Food was actually so good! We got a little bit of everything and the food did not disappoint I am vegetarian and I was happy to see there are options for me. I'm sad that there's no tofu as yelp says. But that's okay the veggies were delicious! Our server was great she was super helpful. Love the space it is so big perfect for big groups!

Came here for a Friday evening of fun but had an appetite for Youyu. The service started out ok, the wait to be seated was immediately, the server took a minute to come but when she did I had two, they were nice. I ordered some dumplings, some fried rice w/shrimp and sausage, and Lo Mein chicken. The dumplings came out with the Lo Mein but the fried rice came out maybe 8 mins after. I was able to use my points with a small charge for this meal. The lighting and seating was nice. I would recommend eating here, they definitely have improved in some areas of service.

Great choice for dinner for the Hard Rock! Crazy spacious and gives you the vibes like you're about to win big. Did good research as they have the makings of a good upper scale dim sum spot, sauces and all. What surprised me however is that it's actually fusion. Ordered the chow fun, xiao long bao, spicy dumplings, and the duck on rice. Duck on rice 6/10 - Was good, great amount, good enough to even share and the price was reasonable. What my party couldn't get over was the rice. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch but the rice was definitely undercooked. Was too firm and it threw us all off. Chow fun 9/10 - Tastes just like how any other place would make it. You wouldn't tell the difference. Xiao long bao 8/10 - Do yourself a favor and use the black vinegar on that to add some more umph. Acidity rounds it all out. Spicy dumplings 8/10 - Not that spicy, sauce you'd want to scoop up and put on your rice. This is definitely where I'll be going whenever I feel like gambling. Would want to try the bbq pork fried rice next time.

Chef Jack is amazing. The love he has for his cuisine is evident in every bite. I am vegan and he prepared the most delicious crispy tofu and tofu and vegetable appetizer. And the entree of vegetable and tofu with fried rice was amazing. The portion sizes are generous. And the dining room is beautiful.

I was really trying to find some nice appetizing pictures for reference but I figured I might as well be the pioneer for just that! This new asian fusion cuisine spot in the new Hard Rock Casino is a bit of a hidden gem. The decor is very elegant. The table setting is a bit bland. I felt as if the menu was fusion because it had dim sum, which is Chinese and it had pho, which is Vietnamese. The waiter came to our table promptly to get our order because it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the spicy dumplings, pork soup, dumplings, Chinese, broccoli roasted duck bowl. I would say everything was exceptional except the pork soup dumplings. I felt as if the dumpling did not have enough soup or it was underdone because the top of the dumpling wrapper was not steamed all the way. Anywho everything did taste good and came out hot. Just more time on the soup dumplings.

Ordered bbq pork fried rice, it's okay, doesn't taste authentic but clean. I loved the chow fun I just wish there wasn't so much onion, I think there was more onion than noodles honestly... but the flavor was there.. spicy dumplings were good and the crispy fried shrimp roll was good.. I think the portions were generous, would be back. Also my friend enjoyed her meatball pho

This place is a grand slam in the Hard Rock Casino! It looks gorgeous and the atmosphere is relaxing. It totally gives "pricey," but it's actually really affordable. We were seated right away, and Karol, our host, was very friendly and helpful. My mom requested to have lunch here since it's full of fun, and the food was incredible. Quite literally, the flavors burst in my mouth! I ordered the Hong Kong-Style Beef Chow Fun, and it was loaded with caramelized onions, noodles, and so much beef; I was impressed with the generous amount protein. My mom ordered the Lo Mein with Shanghai noodles, bell peppers, onions, and bean sprouts. She chose beef instead of chicken or shrimp. My dad had the Shrimp Pad Thai. They both raved about how delicious their meals were, and I was offered a taste test -- but I was elbows deep in my own meal! This place is definitely a must try!

Located inside Hard Rock casino. The host was quick with seating us. However, it took a while before someone came to assist us. The waitress advised that everything was street foods style. Pretty much all the beverages were in a can. Only the iced teas were in a cup. We ordered Pho. I tried the broth and it was so salty. I never had pho with such salty broth. There was more than half a bowl left. We got a Hk style wontons noodle soup. The egg noodles were super stuck together. We had to return it for the pork spareribs rice bowl. The ribs were ok, but the rice was not fully cooked. It was so tough to chew. Smh I, myself order the roasted duck noodle soup. Surprisingly, this was edible. The soup was ok and the egg noodles were normal lol the only problem was the way they chopped the duck. I had like 3 pieces that were nicely cut. One of the pieces was huge. I had to use my hands to hold and eat it. Service was not bad. Just a bit slow. Definitely will not return.

