This restaurant is in a medical plaza. It's a second visit to this place after my brother recommended the breakfast. Glad to support fellow Jesus followers and their business. I first bought the seafood fried rice last month for a friend at the hospital. I had a taste and it was delicious. I bought another today for myself and needed to wait in the car as parking ran out. I ordered and the staff even remembered I wanted chilli sauce. I said I will wait in the car as my parking ran out. He offered his parking stall in the shade temporarily while I wait a few minutes. They are always so kind and caring. I waited in the car and he came out from the shop with an iced water for me! I was so surprised and blessed. Was waiting for a doctors appointment when I passed by decided to drop in. This place has a very friendly atmosphere, the owner was very helpful with my first time there. He mentioned that their mango muffins just came out of the oven, sold me on that. Hands down the best muffin I have had in a long time. Would come back next time I'm BC. read more

The owner is very friendly, extremely helpful when it came to ordering knowing it was my first time there. Small, cozy establishment. I ordered the fried rice-took about 10-15min for it to arrive. As soon as I ordered, about 4 customers arrived after. When my food arrived, I was confused, searching for the bacon that was supposed to be in the rice. Still not sure if there was any even in there. The salmon pieces were quite small, as to be expected in the reflected price. Rice was extremely hot and fresh. Would I come back? Sure. Had the 3.50 breakfast this morning and I know exactly what they hype is about. Very simple sandwich shop setup with simple food and friendly service. You order, pay up front and someone will bring it to your table. Typically only one person behind the counter. They will clean up after you, no need to set your plate aside. All condiments provided and plentiful. Cheaper than mcdonalds and a whole lot more positive this is real food. This is probably for hospital workers and patients. Skip whatever you have going on in whatever bad food court and come over here to support this business. Did I mention 25% off the weekends? I could have had this breakfast for 2.63$! This place is pretty much on par with the value of an ikea breakfast without having to go to ikea and supporting a small business. Wow! What a wonderful place! We;ve lost Brighouse Cafe & Bob's Submarine -- this is one last bastion of down-home style diner food. You need to hear about it from someone, as it's off the street, behind the medical building. I hasd the special yesterday (grilled cheese(a triple decker) & mushroom soup(excellent flavour & big slices of mushrooms in it!) it's $6.50 or so on the menu(plus taxes & 20% tip, still under $10!) My guess is you're paying half the cost of an IHOP plate for same quantity of food and much higher quality. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. This place is a cute hidden gem terrific staff great homemade food. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Prices are very reasonable as well. I go there for lunch almost every day during work. The parking there is crazy at times no fault of his obviously i just walk there as it's close by my work. read more

I had a nice time chatting with the Husband, who is a very nice individual, who isn't in to make a fortune but to provide helpful service. I purchased the Ham and Cheese breakfast sandwiches for my kids which are very picky eater's, and to my surprise they totally gobbed them up. It's situated in primarily a business district without any other surrounding coffee shops and eateries, therefore, they have cornered the market on this one. Basic diner food cheap. Food is okay. Sounds like the food is great but unfortunately I didn't get to taste it! Despite the sign on door and website saying they open at 8am for business at 8:10 this morning (Tuesday) there wasn't a sole in sight here and no lights on! I had been looking forward to trying this place out and was disappointed and left with little time to find breakfast elsewhere before my meeting at 8:30 at the hotel next door.
