I used to really like how they did my eyebrows they would just clean them up and shape them. The last like two times I have gone have been an absolute nightmare the first bad one the lady like chopped a line across my eyebrow, and I figured maybe since she is new. So I went back just making sure I didn't get her again then I got another girl who was also new and she left my eyebrows so thin and crazy looking, I was shocked I asked her to clean them up and shape a little. I was looking for a place that would do a little shoulder massage close to my house. If you go to there website, it says all locations have massage so I called and made an appointment. When I went there, they didn't know which service I asked for and kept askig me what I wanted. I ended up just doing a package that included face bleach, mud massage, eyebrow threading and very minor massage. I go to a different place to get my brows done so just tried it out to see if they do better (since they are way closer than the other). Guess what? The lady who did my face bleach bleached my hair so hairs along my facelines are all bleached. It will look so ugly when these hairs grow out sunce root parts all bleached up. Also threading lady was different from the facial and massage lady and she was horrible. When I looked at the mirror after the service, my brows were uneven and she did a horrible job on my brows. First time I went there it was ok. i was satisfied with their service. Location is clean and neat. SECOND and LAST time I went there they ruined my eyebrows!! it was a young lady in the second chair. As I arrived, i was called up to the chair so it was fairly quick. Once i sat down another lady walked in complaining about her eyebrows not being even. I turned to looked at her and THEY WERE NOT EVEN!!! seems like they chopped off half of her right eyebrow. she was disappointed. despite that happening, i continued getting mine done. I came here today like I do every other month. They seated me with a new lady who has never done my eyebrows before. Immediately she asked me to stretch my eyelid never asking how I wanted my eyebrows or what shape as if she had a plan in her mind to make it however she wanted. She threatened my eyebrows very roughly. I used to getting my eyebrows threaded but it has never hurt this much. Sheen finish my eyebrows and I look in the mirror she left this ugly box shape on top. I went to tell my mom to address my concerns. My mom asked her if she could fix the top. After the second attempt I look in the mirror again to see almost pencils thin eyebrows that have only gotten thinner from the bottom and not have this hideous arch with the same exact hideous box shape at the top. As I look in the mirror I could barely hold my tears in. I have a pageant coming up in three days and need everything to be perfect. It has taken me so long to make my eyebrows as thick as they were so if you have ever waited so long for your eyebrows to be that perfect thickness that looks good with a natural defined shape then have them thinner than you've ever had in your life you know what I feel. She saw my disappointment and my mom told her this is not what she had asked for she kept back talking saying that I asked her to do that speaking in another language with her other employees. The last thing she said to me " you can't do nothing now." I left the car on my mom stayed to get her eyebrows done by another lady who she is used to. When my mom returns for the car she tells me she had to pay for both of us. That made me feel even worse because basically they made us pay you for them ruining my eyebrows which took so long to grow. Now I'm going to have to spend years looking like I wax all my eyebrow hair off and took a sharpie and drew a thin line. By the way I'm still in high school and you know how judgeful teens are so now they have ruined my self-esteem as well. Thank you for poor customer service I will never return and those who I have recommended in the past when I return as well. I was very excited to see this salon open up since they are right across the street from where I live and they had great reviews for their new york location. For months I had been looking for a new threader since my lady of many years was getting sloppy and Brow Mantra didnt do it for me. The first time I went in was great, Rupa did a fantastic job and got my brows back into shape, when I went to pay I had to get a loaded gift card since the minimum amount to use a card is 20 dollars (The sign is too small and needs to be posted in a clearer area) but I was ok with it because I was happy with the work. The second time I went in Rupa was off so an older woman worked on me, she did a horrible job! My eyebrows were 2 different shapes, thinner and she didnt even clean up the area properly, I paid nonetheless and saw that I had forgotten my punch card so the threader who I payed with said thats ok ill give you a new one and next time you come in we'll just combine the cards. My third visit Rupa was waxing someone and I asked that I not be serviced by the older woman I had the last time, Paula helped me and she did an ok job but then again my brows were jacked from the last time so I cant clock her too much for that. When I went to pay I pulled out the 2 cards I had and asked the new receptionist to join them (as I had been told my last visit I could), she looked at me like I had just told her off, rolled her eyes and told me they dont do that. I let her know what they had told me and she said I dont know why they told you that but thats wrong so I asked what I was supposed to do with 2 cards and she told me to just save them. I have not gotten my brows done there since but a friend I had referred there has had better luck so I have been back to use all the money on the gift card since I also forgot that on my second visit. I am seriously considering continuing my search for a brow stylist because although most of the girls here arent doing that bad of a job the customer service my friend and I have received since they hired the new receptionist has been horrible. This girl acts as if she cant be bothered with anyone, she rolls her eyes, smirks when you ask a legitimate request and gives attitude for days. When we asked for the owner or manager on our last visit she said he wasnt there and she didnt know how to get a hold of him and offered no resolution, this place should be trying to keep business not treating its clients like idiots and driving them away. Get your receptionist some lessons in customer service and this customer just may return. read more