Really nice restaurant!! I love the decor and just the interior design/layout overall. My family ordered the: Vietnamese Pho, Princess Chicken rice bowl, and the Hong Kong-style Beef Chow Fun. Everything tasted delicious. The pho broth was salty though. I only requested Round Eye meat for mine and to not have beef ball or tripe in my pho. Our server was very kind and patient in explaining how they typically get similar requests about omitting a meat but often times never really accommodate it because the restaurant and kitchen gets busy. But I guess because we went early like lunch time and since it's slow, they were able to allow my request of just round beef.

Youyu has been one of our go-to spots since Hard Rock opened. It's only about a 20-minute drive from Bakersfield, making it an easy date night spot when we don't want to go far. We've been here at least 5 times, and the food and service are always great. It's one of those places we constantly recommend to family and friends. The spicy dumplings are a must-order every time, and the soup dumplings are just as good (not pictured). We also got the steak lo mein and General Tso's chicken, both of which were really good. The wings are another favorite of ours, I just don't have any pictures this time. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the orange chicken. It wasn't bad, but compared to everything else on the menu, it was just okay. Overall, You Yo has been consistently good every time we've visited, which is why we keep coming back. If you're eating here, definitely get the spicy dumplings.

would not recommend this place. The orange chicken and soup dumplings were disgusting. The orange chicken was not edible it tasted exactly like orange juice. The soup dumplings were minty and tasted frozen. Fried rice was ok but lacking flavor and the green beans were under cooked and also lacking flavor. I will not be coming back here.

The ambience is fantastic and the portions are great. Food selection, pricing and service were also great. Appetizers were more on the expensive side compared to the portion but the main dishes were perfectly sized. Pork was a little chewy and lacked some flavor but overall pretty good.

When entering Hard Rock, I went straight to Youyu to make a reservation, given it was Mother's Day and it was extremely busy. Arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by two women (I didn't get their names). I inquired if Youyu took reservations, they stated they'll need to ask their manager. I watched the older female asked the manager, Federico, and I saw him shake his head. I truly understood, so I was perfectly fine with waiting and having our Mothers have some fun at the slots. The female came back and stated that I needed to go see a Casino Host to make a reservation, thinking a "no" was coming based on seeing the reaction of the Manager. I didn't know where the Casino Host was located, and they stated, "Where you get your players card." I replied, "Oh in the front? Where I got this? (as I showed them my red Unity Card that I got at the kiosk) They both nodded and replied "yes". I walked over, waited in line, and was helped by Carina. I told her I wanted to make reservations and stated what the people at Youyu told me. Another worker standing next to her, Lesley offered to ask the Manager, Henley. They 3 assured me that the only restaurant would be Deep Cut Steakhouse and they apologized for Youyu's people giving me the wrong information. They were so helpful! I thanked them for their help and went back to Youyu. Spoke to the two women again, telling them what Hensley, Lesley, and Carina told me. The women at Youyu then said I needed to try to see the other Casino Host, by the Hard Rock Cafe. I agreed and went. I spoke to Monica (I believe that's her name) and told her everything. She told me what the women at the Unity Card area told me. By now, it's probably been about 45 minutes between the walking, waiting, and getting the information that I needed. I decided not to go back to Youyu and went to look for my family. We ended up waiting and finally getting into the restaurant. I told the women in the front what I went through (mind you it was their awful advice) and all they said was, "Oh!" Not what I wanted to hear! I wish the people at Youyu was honest from the beginning. If they didn't know, perhaps they're needing more training and more information to best do their job and provide great customer service. After all, they do work in hospitality! The food was great honestly, but leading up to that was absolutely ridiculous!

The Khao Soi had egg noodles and chicken in a curry base broth with coconut milk, fish sauce, pickled mustard greens, cilantro, green onions, and housemade chili oil. They also give you crispy egg noodles to put on top. I appreciated that they wrapped this separately in foil, so they didn't get soggy right away! The chicken pieces were quite large, but overall the broth was tasty! I enjoyed the Tom Yum Noodles! For these, they use flat wheat noodles with Thai chili paste, bunashimeji mushrooms, white button mushrooms, fish sauce, red jalapeño, galangal herb, makrut lime leaves, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. I chose chicken for my protein. The tom yum flavor really came through! They also give a pretty big portion! Since they are located in a food hall, you can sit at any of the tables. Empty Bowl will give you a pager, so you know when to return to the counter to pick up your food.

Then there's the robot. I want to be clear: the robot is trying its best. But a robot is not a coworker, it's a Roomba with delusions of grandeur, and pairing it with exactly one (1) visibly overwhelmed human does not equal "efficient staffing," it equals "understaffed with extra steps." I've seen this establishment's entire org chart and it's one guy and a trash can with wheels. The Vietnamese coffee and salted cold foam, though? Genuinely incredible. Immaculate. The only reason my card has ever been charged here more than once.
