Don't go to the lady with lot of bangles, petite.. She has no clue what to do !! She spoilt my eyebrows and later blammed saying my eyebrows is not evenly grown and so the result also is uneven. Been going here for over a year. Purchased a package for $99 for 3 waxes. My mistake, didn't notice my last was expired on 5/1/15. (only good for one year). The receptionist told me to come in anyway and she would see what she could do. Well... what she could do was sell me another package of 3 waxes to honor my expired one. To be honest I was ok with this but thought it bad customer service that they wouldn't just honor my last wax. Anyway, my normal gal wasn't there and a younger girl helped me. She was rough, didn't know how to wax properly, and told me that my hair was TOO thick. When I was done, I told the guy that I didn't want the package, to just charge me the one wax and no tip. He was mad that I wasn't doing the package even after I told him that the service was terrible. They lost me a customer for life. I would never go here nor to another Yuva ever again. read more

Just went in for a very basic eyebrow cleanup, Waited for about 20 mins to have someone else taken before me who came in after me, just because the girl with the red hair wanted it that way. I should of been in and out in 10 mins max. I refuse to waste my time and money in a place who hires a receptionist that doesn't even acknowledge there own clientele. A Receptionist should be warm and inviting. This place will most likely be out of business in the next year if they continue with poor customer service. Will not be returning. read more

I came here for my lash extensions paid over 200 dollars then i came here several times for my Brazilian wax paid over more then 100 everytime i come here they switch up the price I get the same service done or less! I even make sure to ask ok how much would it be and they tell me the price so I'm like ok then EVERYTIME i go up to counter to pay they up it literally 20-30 more it's ridiculous! They say ooh it includes tip!? Wtf I'm sorry but that is not up to you it's up to the customers. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in on Wednesday to get my lashes done, and the lady Sonia shows me which ones I would be getting done on my face. I agreed to the lashes, and once she starts she's talking to her coworker in her native language, which I find unprofessional. To top that off while she's putting on the lashes she suddenly tells me she's doing extra lashes on me which will cost me five dollars extra, in my head I'm thinking wtf, she already started might as well. To get to the point she goes on to ask me if I'm Indian I reply I'm no, and then she asks oh so your Mexican I was shocked by the way she said it. And she kept asking where I worked and lived which was fine because she was trying to start a conversation and so I told her I live in corona and I told her the drive was horrible but I only came for the lashes since I had a day off. Fast forward she finishes tells me my total which is 60 dollars and I'm just there like what the hell I paid for it and went home not a second till I got to the car my eye was getting itchy, I look at it and it's red and I'm thinking maybe it's because she just finished. Heck no I get home and when I look in the mirror my eyes are swollen and itchy and I called them back to see if they could do anything. The lady's over the phone where soooo unprofessional passing the phone around acting dumb. And I had to call back maybe three times just to try to explain what happened to my eyes but the moment I get hanged up on I was furious. I told my mom and we made the trip to Anaheim again to talk to the manager, and to get my full refund. When we get to the place the lady Sonia is there and she's talking about how it's my fault and that if I didn't like the service I shouldn't have left the salon the other day. Boy when I finally got to talk to the manager it was no wonder why the employees were the way they were. He kept talking and talking ( keep in mind he wouldn't go to the salon so I had to speak to him over the phone) and my mom was upset because he wouldn't let me speak. So she spoke to him and he was very rude to her. And I ended up leaving with 35 dollars when I paid 60. If the customer isn't satisfied with the job do what you can to make it right, arguing with the customer is never okay. And because of this you can guarantee i will also be notifying the California board of barbering and cosmetology. If you have a nasty attitude with your client and can't even handle the situation professionally you shouldn't own a business or have employees that act that way read more

I highly highly recommend Kristen if you need some eyelashes done!! I've had mine for a good 3 weeks now and they still look bomb! She was really fast and light with her craft. I was able to take a quick nap and not feel a thing . Most importantly she really listened to what I was looking for. I have had my eyelashes done in the past and they always came out a bit off from my expectations, but these are definitely THE ONEs I love the most!! My mom and I came here because we are travelling soon and had to go to the closest place. The first time we were here, we decided we wouldn't come back, but given the circumstances, we gave them another chance. What bothered us the first time was a play on prices and lack of attention. This time we called in advance because we had a coupon for two dollars off, making the total price for eyebrows $7. We came in, gave him the coupon and he said it would be $8 because of a charge on using card? They shouldn't be charging extra unless it's a credit card and it was not. No place charges extra for using a debit card, it's just a way to always try to play with prices. $1 isn't a lot but we knew something like this would happen and of course it did. As for the brows, I felt rushed. There was a line so it seemed like the ladies were rushing to get customers in instead of doing a good job on each person. It hurt more than usual, and because I felt rushed, I made sure to double check, and surely enough one brow was thicker than the other. I asked her to double check and she agreed, fixed it quickly and I checked again. I didn't want to feel rude or rushed so I paid and left, but upon closer inspection at home I realized she had left several hairs unplucked. One brow was longer, and my left brow was not threaded straight. She also left hair all over my face and the lotion or aloe she applied was just a swipe and nothing relaxing at all. I can fix what she left undone as I do my own eyebrows and know what a good job looks like, but the whole point in coming here was to not waste time since I travel tomorrow. With my usual places, I come in, feel welcomed, never get played with prices, always am given great attention regardless of who is in line, never have to correct any mistakes on my brows, never hair excess hair left on my face and chest, and am always given more than just a sad dash of aloe on my brows. I highly recommend you go somewhere less commercialized because you will get lower prices and more attention. This time for sure, not coming back. read more

