This Yum Yum Donuts is great. Most of them are. We go there whenever we are near and either eat a few there or take a dozen home. They also have come great lunch sandwiches and their bagels are quite good as well. You will love the service here, everyone is very nice and there is usually not long of a wait. They are fast. Their donuts are always fresh as are their bagels and sandwiches. Parking can be a tad busy, but it is free and someone is going to leave soon. The place is always clean. You will love all of their donuts and you can get 14 for the price of a dozen. Whatever you get will make you happy. If you wait a day or so and they are not as fresh as when you bought them, just toss in the microwave for 10 seconds and they will be just as good as if you bought them there warm. A business's best asset is its employee who follows under the lead of the manager who is in charge and when the manager fails to guide their employee that manager fails and so does the business. However what I was met with was employee's who perpetuate system and bold in your face racism which was really weird to see because the employee at this particular location are Mexican decent with brown skin again weird LOL. when I was there the Mexican female employee kept saying Negro which is Spanish for black I did not buy anything black so I'm sure they were referring to my skin color although I'm a fair skin African American. I believe that the employee at this location believe that they own the business and can treat customers anyway they want. It was topped with sesame seeds for a crunchy texture but the inside was so spongy, soft and fluffy. It has a slight flavor of cheese but overall, expect a sweeter sponge cake type of taste. I like this because it wasn't too sweet like sugar coated donuts. It was the owners personal favorite and I'd love to come back just for that. It was however about $2-3 for a tiny loaf. I work at the Starbucks down the street and come here for breakfast I ordered online today and showed my receipt even told her my order and she was giving me such a hard time as if she didn't believe it was mine. I love that they have a selection of "mini" donuts. I like donuts but just a little taste... a large donut is too much. These little minis are adorable and I like my food to be cute. Of course the bright pink ones are clearly a color not found in nature, but still they're good. I find their donuts have a little bit of a "crunch" which is my favorite part. I do think that at times the coffee is too hot. I want to drink my coffee immediately - I need it right away! This place is literally three doors down from my office and I go there once a week. I used to love it. Now, I hate it. Don't get me wrong. The donuts are fresh. I got a large coke, a plain bagel with cream cheese (no lettuce, no tomato) and a coconut donut. Two days later I went in and took PAINS to explain what I wanted... this time, I got iced tea instead of diet coke and some weird pound cake thing... but I caught it before leaving. It only took me 10 minutes more to explain what was wrong with the $3 order. To a committee of three people, all who seemed to just stare at me while I waved my hands around and pointed aimlessly at what I got and what I wanted instead. I give up. Hell, I shouldn't be eating the carbs anyway. The Yum Yum donut people can hire whoever they want, and I'm all for employing minorities who may have language difficulties in positions where those language problems aren't an issue. For me, it's all about the bagel sandwiches here called Xx-treme Melts. The combo with chips (or donut) and a drink is under $6 and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. Everyone who works here during the day is really friendly and courteous. They are also quick to get your order going! It's no surprise why they have so many regulars hanging out. And by regulars, it's not the tranny hookers that hang out at Donut Time up the street. There's occasionally a homeless man lying down out front, but he's harmless and never asks for money. The melts at this place are out of this world! Give them a try. I always get mine with chipotle mayo which gives it a kick without being too spicy. If you really like hot, they have jalapeño kettle chips. They also have fresh-squeezed juice for sale and pretty decent coffee. At lunch, I usually just go with a fountain drink and donut with my bagel. The donuts are what you'd expect, better than Dunkin, but not as good as Krispy Kreme or some mom and pop shops. However, they always taste fresh. The other positive is that there's plenty of parking and the shop is kept clean. Kudos for hand sanitizer right next to the register!