I go here every other two weeks and I love the young girl with long hair. I ALWAYS forget her name, but she is great at what she does she is thorough and really knows what she is doing. I have been to other threaders there and they always miss spots on your eyebrows or they rush through the service. I gave 3 stars for the fact that your service can be really good by her or actually really bad and badly done by anyone else if it was just her id give the whole establishment 5 stars. read more

I was excited to visit this spot since its close by to my new home. My First visit was Saturday 6/25 in afternoon- No friendly reception from the front desk receptionist in fact she was rude as hell when asking questions about service , no smile just speaking to me like if i was bothering her and then rude to another co-worker scolding her for changing chairs or something like that but it was inappropriate way of speaking to a co-worker and in front of customers. I'm guessing this receptionist is probably the same one others are having ill experiences with and It's unfortunate that management continues to keep her on. She represents this business with such an unpleasant demeanor. I wont be back. read more

I walked into here to get my eyebrows waxed (not threaded) when I told the lady I wanted them waxed, she looked at me like I was crazy! She kept asking me if I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before and why do I want them waxed instead. She insisted that I try it and if I didn't like it, they could stop, I said no and she continued to try to get me to thread them. After about 10 minutes or so, a different lady sat me down and asked me what I needed done, when I told her she did the same thing as the lady behind the counter (I was so annoyed, that I almost got up and left) when she finally got the wax, she tried to cool it off by blowing on it... In my face! My eyes always tend to water and when she was waxing, a tear started rolling down my face and she said "I told you waxing hurts, next time you should try threading, so you won't cry." Towards the end of my waxing she asked if she could thread to get the little hairs, I was so annoyed that I just wanted it to be over so I told her fine. The only reason this got 2 stars is because she did do a good job waxing. read more

There is a lady here that has screwew up my eyebrows previously, but since she was the only one available to do my chin/neck so I had to deal. She kept asking if I wanted my lip I had to say no 3 times and she couldn't understand what I was asking for. I had to have the lady who did it last time explain it to her. The cost has always been charged as 1/2 neck and chin. Well this lady wanted to charge me full neck for a couple hairs because she says it's too much. She's just lazy and wants more money. This was my first going to get my eyelashes done and have never been so disappointed. I come here to get my eyebrows done so figured it would be great for my lashes to but was sadly mistaken. First the lady knew it was my first time so she was persistent on trying to get me to spend more (get the $100 set) for my first time. After having to say no multiple times they were no help when asking questions about my own lash and they just kept walking away. Now while applying them my eye were watering a little so she said to just tell her to stop and even when I did go try and whip my eye she just proceed over me. She got huge clumps of glue in my eyes that they burned. Sadly after all of this for my first time I didn't even like how they came out since they look like trash and super fake not natural at all which I said I wanted just a little fuller and more curl yet got super thick and no curl. Ive never written a bad review before but this is the truth of my terrible experience here. I found this place on Groupon trying to get a good deal on a Brazilian wax. I purchased one Brazilian wax for $25 which seemed pretty good. I called and made an appointment the same day. I was helped quickly and the lady asked me which wax I preferred for my Brazilian. I told her it was my first time here and wasn't sure. She convinced me that the chocolate wax was best but failed to tell me there was an additional charge. The wax was extremely hot and mentioned it several times but the lady failed to understand. Once it was beyond hot and it burned my skin to a bloody bruise. I felt beyond irritated and a burning sensation. Once I went to redeem my Groupon deal I was told I had a balance of $15. I told them I was never informed that wax was additional. They said they "Usually" tell customers the price difference but mine was not the case. On top of that they wanted to charge a tip after being so rude and getting burned in the most intimate area. So I ended up paying $40 for a terrible wax when I originally purchased a $25 "Deal". The worst customer service, especially for a first time customer. It's been two weeks and my skin is still peeling from burns from the hot wax. The chocolate wax is terrible. I've had many ingrown hairs and wax was a lot harsher. Don't let them fool you that it's better in order to charge you a lot more. read more

although my eyebrows look great i am never coming back here again! the lady that did my brows was rude as hell & the eyelash lady was sweet. i got my eyelashes done which i was told were gonna last 3 months & of course i had to be getting fills it's been ONE week my right eye has almost no fake lashes! ONE WEEK!!!! not only that when i was ringed up the eyelash lady told me "its $129 with tip included" excuse me tip included? i'm all for giving tips but not when it's demanded hell no you got me jacked up! first of all i will be the one to decided if i give you a tip or not & how much i will give you & when i told her she agreed that the tip was always optional... as i'm having this conversation with her the brow lady was all giving me dirty looks. ridiculous! ultimately i ended up giving them the $129 but this will be the last time they will ever get a penny from me again. i honestly do regret giving them the tip now that my lashes are falling off so quickly! read more
