DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I saw the car posted online and I went to check it out. We were…read moregreeted by a salesman name Scott. Very Friendly, however he either is a bold face liar or he has no clue what is going on at his place of business! The car had a few small dings but It was the kind of stuff you expect when buying a cheaper used car. We test drove the car and it seemed to drive good. While on the test drive my dad ask him. If the car had been serviced? Scott told him YES all of our cars are put through a strict inspection by a licensed mechanic before we put them on the lot. (Which is also stated on their webpage) So after the test drive we talked money and decided to go ahead and purchase the Vehicle. With in 6 hours of leaving the lot the check engine light comes on!!!! I took it to Goodyear and had them put it on the diagnostic machine and discovered it was the catalytic convertor. I decided then to take it to a mechanic I have used for years and have him check it out. He said it definitely needed a new catalytic convertor and that the only way it could have passed emissions was if they had reset the check engine light! We went back up there immediately and talked to Scott he said we would need to talk to his manager Mrs. Lane, stating he is sure they would be willing to help fix the situation since they are so big on making the customer happy. So we sat and waited on her to get there. She finally showed up and gives us some spill about how she was so sorry that had happened but unfortunately they had just got the car we bought in the day before and it had sold before they really had a chance to inspect it! So of course I said wait a minute YOUR Salesman said every car is inspected before it is put on the lot. I wouldn't have bought it if I had been told the TRUTH! She said well he was mistaken since we just got that car it hadn't been done yet. My response was then you shouldn't have been advertising it! She then said that she would talk to their General Manager and see if there as anything they could do to help me out. Claiming they like to make the customer happy. (Where have we heard this before!) After about 4 days of me calling over and over I finally get an response from Mrs. Lane saying she had talked to their GM and he wanted me to take it to their licensed mechanic and have him check it out. So I schedule to bring it in the next day. An hour before the appointment I get a call from Mrs. Lane saying well I talked Richard our Mechanic and he said the GM told him he wasn't allowed to look at the car and that it was sold as is. She then assured me that she was going to talk to him again and see what could be done. A few days later she calls back and told me to take it up there that the GM had agreed to let him look at it. So I drive up to the location to only be turned away again by a young man who told me that unfortunately Richard had a family emergency and had to leave but that he would be back first thing in the morning. (Ok things happened. I give them the benefit of the doubt) I saw up the next morning finally meet Richard. All he does it put it on his diagnostic machine and go yep it needs a new Catalytic Convertor. Let me go talk to my manager. So about 15 minutes later his manager comes over there and says well you need to get a Catalytic Convertor but it was sold as is so there is nothing we can do about it. Beside we were able to make it pass emissions so its your problem now. (Notice he said we were able to MAKE it pass) I called him out on it and he then says well I didn't mean it that way, but either way there is nothing we can do for you. So my response was "so in other words the Trust in your name should really be UNTRUSTWORTHY" At which point he just grinned and walked away. DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THEM THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS!!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A PROJECT DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

This place is a joke of a dealership. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I test drove several vehicles…read moreprior to coming to this low rate facility. All of them only asked to make a copy of my driver license and told me to return with any questions I may have. Pretty simple right.... Well that was not the case with this car sales pop up shop. Not only did they make a copy of my driver license, but the salesman Scott and his boss also requested that I show them proof that I was preapproved...which I had mentioned to Scott in a previous conversation. At that point I should have just walked away, but I decided to show them the letter from my bank. Not that I had to but to possibly teach them not to judge a book by its cover. I work for the railroad and have excellent credit and I didn't need there in home bootleg financing. So your probably wondering, did the salesman finally give me a key to test drive the A7 ...nope...Instead he decided to give me a break down of the price, the firm price that is and ask was I ready to do business today. Not with you, but once I find the A7 I'm looking for I will bring it to your parking lot and let you test drive it. Just need to make a copy of your driver license and your preapproval letter...

I recently decided to sell a car to Carmax and honestly, it was a lot easier than anticipated…read more I highly recommend doing an expedited process by submitting all of the paperwork online in advance. When I pulled up, I signed the paperwork. They did a final evaluation on the car and I was out with my check in hand within 15 minutes. They even ordered me a Lyft back home.

My first experience was excellent, and that's the reason I kept coming back. The service team at that time, especially Ms. Whitney, treated customers with professionalism, respect, and genuine care. Unfortunately, she is no longer there, and the experience with the current team has been the complete opposite. My vehicle was shipped from Alabama, and when I picked it up, it wasn't in the condition I expected. It was dirty and had multiple cosmetic issues, including scratches, paint chips, stains, sticky residue, and damage to the driver's seat. I reported everything within the 30-day period, expecting the issues to be corrected. Instead, what should have been a simple repair turned into months of frustration and four separate trips back to the dealership. Each visit seemed to uncover another problem. Deborah repeatedly forgot items that were supposed to be repaired, which resulted in me having to return again and again. My fourth trip was only necessary because things that should have been completed previously were overlooked. On another visit, after the repairs were completed, the exterior liftgate button suddenly stopped working. The inside liftgate button still works perfectly, so the issue clearly started after my vehicle was serviced. Even after bringing it to their attention, they refused to repair it. The repair to my driver's seat was also unacceptable. The original issue was minor, but after they attempted to fix it, the seat looked much worse. It had obvious discoloration that looked like it had been spray painted. I honestly would have preferred the original imperfection. The customer service made an already frustrating situation even worse. Anthony, the service manager, was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience instead of something that should be addressed. Lorraine answered the phone with an attitude on multiple occasions. Every interaction with her made me feel like I was bothering the staff simply by asking for an update on my own vehicle. One of the most frustrating days was my third visit. I sat in the waiting area for approximately seven hours with my children and received little to no communication about the status of my vehicle. I repeatedly had to ask for updates instead of anyone proactively keeping me informed. Over the course of these repeated visits, CarMax never once offered to provide or reimburse a Lyft or Uber, despite the significant inconvenience caused by multiple return trips for issues that should have been resolved the first time. My time clearly was not valued. I continued giving CarMax opportunities to make things right because of the positive experiences I had in the past. I wasn't looking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted the vehicle I purchased to be repaired correctly and to be treated with respect. Instead, I dealt with poor communication, incomplete repairs, repeated trips to the dealership, rude customer service, broken components that weren't broken before the repairs, and an overall lack of accountability. I finally accepted my vehicle back because I was mentally exhausted from dealing with the situation, not because every issue had been resolved. My exterior liftgate button is still broken, and I was left feeling like my concerns simply didn't matter. This experience has completely changed my opinion of CarMax. The company I confidently recommended to family and friends is no longer the same dealership experience I once knew. I sincerely hope management takes a hard look at what's happening in their service department because no loyal customer should have to go through what I experienced.
