An unprofessional service on 8/31/2025 morning. I had to waited for 30 mins. to receive my order(#115). I were wondering if something messed up on order processes or what. Yesterday My wife and i went to Yummy Bakery for a BOGO promotion, when they redirected us to a different location. We drove there and ordered and weren't told that the BOGO didn't apply to che, only drinks. We felt bad and paid anyway. service was terrible, so today, i called and I asked speak to the Manager to complain and the Employee refuse to get them. they just told me there no one is available and were very rude, and hung up the phone twice. Yummy has been my new go to banh bao and other snacks since they have all kinds of snacks, drinks and food. They recently added banh mi to their menu and I've tried the crispy pork banh mi but it wasn't as good as it was bland. What they have best here is the palm sugar steamed rice cake with the coconut dipping sauce, it's omg good! I always called ahead to make sure they didn't run out for the day or try another yummy location. I also get their sweet dessert drinks too they're pretty good. The bao fillings have too much pork fat lately so I'm not getting them as much as I used to, not sure why but flavor is still on point. read more

A friend of mine bought me a box of their #1 Bao, Thap Cam Trung Ga. I came here to check it out myself because my husband likes them. This is my second time here. Their sweet crispy baguette, which I think they make with day old bread is fresh and has just the right sweetness. Not sure what the name of this is in Vietnamese, but you'll find it on the counter. Tried one of the black/gold Custard Bao's this trip. It's called Bao Hac Kim Sa. It would have been better warm, so not a fair judge of this cold. Parking is great. The wait could be long dependent on the time as there were only one staff working at the front. Store was VERY clean and new. We got their #1 and #2, the eggs were a bit dry but overall the meat and bao were freshly made and scrumptious. We did a Yelp check in and got a free black bao with egg custard. I was in desperate need to order something Christmas Day for a gathering and they were the only ones open. I needed something for about 30 people but they didn't have that many items. But I was able to place an order for same day pick up. I ordered some pate chaud and asked them if they can have it by 3pm. I was able to pick it up then and they ended up being a hit at the party. Their pate chaud hits different BTW. They flakey part melts in your mouth. Their meats inside are a little sweeter and softer. They really are good and are square shape instead of the typical round ones. I was really glad we got them from here. read more

Do you like yummy food? Me too! This place has really tasty banh bao dumplings of a variety of types from standard to vegetarian. I usually get the 9-pack of banh bao to share with the family (although I eat most of them). The banh bao are still good when reheated so don't worry about trying to finish them all in one sitting. I also enjoyed the banh pate chaud. It's warm and flaky. I don't know why it's rectangular shaped. I am used to seeing it in the round format at every other Vietnamese bakery. Like free food? Wow, I do too! Remember to check in for 1 free banh bao. There's plenty more to like about Yummy bakery. The cash register helps suggest new items to try. Also I was unaware of the minimum charge to use a card, but she was lenient on that requirement. The store looks nicer than some of the other bakeries around town. I ventured early this morning to this place. I work from home. So I decided to try this establishment. I ordered their to go #1 sandwich, #1 drink and 2 taro buns, 2 combination buns and 2 pork/duck egg buns. I ordered the sandwich with no jalapeno but obviously she didn't listen to me. The bread was fresh and inside was eeh.Their buns were okay. The best thing was the #1 house special drink - super strong and not too sweet. The place was small and clean. I felt somewhat rushed ordering since there were 2 other customers behind me. Also, I paid by my debit card and she informed me I'd get a discount if I pay by cash. There's a reason why I don't carry cash (safety) and if an establishment wants their clientele to pay only by cash state that on your website. I didn't feel safe in their parking lot. A simple, quick ish in and out with accuracy from the cashier. The banh mi heo quay was simple, but it was pretty good. There were minimal veggies, basically none of the pickled stuff. The heo quay was warm and crispy, as was the bread. This heo quay trend is new to me, but I'm definitely a fan! The suong sao banh lot was interesting being wrapped in their individual bags. This was sort of sweet, even for my sweet tooth. But, it was overall tasty. It reminded me of a crazed bubble tea gone nuts with the ingredients and double sugar. :) The banh bao was good. These were smaller in size, but my friend liked it more bc it's made fresh and doesn't have that thick dough atop with the traditional, regular sized ones. We chose the box option (of which they charged us the same rate as if ordering individually): 3 combination, 3 BBQ pork, and 3 sweet taro. read more

