I recently moved into the area so I decided to check them out. I told the girl who helped me out that I didn't want them any thinner I just wanted a clean up. Unfortunately I don't remember the girl's name I just remember she was very thin, black hair and somewhat short in height. Well the entire time she kept talking to another employee and once she was done I looked in a mirror and I realized she made one of my eyebrows thinner than the other. She completely messed them up. I was in the area and looking for a good threading place to touch up my eyebrows. Ruba had raving reviews, so before going I checked if she was working the receptionist assured me she's working. Once I got there she said it a 1-2hr wait for Ruba. I said no problem who's the next best girl, she replied there all good, again I kept my cool and a girl name "Niki" took care of me. I explained to her to take the extra hair out and I thought she understand. When I asked her to go back to take out extra hair she said there's nothing to take out! When I insisted than she finally did. I asked "Niki" three times if my brows look okay? She said yeh there perfect! My eyebrows are THINED AND ONE IS SHORTER THAN THE OTHER! I had a bad experience at their Santa Ana location earlier today (already wrote a review on them). When I came to this location I first asked how long was their wait time and I was assisted by Sonia and was told there was no wait time. I would be seen right away. I was happy to hear that since I had just came very upset from their Santa Ana location and was stuck in traffic for almost an hour. I was lucky enough to even make it on time for what I needed to do. I will be coming to this location from now on. It might be the same company but the people and service isn't. So far as my first time in this place I had a good impression by these ladies. I will keep an update though. I came here for my lash extensions paid over 200 dollars then i came here several times for my Brazilian wax paid over more then 100 everytime i come here they switch up the price I get the same service done or less! I even make sure to ask ok how much would it be and they tell me the price so I'm like ok then EVERYTIME i go up to counter to pay they up it literally 20-30 more it's ridiculous! They say ooh it includes tip!? Wtf I'm sorry but that is not up to you it's up to the customers. Firts time here, and I had no idea what to spect, but thank God I met Sonia... great person, so friendly and very professional, she explained.. all the procedures I need it to get done, was with chocolate wax and oxy bleach for Brazilian... after all the explanations.. I was more secure and convince to do it because she answered all my questions, Sonia was very helpful, I did my appoint, and when I got there she took care of me right away, after been so nervous, she was in charge of making me so comfortable, and when I when in the place looks so clean and safe, after doing the chocolate wax and oxy bleach I was so amazed by the products, they work so great, best products, I really recommend this please to everyone. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in on Wednesday to get my lashes done, and the lady Sonia shows me which ones I would be getting done on my face. I agreed to the lashes, and once she starts she's talking to her coworker in her native language, which I find unprofessional. To top that off while she's putting on the lashes she suddenly tells me she's doing extra lashes on me which will cost me five dollars extra, in my head I'm thinking wtf, she already started might as well. To get to the point she goes on to ask me if I'm Indian I reply I'm no, and then she asks oh so your Mexican I was shocked by the way she said it. And she kept asking where I worked and lived which was fine because she was trying to start a conversation and so I told her I live in corona and I told her the drive was horrible but I only came for the lashes since I had a day off. Fast forward she finishes tells me my total which is 60 dollars and I'm just there like what the hell I paid for it and went home not a second till I got to the car my eye was getting itchy, I look at it and it's red and I'm thinking maybe it's because she just finished. Heck no I get home and when I look in the mirror my eyes are swollen and itchy and I called them back to see if they could do anything. The lady's over the phone where soooo unprofessional passing the phone around acting dumb. And I had to call back maybe three times just to try to explain what happened to my eyes but the moment I get hanged up on I was furious. I told my mom and we made the trip to Anaheim again to talk to the manager, and to get my full refund. When we get to the place the lady Sonia is there and she's talking about how it's my fault and that if I didn't like the service I shouldn't have left the salon the other day. Boy when I finally got to talk to the manager it was no wonder why the employees were the way they were. He kept talking and talking ( keep in mind he wouldn't go to the salon so I had to speak to him over the phone) and my mom was upset because he wouldn't let me speak. So she spoke to him and he was very rude to her. And I ended up leaving with 35 dollars when I paid 60. If the customer isn't satisfied with the job do what you can to make it right, arguing with the customer is never okay. And because of this you can guarantee i will also be notifying the California board of barbering and cosmetology. If you have a nasty attitude with your client and can't even handle the situation professionally you shouldn't own a business or have employees that act that way read more

