I was in need of a dress alteration for my best friend's wedding. It was only one month before the wedding and because I'm such a procrastinator I started to panic. Then, after asking around, my mom suggested I go here since this is where she goes to get her pants altered. And so I went ahead and decided to give them a try. When I got there, they had me try on my dress, and they marked where to cut it and what not. And less than a week later, my dress was ready. I did have to take it back a second time because the dress was still a little loose on the top but they finished that by the following week. (The person that does their alterations I believe picks up on Mondays and Wednesdays). I even had them mend the straps to another dress. They have a good turn around time and are nice. Their prices too are reasonable. I definitely will be returning here for future alterations or dry cleaning needs. read more

My dog recently puked on my silk comforter and I had to have it dry cleaned. I called and spoke to David and he was so friendly and he assured me that he would do everything that he could to get the stain out. I brought it in Saturday morning and David explained the process to me and said that he would have it ready by that afternoon and sure enough by 3:30 by blanket was ready. He truly cares about all his customers and makes sure everyone leaves very happy with their experience. There was a problem with one of my dresses that I took in. The lace slightly frayed from the wash, which was expected because of how the dress was made. He was extremely apologetic when he showed it to me, but was very quick with coming up with a solution to the problem. Qualities of a great business owner. One Thursday I had remember I was expected to go to a wedding on Saturday for one of my high school buddies. I work at a bank so I'm always going through my suits. I had one particular suit I had in mind to wear but remembered I had got some food on my coat and slacks. Because I worked right next to their cleaner I decided to give them a try and see if I could have my stuff cleaned in time. David assures me that if I drop it off Friday morning it'll be done by the time I got off work. Not only was the suit pressed and cleaned , he had stitched up the inner lining I forgot that was slightly messed up. He also put my cuff links and stays from my shirt in a separate little envelope. I had been driving around for three months after my wedding in DC, trying to find a cleaners that I could trust. The stress! But then I entered Young's after reading another bride's review and had the best conversation with David. He relieved my trepidation by explaining to me what they'd do and the options for storing. I was recently in a wedding and needed to get my dress hemmed. I don't know any places near me so I decided to look up a place. Stumbled upon Young's! When I got there, it was pretty empty. But the shop had only been open for 5 mins. I walked in and was greeted by a young gentleman. Told him what I needed done and brought his seamstress over to get my measurements. She was great and was really careful about everything. When done, I came out of the dressing room and it was packed! I felt bad for taking a bit long, but I love how this place also doesn't rush you. Last minute unexpected interview...went to my basement and found an old college suit that had some stains on it. needed to get this dry cleaned the same say so I would have it ready the next day. From the minute I stepped in, the young man at the counter greeted me promptly even with being busy with other customers. I appreciated that he gave me options on when I would like to receive my clothes back, rather than assuming like other places that I may or may not need it right away. What really put the cherry on top was when I came back to pick up my freshly cleaned clothes, he offered to bring it out to the car for me! Now that's real customer service!
