Most of my family had never been here but the staff was patient and helpful with the orders. I shared fried chicken with my wife, and ordered the meat combo fried rice. The picture I took didn't do the meal justice. It was very flavorful and the right amount. My kids loved the amount of options they had to choose from which is always a plus for me. We will definitely return some day.

We ordered three blue raspberry slushies, but the server brought only one slushy and two iced teas instead. When bringing the drinks, she spilled an iced tea on my brother, forcing him to go change. When we politely explained the mistake and asked if we could exchange the untouched iced teas for the slushies we originally ordered, the server was dismissive, insisted "that's what you told me," and refused to remove the incorrect drinks from the bill. In the end, my brother never even received his drink. While we tried to resolve the issue calmly, the lack of accountability and poor service really ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration. We shall never eat there again which is a shame since the food was good but the service ruins it.

Awesome! Couldn't have enjoyed our visit to Crockett's any more…read more We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. It was relatively busy, but our server was great! The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! We'll definitely be back to Crockett's! (We'll just have to find a reason to go to Puyallup.)

Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Before I came, I looked at the reviews and there seems to be a lot of different mixed messages. For one if you're a regular customer and come in often, the employees seem to treat you much better, and when it comes to food they seem to have the better pick of food from the kitchen. As I read through one review they frequently come, they said that they are definitely changes in the service and the quality of food just within the last year or two. Given more history, I did hear that after Covid the restaurant lost certain companies that they used to get their food from which could explain the downgrade in the quality. I only took one picture because in all honesty it really wasn't worth me taking others and I don't understand why a side salad literally a third of the plate was eight dollars. The cucumbers had gone bad and some of the lettuce had even been wilted. The salad definitely was not worth eight dollars. I have had side salads with fresh ingredients for the same price at a dive bar and this is supposed to be a very well-known kind of upscale barbecue place that's in a well-known community that supports their business. The server was also mediocre and I honestly don't believe it would've been better but we were with a well-known customer, the employees seem to be a little bit more friendly, but definitely did not go out of way to make sure my meals were good. The macaroni and cheese taste very bland. There was not a whole lot of seasoning to it. Some of my brisket was dry and some of it was cold so that makes me wonder how long it's been sitting. The brisket was also kind of a seasoned, but not very well. The Tri-tip also was dry which I don't recommend getting. I did enjoy the baked beans and potato salad, but be aware because some cups of beans have mainly onions and bell pepper with barely any beans and some of the cups have no onions and peppers with just all beans. I have had a lot of barbecue in this state being a native of Kansas City and relatives from Texas. I know what good food is especially barbecue! I guess for this area it's one of the better places to go. The only other location that's nearby is Jack's barbecue which is their specialty is beef ribs, but they put literally pepper in everything so there's no flavor at all except for spicy!!!! At least at this restaurant, I'm not drinking a gallon of water because everything is so spicy like at Jack's but that's for another review. Thank you again for your support and following my review's. Has always be safe out there and I'll see you at my next bite!

The owner was chatty and treated customers warmly. I was a little unsure of what to choose, because it all looked good, and the smoker was cranking out DELICIOUS SMELLS.... but he recommended the beef ribs. I picked the pasta salad and coleslaw for sides. The ribs were tender, but not falling apart mushy. Good mouthfeel. The smoke was perfect. NO LIquid Smoke yuckiness (IDK where some of these reviewers are used to eating to claim he's using that nasty stuff...) The saltiness was nice. Not AHA recommended sodium intake for cardiac health, but very tasty. The pasta salad was al dente shells with a flavorful blend of mustard, mayo, egg yolks, and seasoning. Quite good! The slaw was fine. I'd have preferred a bit of red onion to liven it up a bit more, but that's just my taste. The sauce was nicely balanced with the sweet, salty, savory, tangy. I hope they'll consider adding a spicy option! Servings were plenty for me to have lunch, and hubby and I to have a full dinner on one plate. Will absolutely go again!