This place is amazing. I just had a brazilian wax and the woman who did it was so professional and sweet. I could kick myself for not remembering her name. The pain was just like getting an eyebrow wax and was completely tolerable. I did get the numbing spray and I paid extra for the chocolate wax and it was completely worth it. Don't go to the lady with lot of bangles, petite.. She has no clue what to do !! She spoilt my eyebrows and later blammed saying my eyebrows is not evenly grown and so the result also is uneven. If so, I wonder how my eyebrows grew evenly all these years, every single month!!! Even upper lips is not done properly. Utter waste of money if you go to her. Been going here for over a year. Purchased a package for $99 for 3 waxes. My mistake, didn't notice my last was expired on 5/1/15. (only good for one year). The receptionist told me to come in anyway and she would see what she could do. Well... what she could do was sell me another package of 3 waxes to honor my expired one. To be honest I was ok with this but thought it bad customer service that they wouldn't just honor my last wax. Anyway, my normal gal wasn't there and a younger girl helped me. She was rough, didn't know how to wax properly, and told me that my hair was TOO thick. When I was done, I told the guy that I didn't want the package, to just charge me the one wax and no tip. He was mad that I wasn't doing the package even after I told him that the service was terrible. They lost me a customer for life. I would never go here nor to another Yuva ever again. read more

Just went in for a very basic eyebrow cleanup, Waited for about 20 mins to have someone else taken before me who came in after me, just because the girl with the red hair wanted it that way. I should of been in and out in 10 mins max. I refuse to waste my time and money in a place who hires a receptionist that doesn't even acknowledge there own clientele. A Receptionist should be warm and inviting. This place will most likely be out of business in the next year if they continue with poor customer service. Will not be returning. read more

My mom and I came here because we are travelling soon and had to go to the closest place. The first time we were here, we decided we wouldn't come back, but given the circumstances, we gave them another chance. What bothered us the first time was a play on prices and lack of attention. This time we called in advance because we had a coupon for two dollars off, making the total price for eyebrows $7. We came in, gave him the coupon and he said it would be $8 because of a charge on using card? They shouldn't be charging extra unless it's a credit card and it was not. No place charges extra for using a debit card, it's just a way to always try to play with prices. $1 isn't a lot but we knew something like this would happen and of course it did. As for the brows, I felt rushed. There was a line so it seemed like the ladies were rushing to get customers in instead of doing a good job on each person. It hurt more than usual, and because I felt rushed, I made sure to double check, and surely enough one brow was thicker than the other. I asked her to double check and she agreed, fixed it quickly and I checked again. I didn't want to feel rude or rushed so I paid and left, but upon closer inspection at home I realized she had left several hairs unplucked. One brow was longer, and my left brow was not threaded straight. She also left hair all over my face and the lotion or aloe she applied was just a swipe and nothing relaxing at all. I can fix what she left undone as I do my own eyebrows and know what a good job looks like, but the whole point in coming here was to not waste time since I travel tomorrow. With my usual places, I come in, feel welcomed, never get played with prices, always am given great attention regardless of who is in line, never have to correct any mistakes on my brows, never hair excess hair left on my face and chest, and am always given more than just a sad dash of aloe on my brows. I highly recommend you go somewhere less commercialized because you will get lower prices and more attention. This time for sure, not coming back. read more

I highly highly recommend Kristen if you need some eyelashes done!! I've had mine for a good 3 weeks now and they still look bomb! She was really fast and light with her craft. I was able to take a quick nap and not feel a thing . Most importantly she really listened to what I was looking for. I have had my eyelashes done in the past and they always came out a bit off from my expectations, but these are definitely THE ONEs I love the most!! Went in to get my eyebrows done. After she was finished, I look at my brows and they're literally horrible. One eyebrow is significantly thinner than the other. She totally butchered my brow. AND she left remaining hairs that now I'm plucking because she couldn't do her job correctly. Honestly just come here for Rupa. I'm so upset. read more
