I was really trying to find some nice appetizing pictures for reference but I figured I might as well be the pioneer for just that! This new asian fusion cuisine spot in the new Hard Rock Casino is a bit of a hidden gem. The decor is very elegant. The table setting is a bit bland. I felt as if the menu was fusion because it had dim sum, which is Chinese and it had pho, which is Vietnamese. The waiter came to our table promptly to get our order because it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the spicy dumplings, pork soup, dumplings, Chinese, broccoli roasted duck bowl. I would say everything was exceptional except the pork soup dumplings. I felt as if the dumpling did not have enough soup or it was underdone because the top of the dumpling wrapper was not steamed all the way. Anywho everything did taste good and came out hot. Just more time on the soup dumplings.

Had an incredible lunch at Youyu before our drive back home to LA.. Our server, Kim, was fantastic and kept our drinks full. We ordered the chow fun, chicken Lo Mein, Orange chicken & Shanghai dumplings -- all four dishes were full of flavor and came out quickly. The restaurant is beautiful with a modern vibe. Highly recommend and definitely will be back.

When entering Hard Rock, I went straight to Youyu to make a reservation, given it was Mother's Day and it was extremely busy. Arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by two women (I didn't get their names). I inquired if Youyu took reservations, they stated they'll need to ask their manager. I watched the older female asked the manager, Federico, and I saw him shake his head. I truly understood, so I was perfectly fine with waiting and having our Mothers have some fun at the slots. The female came back and stated that I needed to go see a Casino Host to make a reservation, thinking a "no" was coming based on seeing the reaction of the Manager. I didn't know where the Casino Host was located, and they stated, "Where you get your players card." I replied, "Oh in the front? Where I got this? (as I showed them my red Unity Card that I got at the kiosk) They both nodded and replied "yes". I walked over, waited in line, and was helped by Carina. I told her I wanted to make reservations and stated what the people at Youyu told me. Another worker standing next to her, Lesley offered to ask the Manager, Henley. They 3 assured me that the only restaurant would be Deep Cut Steakhouse and they apologized for Youyu's people giving me the wrong information. They were so helpful! I thanked them for their help and went back to Youyu. Spoke to the two women again, telling them what Hensley, Lesley, and Carina told me. The women at Youyu then said I needed to try to see the other Casino Host, by the Hard Rock Cafe. I agreed and went. I spoke to Monica (I believe that's her name) and told her everything. She told me what the women at the Unity Card area told me. By now, it's probably been about 45 minutes between the walking, waiting, and getting the information that I needed. I decided not to go back to Youyu and went to look for my family. We ended up waiting and finally getting into the restaurant. I told the women in the front what I went through (mind you it was their awful advice) and all they said was, "Oh!" Not what I wanted to hear! I wish the people at Youyu was honest from the beginning. If they didn't know, perhaps they're needing more training and more information to best do their job and provide great customer service. After all, they do work in hospitality! The food was great honestly, but leading up to that was absolutely ridiculous!

Chef Jack is amazing. The love he has for his cuisine is evident in every bite. I am vegan and he prepared the most delicious crispy tofu and tofu and vegetable appetizer. And the entree of vegetable and tofu with fried rice was amazing. The portion sizes are generous. And the dining room is beautiful.

The ambience is fantastic and the portions are great. Food selection, pricing and service were also great. Appetizers were more on the expensive side compared to the portion but the main dishes were perfectly sized. Pork was a little chewy and lacked some flavor but overall pretty good.

This place is a grand slam in the Hard Rock Casino! It looks gorgeous and the atmosphere is relaxing. It totally gives "pricey," but it's actually really affordable. We were seated right away, and Karol, our host, was very friendly and helpful. My mom requested to have lunch here since it's full of fun, and the food was incredible. Quite literally, the flavors burst in my mouth! I ordered the Hong Kong-Style Beef Chow Fun, and it was loaded with caramelized onions, noodles, and so much beef; I was impressed with the generous amount protein. My mom ordered the Lo Mein with Shanghai noodles, bell peppers, onions, and bean sprouts. She chose beef instead of chicken or shrimp. My dad had the Shrimp Pad Thai. They both raved about how delicious their meals were, and I was offered a taste test -- but I was elbows deep in my own meal! This place is definitely a must try!

Really nice restaurant!! I love the decor and just the interior design/layout overall. My family ordered the: Vietnamese Pho, Princess Chicken rice bowl, and the Hong Kong-style Beef Chow Fun. Everything tasted delicious. The pho broth was salty though. I only requested Round Eye meat for mine and to not have beef ball or tripe in my pho. Our server was very kind and patient in explaining how they typically get similar requests about omitting a meat but often times never really accommodate it because the restaurant and kitchen gets busy. But I guess because we went early like lunch time and since it's slow, they were able to allow my request of just round beef.

