So everyone knows one of the perks of getting a pedicure is the massage chair. I came here for a pedicure and a no chip manicure and they decided they wanted to do them both at the same time and with that being said I couldn't have the massage chair on due to the shaking. I asked why are you doing them both at once instead of one at a time like usual and the response was because they were near closing. If you didn't have time to accommodate my request properly you should not have accepted me as a customer. I am paying you the same amount of money as if I came in at 2pm so why should I have to accept a rush job?? I am very dissatisfied and I will not be coming back here. Two thumbs down read more

Got a mani-pedi and was extremely pleased. They are open a little later which is nice for me since I have trouble getting there early. They incorporate a little extra shoulder massage for with the manicure. Amazing!! The prices were awesome for what I got done. And my nails look great. I'm so glad this place opened! It is my new favorite place to get my No-Chip Manicure. I've been three times so far and every time has been great. And they have a no chip 2-week guarantee, which is really nice. The only downside is that sometimes you have to wait, but that is due to it being so busy (which is, in a way, a great sign), I usually have to wait about 15 or so minutes when I go right after work. I came in around 10am on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy, I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I got a pedi, and wasn't very happy with it. Coming from other nail salons they were able to give better pedis. (Full scrubs, cleaning, buffering ect) No matter what amount it is, a full service is what every customer needs and deserves. I hate to give any business a one star review, however I was truly disappointed by this place. My mom and I went in for pedicures on a Sunday afternoon near the end of their work day. We called before for an appointment. We both got basic pedicures. We both felt very rushed. Both of our nail technicians did a horrible job painting our toes. They didn't wanted to cut our toe nails even upon asking. My Mom's nail tech filed her nail completely crooked. We were both disappointed upon leaving. My mom ended up with a toe infection. These people guarantee you a two-week guarantee on there no chip gelish Polish yet I noticed that the polish looked lumpy and uneven after a few hours of leaving the place, they also turned a dark color the color I had originally gotten was a light pink. I hadn't had a chance to go back due to my work schedule so I went in today 5 days later to get them "fixed" you would think that when a business guarantees a certain service they will fix at no cost because that's what a guarantee is. Obviously these people don't understand that concept.. The first time I went in there I paid a total of $73 not including the $5 tip I left Chloe the girl who did my nails. I went in today and they were willing to fix it for free BUT ONLY if I used regular nail polish so I told her that didn't make sense since 5 days ago I payed for gel polish so why should I get regular polish that is a lot cheaper. She said that if I was to get a different color I would have to pay I told her I didn't want to get the same color because I was afraid of dealing with the same problem again and having to waste time and gas to get them fixed again. So I opted for a different color a darker color. She "painted them and she didn't take her time she left the polish really uneven and they still had the fucking nerve to charge me $15 so I told the male receptionist that they shouldn't guarantee a 2 week polish if it's not even going to hold up to 5 days and he gave me some bullshit excuse about how I must of had a chemical reaction or what not but since I got a different color I had to pay. How is getting a chemical reaction my fault. Not to mention I still payed $15 for a shitty polish application I could have fixed myself. I don't mind spending money on nails my problem is how money hungry and non professional this lady Chloe is. I don't recommend anybody to come here. I used to come here for just mani/pedis and always loved them. I gave up on no-chip because everywhere I went, it was just done very poorly. Started chipping after a couple days, a week.... Whatever it maybe. And even when the place guaranteed 2 weeks who really wants to drive back to get one nail fixed. But randomly I decided to try the no-chip manicure at Z Nails because I was going on vacation. And let me tell you, I was SO impressed. The nails lasted 2 weeks, not even a single chip, actually lasted longer than 2 weeks. The nail tech was very meticulous and took her time with each step, which I might take a little longer but so worth it. I have been to many different nail salons in many different cities and I would say the no-chip was the best here at Z Nail Spa. I'll be going back for another no-chip manicure next week. I really wanted to love this place. I was so excited to find something close to my new apartment so highly rated, plus 20% off because they're celebrating their grand opening? Sounds wonderful! I got a mani-pedi, which was a mistake. Had I stuck with just the pedicure, it would have been disappointing but not review-worthy. The pedicure specifically says 15 minute massage, and since the massage is my favorite part of pedis I love that they say it comes standard. Well, the lady who was did my pedi was using very little pressure and the massage ended in less than half the time promised. She then excused herself because she was feeling sick, and someone else finished my pedicure. I understand and have no problems with her being sick - it happens! - but the guy who replaced her just moved on to painting my toenails. So I missed out on most of the reason I get pedis in the first place. So then we move on to the mani. It was okay but not great - the lady who was sick took back over again, and there was about 3 minutes total of massaging my hands, none on the arms at all. I accidentally bumped my one of my nails against something while they were drying, and instead of taking the polish off and repainting, she just paints over it. Okay, I can live with that, I know no one is looking at my hands that closely and I don't want to be a pain. After sitting under the nail dryer for a while, she comes over and touches my nails and tells me they're dry. So I leave and come home. Final straw - I pick up something in my garage to bring inside with me, and hit my thumb on the top of the shelf the thing is sitting on. Thumb nail polish is destroyed. This isn't the nail that was repainted later, I would understand that it may not be completely dry when the others are. No, this is a new nail. No way it can even be "fixed" by smoothing it out at home. I had chosen a pretty, dark red, a good fall color, for both my toes and nails.I don't own any color remotely similar to try to fix it with. I don't really want to go back and complain, but I'm not going to my office tomorrow with one of my nails looking like crap, so I'm going to have to remove all of the polish and repaint my nails another color tonight. Really sucks since the other 8 look beautiful. And now my fingernails won't match my toes unless I repaint those too. I might go back to this place one more time in the future to give it another try since the other reviews are so great, but I was really disappointed. If it wasn't for the overwhelmingly positive experiences of everyone else here, I'd write this place off immediately since there are so many other nail salons around. Prices: Regular pedi was $28, mani-pedi was $35. Since everything was 20% off, it was $28 for the mani-pedi. Wait: No wait at all, I went around 3pm today (Sunday). They were busy (probably 6 or 8 other customers there) but they were staffed for it. I only saw one or two people ever have to sit and wait. Massage: No massage while nails were drying, which is something mentioned in multiple reviews here. read more

