded, this is a rough line in the summer. I will say if the wait is over 30 minutes, skip it and come back later. It goes in flows but I would not wait over 25/30 minutes. This ride is just very relaxing, it is one we always have to do. It is so nice to sit, put your feet up (if your car is not full) and just be taken around Tomorrowland. There is a great breeze on nice Florida days. You are above the land so you can also get some great photos of the castle, Tomorrowland, Space Mountain and more. It also takes you through Space Mountain. You used to be able to see the ride the whole time, but it has been changed. You get to see a little bit but not nearly as much as before. This is one we always have to ride. There is not much to say about it, except, OG ride, super fun, super relaxing, great views and one you really need to ride. I definitely recommend checking it out!