Hong Kong wonton noodles soup- had to return it

Located inside Hard Rock casino. The host was quick with seating us. However, it took a while before someone came to assist us. The waitress advised that everything was street foods style. Pretty much all the beverages were in a can. Only the iced teas were in a cup. We ordered Pho. I tried the broth and it was so salty. I never had pho with such salty broth. There was more than half a bowl left. We got a Hk style wontons noodle soup. The egg noodles were super stuck together. We had to return it for the pork spareribs rice bowl. The ribs were ok, but the rice was not fully cooked. It was so tough to chew. Smh I, myself order the roasted duck noodle soup. Surprisingly, this was edible. The soup was ok and the egg noodles were normal lol the only problem was the way they chopped the duck. I had like 3 pieces that were nicely cut. One of the pieces was huge. I had to use my hands to hold and eat it. Service was not bad. Just a bit slow. Definitely will not return.

Shoutout to Carol G! Amazing service with some great recommendations. We didn't have to wait anytime to be seated inside, plenty of space. I highly highly recommend the fried rice.

We got stuck since the grapevine closed and decided to check out the new hard rock casino. Youth looked aesthetically pleasing so we gave it a try. YUM!!! The lo mein was so fresh and the veggies were amazing. Not too much oil. I would for sure go back again!!

I said when I return and get my food comp I would change my rating. Oh how they exceeded my expectations! After losing on the game floor, I came to grab my food before leaving. I explained to the hostesses at the front I have a food comp because they messed up my order last time I was here and they went n grabbed the manager. I told him who I was and he said Fresno right lol so he remembered! They sat us down to order and he handed us the menu. There was plenty of seating inside! Instead of just me getting my order that I got last time, he offered me two entrees, two appetizers and two drinks while waiting for the food. I was really surprised but happy! I love how they are making up for their mistake! This is great! And let me tell you yall, it was even better after I tasted the food!! Once we got the food, the girl that gave it to us was like anything else we can help you with? I'm like no this is good lol. Left smiling from ear to ear. Literally forgot about the fact I lost on the casino floor since this was a win! Left out the front and before making that mistake again, I checked the bag before actually leaving the premises. They got everything in there! Went to the car and took off. Couldn't wait to eat so ended to eating the appetizers on the road. Shrimp eggrolls was fireee!!! We already tried that from the last time when they messed up the order. The Szechuan spicy pork dumplings was good too but sauce was a little salty but dumplings alone were nice, juicy and plump! Washed it down with the coconut juice I got. Got home and tried our entrees. My bfs duck rice bowl was delicious. They gave him a good amount of duck pieces. It was moist and tasty! I ordered the curry Singapore noodles which came with shrimp & bbq pork. They gave me a good amount of shrimp!! Almost every bite I had shrimp in it. The curry taste wasn't very strong but it was still there. Wasn't over powering at all. I added some chili oil from home and it made it 10x better!! Next time I visit the hard rock, I will make a stop here and order my original order which was Princess chicken rice bowl. I still would like to try that. Thank you so much YOUYU and the night manager for making things right! I appreciate your service and the food!!

Finally got to try YouYu located inside of Hard Rock Tejon. I went early and I ordered the kung pao chicken and pork dumplings with a Thai tea. I was seated fast and the waitress was so friendly and tentative! The restaurant was very roomy with a view of the casino floor my next visit I will try the pho overall great food and service!

    BBQ pork over rice.
    Trish S.

A very roomy space in the Hard Rock Tejon casino . Seating was readily available on a Saturday night. Our server was helpful in letting us know how things work and that dishes come out whenever they're ready instead of appetizers, then entrees, etc. She also warned us that the soup dumplings take about 30 minutes to come to the table. Due to this style of service my husband was done with his noodle dish by the time my BBQ pork bowl was delivered, and the soup dumplings came out last. My husband liked his curry noodles, but didn't rave about them. My dish was a giant bowl of white rice with bbq pork and scallions on top. The pork was flavorful and tender, but there was way too much plain rice. No need for the huge bowl for such a minimal dish. The soup dumplings were not to my liking, with thick doughy dumplings and not enough soup filling, so I stuck to one and called it quits. Overall, not a bad place if you want to grab a quick bite and need somewhere to sit down, but not a destination spot .

The menu is a little confusing and our server was very happy to help us out. We had the cashew stir fry with shrimp, fried rice, and chow mein. Our food came out quickly. It was a good stir fry. The vegetables had just the right amount of crunch. We both enjoyed the fried rice and we really liked the way the cashew nut was seasoned. We sat on the patio and enjoyed watching the world go by.

Our server only remembered she had us in her area as we waved our two fingers to get her attention. It was a quiet night. I could see 4 other patrons in the general seating area. (Regardless- she received a Fab tip) Our food order was disappointing. Our appetizer, Crab Cakes, was greasy. TWO cakes. ?!? Our Entrees comprised of small, decimated over cooked and over sauced small servings in square bowls... ?!? 4 shrimps in our "Stir Fry". Seriously?! When a customer has multiple orders, and everyone wants to sample a little bit of this and a little bit of that... Do not expect this experience from this restaurant. Not gonna happen. I went to this restaurant when they were downtown. Good experience. I have no idea what's going on now once they've relocated to the Marketplace. Money best spent if you were to just go to the nearby Vons and pick up your own Thai or Chinese food & cook it at home. I wish we would have gone somewhere else.. 1.5 stars. We will not be a returning customer.