I came here to have my nails fixed after an awful experience at a salon in Wheaton. They got me in on Sunday evening even though they were really busy with clients. Chloe did an amazing job! She took her time and made sure to check in with me throughout to ensure its what I wanted. Since it took at least an extra 20mins to soak off the mess from the other salon, Chloe even stayed late to finish things up for me. I drove 45 minutes to have my nails done here based on the reviews. I have to say that the drive was worth it. Since moving to the city I have been unable to find a nail place but I have to say that I have found my new place. Everyone was attentive, friendly and most importantly they did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. The neck massage at the end of my manicure was an unexpected surprise and very much appreciated. I will definitely come back here again. Seriously best nail place I've been to. Nothing in the area compares. For starters they're brand new so they have a 20% off special on everything! I spent $58 for something I'd usually spend over $80 for. Second, the service is just phenomenal. They actually do give a 15 minute massage with a pedicure like it says on the pamphlet! I got a full set of gel nails and I'm such a perfectionist I've only ever been satisfied with one other time getting them put on, but first time in here they did them perfectly! Every single time someone walked threw the door she would get up in the middle of my manicure to talk to someone. Me and two other family members came in for mani pedis and it took them almost three hours. This place needs more staff then they have because they don't know what they're doing. A friend of mine got acrylics from here and they burned her side of her nail while using the spinning metal wheel. This took me forever. Z nails? My girlfriend and I went in for Mani/Pedi's and were rushed through the whole process not to mentioned being split up. Nothing "spa" or relaxing about it. There were only two other women in the place already getting their services applied and NO ONE else waiting. The tech working on my girlfriend couldn't manage to work without her cell phone attached to her head. When my tech got to my no chip mani, the color I had chosen apparently was down to the dregs of the bottle. She kept trying to scrape the sides of the bottle for polish instead of asking me if I preferred a different color that wasn't so thick and past it's prime. I got at least 5 gel manicures from this place already. Every time I go here I ask for Nancy and my nails always come out perfect! I work in a hospital which means I have to wash my hands several times a day. Amazingly, my nails lasted me more than 2 weeks. After the 2nd week, when it starts to chip my nails don't have that dried-out cracking cuticle appearance. They also give discounts from time to time. Did I mention that their bathroom looks like a disco, the entire place is super clean, and the staff is very friendly?! This is the only nail spa that I'll be going to from now on. read more

Normally I would have nothing but great things to say about this salon, but I just recently started going back here to get my nails done and I think they are buying cheap products and charging us the same prices. I've only had my "no chip" manicure nails for 1 week and 2 days, and two nails have broken almost immediately and most of the "no chip" polish has chipped almost completely off each nails starting from the tip. I've already gone back there and paid them to fix them a few days ago and I'm not going back anymore. I have spoken to 2 other women from local businesses that used to get their nails done here and they said the exact same thing. I used to love this place, but for whatever reason, they are now using cheap and flimsy nails and applying "no chip" nail polish that comes off after ONE swim in the pool. I am new to the area and was looking for a great new salon. Since Z Nail Spa had such great reviews I thought it would be a good fit. I made an appointment for a no chip mani and pedi at 4:00 p.m. and showed up 5 minutes before to choose colors. Also, I had called, before arriving, at 3:30 to confirm my appointment and they were able to confirm. When I arrived, immediately I was asked what service I was interested in and I told them that I had an appointment for a no chip mani and pedi at 4:00. They said we don't have any appointments in the computer but we should be able to help you at 4:10. 10 minutes? No biggie, they had great reviews so I thought I would give them a chance. They asked me to wait in the pedicure area, so I did, alone in the far corner where the man seated me. At 4:10 I looked around and caught someone's eye who came over with some nail colors for me to look at, that I continued looking at until 4:30. I put my shoes on and left. Upon departure from the salon the man that greeted me said wait, if you can wait 10 minutes I have two people that can help you. I proceeded to leave since I couldn't wait any longer. I expect such wait times for a walk in appointment, not a confirmed appointment. For $45 for the mani and $45 for the pedi I will be going somewhere that can keep their appointments. read more

I have to say that when i walked in i thought I was in for a treat but...I went with my wife and our friend to get pedicures and we decided to try this place as it is close to us. We made an appointment for 1300 and arrived on time and they were only able to start 2 of us as they were still working on 2 other customers. Ok a little picky but hey we were together. I was told to sit and soak until they could start my pedicure. So i put my feet in the lukewarm water and tried to have a chair massage while i waited but...the chair would not stay on and you had to keep turning it off and on and it would only roll up and down and then stop. when they finally started the pedicure the water was cool. She started and maybe felt she had to catch up to the others, lt went fast. She nicked both ankles with the abrasive scrubber to the point that they bled, yes my ankles were bleeding.
