Not sure which was which but signature sauce, jalapeño ranch and spicy garlic
    Paige S.

Delicious gluten free food truck! Felt save eating there as a celiac which is rare with food trucks. Fried chicken tenders were delicious. French fries were good. Tried three sauces and they were all very similar. Got their signature sauce, spicy garlic and jalapeño ranch. Friendly staff. Very nice area to eat as well. Fast service. Will definitely be back again. Next time I was to try some fried pickles!

I searched it up, and came back later, so glad I did. I got the deluxe Ryoma ramen with shoyu broth and a hot green tea. The broth alone was incredibly delicious. While a few things stood out, the meal as a whole didn't quite hit the high marks I was hoping for. Here is how it broke down: The Starters (The Highlight): Karaage (Fried Chicken): This was easily the best part of the meal. The pieces were large, juicy, and had a great, ultra-crispy crunch on the outside. Takoyaki: Decent texture and well-presented on a long plate with plenty of bonito flakes, making it a solid appetizer to share. The Mains (A Bit Average): Spicy Ramen: The noodles had a good chew, but the broth lacked the deep, rich complexity you expect from a really stellar ramen. Even with the spicy paste mixed in, the flavor profile felt a bit flat. Chashu Don (Rice Bowl): While it was a generous portion packed with chopped chashu and minced meat, it ended up tasting a bit monotone after a few bites and could have used more balance or a punchier sauce. Overall, it's a fine spot if you want a quick, filling meal, but the flavors didn't quite wow me enough to make it a standout. Solid, but nothing mind-blowing.

I was fascinated by the idea of a Portland cream, kind of like a Boston cream but with maple on top. Then I saw the donut of the month... Banana pudding. I do love banana pudding. I had to get both. Portland cream was good, I enjoyed how the maple juxtaposed the traditional Boston cream style donut. If I had just had that donut, coupled with the friendly service, this place would probably be a four. However I tried there banana pudding donut and I was amazed. This is one of the best ones I've ever had. The banana cream filling was delicious, paired really well with the vanilla frosting on top. Vanilla wafer was just a bonus. The donuts were about three bucks each, which isn't bad for fancy donuts these days. Forget the other donut shops in town, give this place a try!

The server told me that they are most famous for the raspberry cheesecake (or raspberry cream?, I forgot the name). It was basically a jelly-filled donut with something like frosting on top. It was heavenly. It goes really well with black coffee. I tried the sesame donut hole for fun (because their name is Sesame Donuts), but it was mid. The Sid's Special was like a blueberry-filled donut, which didn't taste as good as the raspberry one. The Portland Cream was a cream-filled donut, similar to the Boston Cream. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. I didn't see any available bathrooms.

Staff was incredibly nice and provided suggestions for us as there are a number of choices to pick from and most of them sounded amazing so narrowing it down to just one was very hard. They make their own marshmallows and you can purchase some of the flavors to take home as well, a great souvenir if you know someone who is a big marshmallow fan. I went with the Buckeye, because peanut butter! And all of the S'mores are on gluten free graham crackers which honestly seemed to taste so much better than regular graham crackers that always have a stale taste about them. My husband had the Rollin' in the Dirt (think a dirt cake) and also gave it two thumbs up. They told us that they are looking to relocate just across the street from their current mini location so don't fret if you don't see them in this same spot!

Dearest gentle readers,…read more A most scandalous correction must be issued how careless of me. The establishment in question is none other than the divine Grassa, a name that now rolls off the tongue with the same richness as its most indulgent fare. And oh, what fare it is. Here, along the lively stretch of Portland, one may witness noodles brought to life before their very eyes fresh, authentic, and handled with a confidence that borders on audacity. These delicate strands are then enrobed in a mac and cheese so decadently composed, so brazenly elevated, that it dares to redefine comfort itself. And just when one believes it cannot be improved enter the pig belly. Crisp, tender, and unapologetically rich... a finishing touch that transforms the dish into something whispered about in only the most exclusive of circles. Yes, dear reader, this is the sort of indulgence that lingers long after the final bite... the kind that ruins lesser versions without remorse. And so, with that final truth properly set, I take my leave once more. The tales of this fair city draw to a close, but not without leaving behind a most delicious legacy. Until our next adventure ever eastward. Yours most faithfully,

The mac and cheese was recommended to us and was definitely not a lie. Sweet, slightly spicy(not really), creamy, and tangy. A perfect blend of the best flavor profiles with sauce hoarding pasta. It's a life regret to not order this dish. Everything else was also very solid. I really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of the burrata dish and the Brussel sprouts were a necessary addition of vegetables.

Bottom line, I was more than satisfied and recommend The Daily Feast 100%. I was in town for my father's funeral. Staying in a downtown hotel, I wanted comfort and variety instead of the same old "complimentary breakfast". I asked the desk clerk for suggestions, and he offered two options. I decided to try The Daily Feast first, and I never bothered with the other place. As I entered I was cheerfully greeted and directed to a spot at the counter. There is a winding counter and several booths. I could smell the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen. It felt cozy and welcoming. Coffee was delivered and the special was enthusiasticly explained. I opted to try the Chilaquiles. Amazing! Spicy sauce, fresh tortillas, hot perfectly cooked eggs, yummy. I had a different dish every morning and they could ALL easily be my favorite. I went here for breakfast every day of my stay. My last day I was dressed up for my father's funeral. My server (who's name has now escaped me a year later) asked about my change of attire. I told him where I was going after breakfast. He immediately held up his arms and offered a warm hug. It was a human moment that I won't forget. I am so happy that I found this special place.

We decided on outdoor patio seating since the weather was nice & it was generally quieter outside. We were people watching for a bit and noticed that our fellow restaurant goers were waiting for quite a bit, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. When our waiter eventually tended to us, he was incredibly friendly & apologetic, owning up to the delay being on him, but we were cool with it -poor guy was working a double shift. We started off with deep-fried okra, I ordered the fried chicken meal, & hubby ordered the burger. I got to pick the chicken pieces I wanted, so I went with 2 thighs, thinking they'd be smaller pieces, so I could maybe finish my meal. I opted for collard greens as well. The food came relatively quickly and was super-fresh. The fried okra bits were piping hot down to the last bite. They went well with the spicy aioli. We hung onto the aioli so hubby could dip his fries. My meal was so good. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The batter was just perfect and crisp. Mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Gravy was rich and well-seasoned. Collard greens were so tasty. The balance of textures was just perfection. I ended up having to pack up a piece of chicken because it was so much food, but I enjoyed every bite I was able to take of my meal. I appreciated their welcoming vibe & the beautiful pride balloon arch inside the restaurant. I appreciated the friendly service. I appreciated the thoughtfully and expertly made food. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The service was good, but it wasn't especially memorable or exceptional. Overall, I'd describe the experience as average. I wouldn't make a special trip across town or plan a vacation around eating here, but if you're already in the area, it's worth giving it a try.
