This has always been my go-to for Chinese food in Jupiter since it is so close to my house. I've been going here for 20+ years. Faves: fried dumpling, egg roll (I almost won't eat an egg roll anywhere else), steamed chicken and veg with side of garlic sauce, Lo mein, fried rice, sesame tofu. The homemade duck sauce and Chinese mustard are the BEST of any Chinese takeout I've been to -- that duck sauce could almost be eaten all by itself. Used to go to this place all the time until covid hit. So today I order some soup. I pick it up & on the way home there is this chemical smell that i initially figured was the box or plastic covering. WRONG! The wonton soup had this heavy chemical smell/taste like moth balls! I spit it right out & instantly thought it had to be some accident in their kitchen of a cleaning spill or something. I went back w/the soup & tried to carefully explain I wasn't asking for a refund, didn't want any replacement but please check everything/ingredients/cooking utensils to make sure you find the issue please don't serve more of this- it's legit concerning. Omg. The poor young woman was trying to translate to what I assume was the manager-owner who was pissed beyond belief & apparently demanding I go to a hospital/get a note for proof! Proof of what? Even the young lady cringed when she has smelled the soup & realized something was wrong. I wasn't looking to create any drama- I tried again to explain to the younger woman this shouldn't be served- this could cause food poisoning for someone- please just check/start fresh ingredients before someone gets ill. I got nowhere but the older woman was clearly fed up with me & the young lady trying to translate. So I politely handed her the box of soup. Said do whatever you want I was only trying to stop someone from getting sick. I left. I'll not go there again. I wish I could rate this lower. Eater beware! Ordered dinner to go for wife and myself to be delivered by food delivery service. That part was great. Food we got was terrible. Couldn't eat any of the egg fu young or the sweet sour chicken. The chicken was nothing more than nuggets along with a small bowl of sweet sour sauce. Egg fu young just patties. No gravy with it and so dry you couldn't eat it. Called the restaurant to get some satisfaction but connected to someone who barely spoke english and all she could communicate to me was that was what I ordered and that is what I got. Ok. For a Chinese take out place, they seem to be doing well. They had no shortage of take out orders from what I could see and they were very fast with their service. Their new location is very clean and nice. I've eaten some of their different foods and one of them was bad and one of them was good. It's not spectacular food by any means, but it's sufficient if you want a quick decent cheap meal. Keep in mind that for what it is (fast Chinese food) I rate it a 3/5. read more

If I could give negative 5 stars.. I would!! DO NOT ORDER food from this place!!!!! They will use your credit card info and use other fraudulent businesses to steal money from you. I ordered food from them Thursday night and by 1am Friday morning I had over 15 fraudulent charges from US bits and strips and USA snack soda vending all from places outside of Miami (haven't been and have not made ANY vending charges any time recently). Luckily, my credit card company caught it and flagged the fraudulent charges but still.. not right at all. And their food was horrible. read more

It's a 2 star because it's a 3 star with a screwed up online ordering process. Run of the mill Chinese take out. Honestly the only thing separating this place from the three I passed to get here is the fried rice. It's not the yellowish stuff. My best advice is to not order online. They're literally receiving an email with your selection then typing in the order. If they don't check their email, you're not getting your food. I was told it's best to call when they're busy. If you have a live-cam feed into the Yum Yum, you'll be able to tell if they're busy. Otherwise forget the online ordering and call. read more

Maybe they were having an off day. I have wrote numerous 5 star reviews for this place snd always recommended to all my family snd friends to eat here. However today was terrible. Absolutely terrible. I called and mentioned it and they did apologize but from now on I will not recommend this place until I get better tasting food. Had shrimp with lobster sauce. It was so bland as in no flavor. It was watery and there was no little pork pieces. They also put in peas and carrots which in all the years going there they never have put in peas snd carrots. I do not like peas and carrots in my food. Ordered house special fried rice. When I placed the order I asked them to add bean sprouts. Usually they charge me an extra dollar to put in like 10 pieces of been sprouts. The girl that took my order says that they always put in bean sprouts but I know for a fact that they don't. As I was asking her to make sure they put in bean sprouts she hung up on me. Then I go to pick up my order the owner gave me my food. I asked if there was bean sprouts in the fried rice. She said yes. Went home opened the container, Well guess what. No bean sprouts. Mentioned that too and I did get a polite apology. At Keats they didn't charge me the extra dollar. The food was ok but not very flavorful. I got the fried dumplings and they were just ok. The dipping sauce was the consistency of soy sauce but had a very vinegary taste to it. We also had boneless spare ribs and pork chow mein. The fried rice is brown, not yellow. I'm not sure why some places have yellow rice for fried rice. We've picked up Yum Yum many times since my first review, but I feel obligated to give an update. Our usual order this weekend was to be a pleasant surprise to a few tough weeks here. It seems the surprise was on us. The Moo Shu pork was poorly prepared and tasteless, it was topped as they usually do with some scrambled egg, except this time in a clump rather than cut neatly into strips. Having no flavor aside, the Twice Cooked pork lacked the usual cabbage and other vegetables, while the protein was clumsily cut squares rather than the usual long strips. Disappointed. So, what's the deal? The chef died or quit without teaching his "disciples" the nuances of his recipes? The owner's grandchild is trying their hand at the wok? New ownership is doing it their way? Not sure, but do I give our favorite pickup joint another try and risk a dud? I'll give it some serious introspection, and then decide if it's worth another $30. to find out if Yum Yum remains a "favored vendor", or do they become just another Jupiter sub par Chinese joint.
