Jumbo classic burger /Beerbatter onion rings/Mushrooms

Once again another great experience. Burger tasted great, beer battered onion rings and mushroom are outstanding. So good!

Teriyaki Burger is the best I've ever had, teriyaki in every bite and best flavor. Their regular burgers and fries are good too and the workers are always nice and fast.

Try the cherry sundae. Mmmm

Young's has been around for a while. I remember eating here as a child. It's one of those burger shacks that doesn't have a drive in. You'll have to get out and walk up to place an order, or call in. What I like about Young's is they have variety. Desserts, like shakes and banana splits, to teriyaki chicken plates, to fish and chips and much more. I love their burgers! There are a lot of mom and pop joints that have the same ol' taste, but Young's burgers are different. I think it's the thousand island they use. It's a sweeter taste and I personally dig it. Also, yummy seasoned crinkle cut fries... need I say more? The location is a little sketch, but they keep up with cleanliness and the employees have great customer service. Worth the trip if you're ever on this side of town.

The portions here are large and the service was fast. The Freddy is basically a Pismo wrap but sandwich style. The tri tip was tender and the roll was soft and delicious. This time around, I decided to try out the fish sandwich and my daughter wanted the club sandwich. She absolutely loved her sandwich which is great because as I mentioned...super picky kid. Me on the other hand, not impressed at all with the fish sandwich. First impression was it did look super fresh. The lettuce looked crisp and fresh and the fish was poking out of the sandwich which means good portions. But the fish was a bit dark, suggesting either old or dirty grease or cooked too long? Either way it was bland. I ended up having to douse it with a mixture of tarter, malt vinegar, ketchup and Tabasco sauce. I feel as though since this is a fish restaurant that is from the coast, the fish should be their best dish. But this is twice now that it has failed to impress me.

Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the variety made it fun to share and try different combinations. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is a cute cafe vibe. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.

The food was good. The tri tip and chicken fried steak were full of flavor and seasoned well. The only negative we would say about the food is the tri tip was a little on the dry side, and the chicken fried steak was mostly batter. Both still tasted good, though. Just wished the tri tip was juicier and chicken fried steak was proportioned better with meat vs batter. Sides were really good (descriptions in the pics). Food was 4 stars. Atmosphere is very old school feel. They even had the Price Is Right from probably the 70's or 80's playing on the tv. Brought back funny memories. Overall, recommend. Very good local restaurant.

Okay! why does free lunch hit different every single time?!…read moreI attended a professional development training and they surprised us with these lunch boxes! Yay! Tell me why I was immediately in love. The moment I opened it, I was greeted with a thick, generously stacked turkey sandwich that looked like it meant business. We're talking layers on layers of tender, juicy turkey, piled high with that crisp, freshly shredded lettuce that gives the perfect crunch in every bite. Even writing about it makes my mouth water all over again! The bread? Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of pillowy to hold it all together without falling apart. As if the sandwich wasn't already the star of the show, the box came fully loaded with a chocolate chip cookie,, a bag of chips for that salty crunch moment, and a little sampler of macaroni salad that was slathered in Italian dressing. So tasty! Honestly? Mouthwatering from start to finish. Whoever put these boxes together understood the assignment! (Haha) This is definitely a must try when hungry!

Caesar's is hit and miss for me. Once in a great while it's one of the best sandwiches I've had and sometimes it's just okay. One thing I do know for sure is that I keep coming back because they have "that" clam chowder. My only complaint is that they are pricey and you can get a superior sandwich from other places. Parking is a little bit crazy during lunch time. Staff is always super nice here and the lines go pretty quick. I don't know if they have more than the 2 locations I know of. This location is not as fancy as the one on Brimhall, but their sandwiches are just as good.

It's crazy to say that these past few years I have become a fan. I literally used to live around the corner from this one and never came, but looking back I kind of regret passing this place up. I'm not a huge sandwich lover, so when I'm hungry or craving something, sandwich is not my first thought. Matter fact, sandwich is usually never my thought... but that's because sandwiches are not created equally. I can have a sandwich from somewhere else and they are definitely not Jersey Mike's. I can choose a hot sub or a cold sub and still feel equally happy with my choice. I love the app. Most restaurants/food places now have an app and ordering ahead is always a plus if you're on a time limit. There's never a wait time and your food is always done in time. Plus let's not forget the rewards, the rewards are the best thing about ordering. When you accumulate enough points you can get a free sandwich. I like to hold on to my points til I have enough for a giant so I can share it w my husband. If you haven't been to Jersey Mike's then you're definitely missing out. Whether you dine in or not you're gonna love the sandwiches. This particular location is always pretty clean, it stays consecutively busy so you know that the sandwiches have fresh veggies and freshly made meats.

Our visit was at the end of the day, so some of the meats were sold out. I was sad, but adjusted quickly and ordered a double meat plate with brisket and deep pit. The worker who greeted us and took my order was so knowledgeable about their menu and let me know what's up. The ambiance is lovely, the patio especially. On a nice day or evening it's just perfect. My meat plate was so bomb, you guys. The brisket was exactly what my soul needed. Their BBQ sauces are a dream come true. My deep pit was also so so good. I ate until I was on the brink of meat sweats and I have absolutely no regrets. I will be back here. Like, today. So good. Yelp never steers me wrong.

The tri-tip was great, not dry and went well with the bread. Wasn't personally a fan of the chicken. It was well cooked but too salty for my tastes. My fiancé didn't seem to mind it. All the sides were great. I really liked the batter they used on the fried green beans. Perfect level of crispy for me. Also loved the seasoning of the potato salad. The mac and cheese is like a better version of Hometown buffet's mac and cheese, I also loved it. Makes me want to try it with the hot links next time. We also tried the BBQ sauces. Each were very good and paired well with the food. But either the food is so good I don't think it needs sauce. Or, for me, their sauces are missing that addictive aspect. They were pretty middling for me. Hands down crowd favorite though, were the ribs. We watched as the fiancé picked up the rib and fall off the bone. THE RIBS ARE SO GOOD YOU CAN EAT THE BONE. I LOVE EATING BONES. They also aren't scared to leave the fat on. These alone were the hit of the day for me. I want to take my elderly mom here just for the ribs because they cook them the way we cook them. Overall. Pretty much my new favorite BBQ place now. It's pricy and out of the way for me, but I don't care. I've driven farther out for lesser quality food.