The storefront was easy to find (it faces Goldenwest Street) & there was plenty of parking. .. The store itself was very nicely designed & clean. .. The baos had generous filling & the bread part was not too thick. .. The sugarcane drink was extremely generous. Even though the menu says it's only 16oz, the cup they give it to you in is definitely bigger than that; see photo. .. Their prices were reasonable & seemed to include taxes. cOns.. .. Was driving to go to THH sandwich shop when I saw this place instead, it was early morning and a good amount of people in there which drew my curiosity. I was greeted with the smell of fresh breads and banh baos. I ordered 2 banh mi's the dac biet and the bbq pork. Both were absolutely delicious. This was hands down the best banh mi I've ever had. The bread is what makes it. The bread was crusty on the outside but not too hard, and perfectly soft and pillowy on the inside. Filled with a good amount of meat and veggies it was perfectly satisfying. I also ordered their pennyworth sugar cane drink which was only $5 for their 12oz. It was so refreshing and flavorful. I went to Yummy Golden and Westminster on 07/09/2025 and bought 8 tofu desserts. They were okay for the first two tofu desserts since I tried them that day. The rest- 6 of them turned bad and I have to throw away. I called the store today 07/14/2025 and they said sorry. We went here for the first time this morning. Ordered 2 of each of the banh bao, the savory ones. Also got 2 orders of the banh cam, 2 pate Chaud, 2 Viet iced coffee, & a banh mi cha lua with the veggies on the side. Everything was fresh and delicious! I took a bite of each thing we got. Lol So glad we can watch Sunday football with Vietnamese treats and snacks. My husband is a picky German/ Italian eater so when he said the cha Lua was the best he has had, those are big words . I have tried every banh mi place out there for him. We will be back. The one thing I would do differently is ask for my Viet coffee to be sweeter. My favorite banh bao + banh mi spot. I love the quail egg banh bao and always bring them to events. They're flavorful and delicious. Their pork belly banh mi is my absolute favorite. It's not greasy, not oily - it is light and crispy. I also recommend getting their Special House coffee, it is the perfect balance of bitter and sweet (if you like Viet coffee)! The interior is clean and tidy with minimal seating (just along the window). The service is quick, and the lady who works there is very nice. I came in this morning and bought 3 boxes of food for a total of $41.50. I handed the cashier my Chase credit card. He returned and stated if I had another credit card. I told him I had plenty of credit on my card and asked if he run it again. From my angle I can't tell him he did it or not. Anyways, he returned the card and said it didn't work. I told him I had another card in my car. Came back and completed the transaction and apologized for the inconvenience. I stepped to a corner and called my chase credit card company and asked them why my card did not work. They didn't show any attempt from yummy bakery. They told me I had plenty of credit and that I have always paid on time. I went to my next location and bought some items using the Chase card. It worked just fine. The only thing I could think of is the cashier was hoping I don't have a 2nd credit card then I would had to pay with cash. Anyways, beware of this practice and bring multiple credit cards just in case the cashier try this tactic on you. read more

I drove out of my way to get banh baos because this location stated on Yelp that they accept Debit/credit cards. I got there and there was only one cashier lady helping out this guy. She seems nice but can't speak English and the poor guy just wants to get his orders over with. Definitely a language barrier if you can't speak Vietnamese. I proceeded to order my banh baos finally after waiting a good 10 mins. Nowhere on the signs did the store stated the debit/credit cards machine is broken or cash only. The lady didn't even bother to let me know until I proceeded to pay. I told her that I didn't have cash on me and I needed to go to an ATM instead. I felt like I wasted my time and didn't even get my banh baos because of what happened. I proceed to the other Yummy location on Bolsa in Westminster....Again Cash only! TL;DR: Everything I had was really good, the parking is not too bad, but there is a little language barrier. What I Got: I came in knowing that I wanted to try so many different items, that I was not sure which ones I was going to narrow it down to. I went with the Crispy Pork Banh Mi, the Pork with salted duck egg Banh Bao, and the Sugarcane with Passionfruit drink. Everything was delicious and hit the spot! I would probably say that it was the best Banh Mi I have ever had, same for the Banh Bao. The filling to dough ratio on the Bao was perfect, though they are a little small. The sugarcane drink is super refreshing. Location: There is plenty of parking in front of the shop as well around the corner were THH and Popeyes are. Inside it was clean, with maybe 3-4 small tables. Notes: Ordering was a little harder than I anticipated, but the young girl was super nice and we got my order correct.
