    Supposed to be fried pickles

Ordered thru doordash tonight. Instead of fried pickles I got fried brussel sprouts, fries were ice cold, chicken was hot, but really not up to their standard.

My son and I are celiac the rest of the family is not. We all echoed this is the BEST FRIED CHICKEN we ALL have ever had!!!!! Dave's what? Raising who?? We are telling you gluten free or not run to Your Side Chicks.

Yelpers, ya'll are SLEEPING on this amazing dedicated gluten free food truck! I'm so happy this place exists! I've been gluten free for over a decade now, and let's face it... it's usually just easier to eat foods that are naturally gluten free, than to try and find a gf substitute. I've been craving fried chicken fierce, and chef Daniel did not disappoint! Holy hell, the chicken tenders were so flavorful and juicy! No dry chicken here, peeps! (Pun was not intended, but now I'm for sure leaving it ) My husband said this was some of the best fried chicken he has ever had... and he's not gf! Perfectly seasoned, crispy, crinkle fries with a side of tasty coleslaw rounded out our lunch. We split a 5-pc meal, and I have leftovers for dinner - score! I'm not sure what is in the secret sauce, but holy crap, that 'ish is amazing too! We also tried one of the hot sauces plus a black garlic ranch. Both were equally tasty, and I can't wait to try all the different sauces. Whether or not you are gluten free, Your Side Chicks is a MUST stop whenever you're in the area! Thank you chef Daniel! We can't wait to be back!

Drove across town because they were "open" just to be closed. Clear hours of business operation would be nice before wasting people's time and gas. 06/23/25

Yummmmm! We visited a few weeks ago and the food was absolutely amazing! I was able to meet the owner and he was very kind. He spent the time asking me about my day and was very genuine. Right away, you can tell that he is very passionate about his restaurant and what he serves. The chicken was perfectly cooked and so tender! The sauces were very tasty and fun. I will be going back very soon!

However the first bite made it clear that this was going to be a good experience. I got the Chatfield with the apple butter on the side and devoured it. My daughter also enjoyed my biscuit. Did they got the fried mac and cheese which was delicious. Then I can cheese was flavorful and stayed crispy throughout our meal. We also got the caramel bourbon roll which was incredibly sweet but worth it. So warm and gooey. The service was also a plus! Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere felt very warm and inviting. We're from out of town but I would 100% come back to experience this brunch again.

The biscuit was fluffy with just the right amount of crumble, and the gravy was rich and savory without feeling too heavy. Once you break the egg and let the yolk mix into everything, it really brings the whole dish together. My date ordered the chicken fried steak plate and was very happy with it. The steak was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the portion size was generous. It is an order at the counter and then find a seat setup, which keeps things casual and efficient. The staff was friendly and welcoming, even though it seems like it can get really busy during peak times. The ambiance feels laid back and comfortable, classic Portland brunch vibes. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. I gave it 4 stars and would definitely go back.

The rice cakes were extremely delicious and soft & s chewy they were a 7.5/10 the only thing I could have done differently was maybe add some ramen or other sides to the bowl because it gets to be too much at times. I wish the potato was 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage ( and I wish the sausage was a bit bigger) but overall sooo good! 8.5/10 The Koran street sandwich was another bomb meal. It came with egg, cabbage, ham & other great things that blended so perfectly it almost taste like a burger?? It was delicious (8.5/10) Last but not least the Bulgolgi rice balls we're out of this world amazing the rice itself was so delicious and the bulgolgi was absolutely delicious we should have ordered more!! 10/10 To drink we got a Grape milki & Thai tea wish we're both delicious . I highly recommend the Thai tea!! We will absolutely be back this place was amazing and the vibes inside were super chill the have some tvs to watch some games or news & lots of open seating. The staff were quite slow. We were asked if we had any questions, but before we could respond, our server walked away. The place was empty when we came, though we didn't get utensils and had to hunt down someone to request some after getting food. Upon clearing our dishes, the waiters mucus or spit had dropped from their face onto our table. He was sick, which I understand you can't help, but staying home is ok when you're sick. The portion sizes are quite small so definitely don't go hungry and I recommend eating first. Mainly go here for drinks. There are still good things - the highlight was the flavor of the food! Shoestring Fries: So crispy and nicely seasoned!! Honestly I could have ate just these all night. Brisket Skewer: Garlicky Smoky Well seasoned Tender Just wish there was more! Each skewer was maybe 2 inches :( Empanada: Nice seasoning with a generous amount of filling. Tender! Pickled onions were such a great add and complimented nicely. The shell was a bit too crispy? It was falling apart as your bit into it. Wish there was a bit more salsa verde. The drinks were good as well - creative, fun, and balanced.

I bought two cinnamon rolls there just a few days ago, one for my son, and one for me. I'm very disappointed to say on the quality of the two cinnamon rolls that I paid for didn't look that great, HERE'S WHY! when I got home, I opened the box and the cinnamon rolls were small, you can fit three more in the box. Hardly any icing on one of them, the taste on both tasted like a day old, old and stale. We did come later during the day so maybe that's why, here is a picture of the two cinnamon rolls down below "BEFORE EATING IT." The ambiance was cool, it's just the food I'm giving a two star rating. I'll give this place another chance, maybe next time, I'll try the chicken. Well, this is what I paid for. UPDATE: I FORGOT TO TAKE AN "AFTER PICTURE" TO SHOW SINCE THE STAFF MEMBER WITH THE LONG BEARD WITH GLASSES NAME "BRANDON" REPLIED BACK TO ME ON HERE VERY RUDELY AND HIS MAIN PROFILE PICTURE SHOWS HIM STICKING HIS MIDDLE FINGER UP, WAS THAT MEANT FOR ME!?! NO WONDER THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE ON HERE WITH A LOW STAR RATING NOT JUST BECAUSE OF THE FOOD, BUT "HOW RUDE" THE STAFF IS. MAYBE YOU SHOULD'T POST ALL THOSE SIGNS UP TO CUSTOMERS AROUND YOUR SHOP SUGAR COATING TO GO TRY YOUR DRY STYLE CINNAMON ROLLS!
