I was there at 3:52 PM and I was helped by one of the staff members. It seems like she's a supervisor and she's very efficient very smart and very knowledgeable of her products which I appreciate and has extreme patience for her customers which I absolutely appreciate her for that she made my sub sandwiches perfect. I was very happy with the service and quality of food, I sat down there with my mother for a bit and left there like around 440 to 452 something like that the dining area was very clean. Very tidy not a lot of noise but yet you can have the gathering is if you truly want too. I like the fact that you have to be a customer to use the restroom which I appreciate that both girls in the sandwich. Both were absolutely sweet and awesome. I hope you guys give them recognition. This is the nicest Subway I've been in. It seemed to have a different menu and layout than other stores. (My meal came with chips AND a cookie? Just grab it and pay before they realize their mistake). The store was clean and attractive, with music and wifi. The weirdest thing was that they have a "lock" on the soda machine. I've come here when I have to use their parking lot (lot for Laundry and Lou's shopping center nearby is often full) and feel guilty (and want to avoid towing/ticket). So I usually just buy something quick and cheap...cookies or baked chips. I do like the raspberry cheesecake cookie. Either it's new or it's not carried in all Subway restaurants. I also appreciate how they have a sign explaining why some items are sales taxed and others aren't (it's whether or not they're hot or cold items). Clean and well lit. Why would i crave Subway? Why would I crave relatively bland tasting sandwiches and then when I get there try their felafel? As you can predict Subway was Subway. The felafel was not very zesty or interesting and everything was bland. The store was clean and the people inside seemed not to be junkies or A-holes so that's a plus. The service was quick but not impatient. I didn't enjoy eating here though. I couldn't get comfortable. Maybe if I wasn't alone. What am i writing this for? This Subway location rips. They roll fat sandwiches. They're usually pretty fast. The dudes that work here are pretty funny. And they used to have B+W headshots of the celebs that ate there (this location is close to the Paramount lot). But for some reason they yanked them. One of the headshots was of Leeza Gibbons. I was prrty impressed with that, and upgraded to a meal every time I saw it. Oh, also, your typical subway gets two-stars, so the three-star rating here should be taken as a good sign. I would probably only deal 4-Stars to a Subway that has a tropical fish tank... with a sunken pirate ship... and one of those treasure chests with spilled coins everywhere that releases bubbles. read more

I remember the first time I came in here. My buddy, Dave, had a 2-for-1 coupon he tore off a receipt from the neighboring Pavillions. We were in junior high school. Money saving shit like that was important. He got the seafood and crab. I got the meatball. The next week he had another coupon. We rejoiced. Financial freedom. We were on our way to making it, man. Smart with our money. Seafood and Crab. Meatball. This continued through high school, though we did augment our diet with Taco Bell's budget-friendly bean burritos and a packet of hot sauce per bite. They've done some redecorating since the mid-90s. And there's now a semi-permanent drunk guy splayed out and drooling on the sidewalk or the walkway outside. And no more seafood and crab on the menu, which is a shame, because as disgusting as it sounds, that was a delicious sandwich. And Dave moved to Texas, so it's really not the same. But every time I walk into this place and I can almost hear our pubescent high pitched voice cracking idiotic junior high school banter. Unfortunately, the workers here are really rude and make you feel like they're talking about you when you're ordering, by whispering and giggling and then staring at you. They're also unwelcoming. It had been one of the shittiest weeks ever and I ran into subway post mental breakdown and an employee here - I didn't get his name sadly - was so friendly and nice, he seriously made my day. I always get good service every time I come here. I'm come here in the morning and afternoon time and they treat me right.

I work nearby and barely have time to grab lunch, so subway is usually 3 out of 5 lunches for me. The crew here knows me and always welcomes me on a first name basis, with a big smile might I add! Not impressed one bit. I usually grab lunch at Jersey Mike's, but the holidays have left me nearly broke, so Subway it is. I don't expect much from Subway, but what happened here today has made me decide to only go to the one at Highland or the one on Gower from now on. My complete loss of faith in this location began when I ordered a foot-long spicy italian sandwich. The clerk asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato, I said "no lettuce". The first inkling of pending disaster was the onions, they were withered up and dry looking. I said nothing, like I said, I don't expect much from Subway. After stumbling through the rest of my order, I asked for "mayo". The clerk grabbed the yellow mustard (which I HATE - who eats yellow mustard anymore anyway?), and promptly doused the sandwich with it. I politely told her she has ruined the sandwich, so she attempted to "scrape" the mustard off with a knife. It was even more amusing than it sounds, pure "I Love Lucy". I felt sorry for the clerk, and although I knew I wouldn't eat it, I figured I might just pay for it and give it away. I said "please don't bother, just put some mayonnaise on it and we're all good". The clerk said "mayonnaise?" then grabbed a handful of lettuce and dumped it on the sandwich. At this time I wondered if this was some adolescent prank for a reality show, I simply walked out.
