The have so many different options and while there are only 3 tables in the white shop, most people get donuts to go. I have friends who always get Yum Yums for parties. Everybody simply loves them. I used to live in Philadelphia and live off of beilers donuts. Now that I've moved home, I needed another donut shop. Yum Yum came to the rescue. These donuts taste fresh, the cream filling is light and well flavored...they're simply delicious. They aren't greasy like most donut places. My favorite donuts are the chocolate thunder and the peanut butter cream filled. I once was super needy, and asked for a donut to have extra cream inside, and they did it! I've never actually been here, but one of my coworkers, Saben, brings in donuts from Yum Yum almost once a week and it's my favorite part of the week! So far, I've tried Yum Yum's chocolate, red velvet, and hallelujah for today's first pumpkin donut of the season! I really wish there were locations closer to the city or out where I live (Bryn Mawr), but alas, I will just have to look forward to Yum Yum Fridays courtesy of Saben. Their donuts are so delicious! Went in and asked for a Key Lime Doughnut and a SMORE Doughnut and she thought I meant a Key Lime/SMORE combo doughnut, wouldn't that be weird and gross?? Anyway, love this place and its within close proximity to Q Mart where they abuse that old tortoise publicly and no one does anything about it so super convenient location. Sometimes I bring my breakfast sandwich to watch the tortoise inch ever closer to a miserable death and I can't help but laugh and laugh and laugh! Aaaahahaha! And then a man in carhartt overalls eating an ice cream cone approached me and asked why I was laughing and I said "It's a SMORE doughnut! A SMORE!!!!!!!" The manager at the Quakertown location is a disgusting human being! Me & my wife were there a few weeks ago. We usually go to the drive thru but the line was too long so we went inside. I avoid coming inside so I don't cross paths with the old lady in there. If you go to Yum Yum's, you know exactly who I'm referring to. Me & my wife overheard a conversation one of the girls was having with a customer. The young girl said, "She makes us split tips with her. I don't know why if she makes more money than us". How do you also take tips if you're a manager? You do realize these are children that you're taking money from. Who knows how long she's been getting away with this. I've tried calling, but no one answers the phone there. Every time I go there, that old lady is always involved in some kind of confrontation with a customer. Is it really all the other customers that is the problem or is it maybe just her? She makes enemies with customers and also the employees. Wow, what a way to live life. I saw a customer's post on Facebook (picture below). How many customers are going to be left if you purposely piss off every single person that comes in? How dare she yell at the poor employee. The employee thought he was helping with something nice and the manager has the nerve to yell at him? Are you joking? How can the owners allow this to go on? Someone needs to do something. Every time I see the Yum Yum white boxes in the office, the work week has improved 100%. They have the best of both donut loves; a light fluffy glazed donut / cruller with fresh sugary goodness as well as an extremely dense cake donut of many varieties (highly recommend the red velvet). Their white lightening and jelly/ cream / frosting filled donuts are good too but not my jam.
