Have used Your Plumber and sons for multiple issues over the years. They are have always been good about having a small window for arrival and coming during that time. Latest was an old toilet that needed to be replaced. Eric and his team had done work for my parents out in Aldie, and when I needed a shower cartridge replaced I was given their information. Spoke with Eric on the phone and not only was he personable, he really took the the time to understand the issue and get of one his guys out ASAP. I'm not going to state how many times they came out to my house but the plumber came on time to fix the issues. I felt that when he came out to give an estimate, he was very pushy and didn't want to take no for an answer which made me feel VERY uncomfortable. I felt that the first job charge was a decent price but as the other projects came along they begin to charge more and more. ***Important*** while servicing my house both the plumber and I believe the owner failed to wear protective face mask due to the COVID 19. We are all adults, I shouldn't have to tell them to wear one. Not only, did they not wear face mask, but they failed to take off their shoes before entering my house. All those homes, public places, etc. area they walked on (urine/poop). I mean the job got done but I felt it was a little over priced. It's okay I won't go to them ever again. Last night our dishwasher broke. Water was pouring out of it like crazy flooding our kitchen and seeping down to our neighbor. We turned the machine off and it was still gushing out. We could not get the water from pouring out and it just kept coming. We called Your plumber and sons and they stayed on the phone with us even though I was in a panic and my husband and kids were screaming trying to put towels downs and scoop the water up as fast as they could. He instructed me on how to turn off the water both under the sink and then when that didn't work he walked me through how to turn off the main valve. I was in a panic and crying and he calmed me down and helped me get the water off. Was super nice and just great all around. Without his help I know this could of been so much worse. I love honest businesses, and Your Plumber and Sons is one of them based on our experience. We were having issues with one of our bathrooms and called in the professionals. On the day of our appointment, the plumbing was working fine. (We used drain cleaner the night before the visit.) After spending about 25 minutes looking at our plumbing, our technician couldn't find any issues. We have called Eric for all our plumbing needs since 2000, and have had unusually good experiences almost every time. We live in Herndon now and he has made himself readily available to us even though he is in Centreville. We initially found him when we were comparing costs to replace our leaky outdoor faucets. Eric did it for less than 20% of what other plumbers quoted. He has been very quick/responsive during emergencies without charging extra. He also educates us about how to handle more simple issues that we call him in for, so we can handle them ourselves in the future. There are times we thought we needed a major costly repair, and he fixed the issue with a simple washer and a nominal fee. Wow! These guys are awesome. I called them this morning to replace a leaking drain pipe in my kitchen that was sending water into my first floor hallway. They estimated that they'd be here around noon and showed up shortly after. They were super courteous, knew exactly where the problem was located, and were conservative about how much of the wall they cut out to make the repair. When it came time to pay, I was very pleasantly surprised.