Went in to get my eyebrows done. After she was finished, I look at my brows and they're literally horrible. One eyebrow is significantly thinner than the other. She totally butchered my brow. I used to really like how they did my eyebrows they would just clean them up and shape them. The last like two times I have gone have been an absolute nightmare the first bad one the lady like chopped a line across my eyebrow, and I figured maybe since she is new. So I went back just making sure I didn't get her again then I got another girl who was also new and she left my eyebrows so thin and crazy looking, I was shocked I asked her to clean them up and shape a little. First time I went there it was ok. i was satisfied with their service. Location is clean and neat. SECOND and LAST time I went there they ruined my eyebrows!! it was a young lady in the second chair. As I arrived, i was called up to the chair so it was fairly quick. Once i sat down another lady walked in complaining about her eyebrows not being even. I turned to looked at her and THEY WERE NOT EVEN!!! seems like they chopped off half of her right eyebrow. she was disappointed. despite that happening, i continued getting mine done. I was looking for a place that would do a little shoulder massage close to my house. If you go to there website, it says all locations have massage so I called and made an appointment. When I went there, they didn't know which service I asked for and kept askig me what I wanted. I ended up just doing a package that included face bleach, mud massage, eyebrow threading and very minor massage. I go to a different place to get my brows done so just tried it out to see if they do better (since they are way closer than the other). Guess what? The lady who did my face bleach bleached my hair so hairs along my facelines are all bleached. It will look so ugly when these hairs grow out sunce root parts all bleached up. Also threading lady was different from the facial and massage lady and she was horrible. When I looked at the mirror after the service, my brows were uneven and she did a horrible job on my brows. I think I pretty much tried everything besides waxing here and will never go back. read more

I was very excited to see this salon open up since they are right across the street from where I live and they had great reviews for their new york location. For months I had been looking for a new threader since my lady of many years was getting sloppy and Brow Mantra didnt do it for me. The first time I went in was great, Rupa did a fantastic job and got my brows back into shape, when I went to pay I had to get a loaded gift card since the minimum amount to use a card is 20 dollars (The sign is too small and needs to be posted in a clearer area) but I was ok with it because I was happy with the work. The second time I went in Rupa was off so an older woman worked on me, she did a horrible job! My eyebrows were 2 different shapes, thinner and she didnt even clean up the area properly, I paid nonetheless and saw that I had forgotten my punch card so the threader who I payed with said thats ok ill give you a new one and next time you come in we'll just combine the cards. My third visit Rupa was waxing someone and I asked that I not be serviced by the older woman I had the last time, Paula helped me and she did an ok job but then again my brows were jacked from the last time so I cant clock her too much for that. When I went to pay I pulled out the 2 cards I had and asked the new receptionist to join them (as I had been told my last visit I could), she looked at me like I had just told her off, rolled her eyes and told me they dont do that. I let her know what they had told me and she said I dont know why they told you that but thats wrong so I asked what I was supposed to do with 2 cards and she told me to just save them. I have not gotten my brows done there since but a friend I had referred there has had better luck so I have been back to use all the money on the gift card since I also forgot that on my second visit. I am seriously considering continuing my search for a brow stylist because although most of the girls here arent doing that bad of a job the customer service my friend and I have received since they hired the new receptionist has been horrible. This girl acts as if she cant be bothered with anyone, she rolls her eyes, smirks when you ask a legitimate request and gives attitude for days. When we asked for the owner or manager on our last visit she said he wasnt there and she didnt know how to get a hold of him and offered no resolution, this place should be trying to keep business not treating its clients like idiots and driving them away. Get your receptionist some lessons in customer service and this customer just may return. read more

I go here every other two weeks and I love the young girl with long hair. I ALWAYS forget her name, but she is great at what she does she is thorough and really knows what she is doing. I have been to other threaders there and they always miss spots on your eyebrows or they rush through the service. I gave 3 stars for the fact that your service can be really good by her or actually really bad and badly done by anyone else if it was just her id give the whole establishment 5 stars. read more

I came here today like I do every other month. They seated me with a new lady who has never done my eyebrows before. Immediately she asked me to stretch my eyelid never asking how I wanted my eyebrows or what shape as if she had a plan in her mind to make it however she wanted. She threatened my eyebrows very roughly. I used to getting my eyebrows threaded but it has never hurt this much. Sheen finish my eyebrows and I look in the mirror she left this ugly box shape on top. I went to tell my mom to address my concerns. My mom asked her if she could fix the top. After the second attempt I look in the mirror again to see almost pencils thin eyebrows that have only gotten thinner from the bottom and not have this hideous arch with the same exact hideous box shape at the top. As I look in the mirror I could barely hold my tears in. I have a pageant coming up in three days and need everything to be perfect. It has taken me so long to make my eyebrows as thick as they were so if you have ever waited so long for your eyebrows to be that perfect thickness that looks good with a natural defined shape then have them thinner than you've ever had in your life you know what I feel. She saw my disappointment and my mom told her this is not what she had asked for she kept back talking saying that I asked her to do that speaking in another language with her other employees. The last thing she said to me " you can't do nothing now." I left the car on my mom stayed to get her eyebrows done by another lady who she is used to. When my mom returns for the car she tells me she had to pay for both of us. That made me feel even worse because basically they made us pay you for them ruining my eyebrows which took so long to grow. Now I'm going to have to spend years looking like I wax all my eyebrow hair off and took a sharpie and drew a thin line. By the way I'm still in high school and you know how judgeful teens are so now they have ruined my self-esteem as well. Thank you for poor customer service I will never return and those who I have recommended in the past when I return as well.
