On our first visit to Bainbridge Island, we dined at Yo Yo Poke for dinner. We sampled the Island Poke Tuna & Salmon, Special Poke, Warm Tuna Poke Bowl, and Caterpillar roll, all of which were incredibly tasty. Coming from San Francisco and having experienced numerous local poke spots in Hawaii, we were pleasantly impressed by the freshness and quality of the fish and vegetables in the poke and rolls. It closely resembled some of the top poke restaurants in San Francisco and Hawaii. we also thoroughly enjoyed the Cantaloupe smoothie, crafted with fresh cantaloupe and uniquely chewy boba. The restaurant had plenty of seating indoors and outdoors or you can stretch out and relax on the grassy area next to the restaurant. If you're craving poke and you're on Bainbridge Island, this is a pretty solid spot for it. I'd say the flavor was great, and it's nice that you get all the toppings included, like edamame and seaweed. I do wish the fish was cut into bigger cubes and that there was a little more of it for the price. Other than that, there's plenty of seating inside and outside, so it's a nice spot to enjoy your poke on a sunny summer day. read more

This was genuinely everything I've ever wanted in a poke bowl!! I built my own bowl with salmon, tuna, unagi sauce, edemame, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, and avocado. The fish was SO fresh it literally melted in your mouth. The sauce was super flavorful and each ingredient was truly perfection. Great price for the size and quality. The service was excellent with lovely indoor and outdoor seating but the drinks were too sweet and they were out of regular boba. I had to get crystal boba and it was from a packet and not boiled. It was not a good texture. I am not giving it 3 stars because someone ordered a poke bowl and it looked incredible. I was going to grab lunch elsewhere but saw Yoyo while at Winslow Green (corner of Madison and Winslow), so thought I'd check it out. I'm glad I did! I came in on the tail of a mini lunch rush. When I placed my order, I was told it'd take 10-15 mins to get my to-go order ready. It didn't. It was much faster! And the owners were so nice and friendly about it too! I ordered the Salmon bowl. Chock full of salmon, rice and other ingredients, all fresh, topped with their spicy sauce, and wasabi on the side. I asked for jalapeños, but I only got two thin slices. Next time I'll as for more. So tasty nonetheless! And filling! The place is not hard to find in the Winslow Green shopping center, right on the end of downtown. Plenty of places to sit both indoor and outdoor. It was so delicious and fresh tasting. The place was small with patio seating but the staff was very nice and friendly. Visited Bainbridge Island on a day trip and stopped by for a snack. Never had a poke burrito before, so decided to give it a try - it's just like a tiny poke bowl wrapped in a big tortilla, very small portion and I wasn't told salmon would be $1 more, so $15.40 wasn't worth the value. It is a touristy island so it's expected, but the tortilla was thick and the poke wasn't flavorful enough. It's a small place with a few seating, more of a grab and go or eat quickly place. Had lunch with four others. Excellent food -- lots of veggies in my bowl, just enough rice, and tuna. Everyone was happy with theirs, and we all tried different combos. This poke is always perfection! It's super fresh, not too fatty, and mildly flavored well. I have visited a handful of times and the server remembers my order and reminds me if I forget something! Walked in on a Friday evening and was immediately helped. It's important to note that this place seems to be fairly new and a local spot--definitely not a poke chain that is going to have unlimited stock of everything and pump out 4 bowls in 5 minutes, so adjust expectations accordingly. That said, the fish tasted fresh, there were about 10 topping choices, and the prices were reasonable.
