I asked for chicken on the side with my pad thai
    Alexandra S.

Thai House has the best Pad Thai I've ever had. I've been coming here for years, and it's always consistent and freshly made. They offer several spice levels 0-5 to fit your preference; they do offer 6-10 as a secret off-menu experience, but beware because that ish is Thai hot! Their yellow curry is also my go-to. Their lunch special pricing is hard to beat in North Scottsdale. Each lunch order comes with a side salad (the dressing is insanely delicious) or soup (egg drop soup), steamed or fried rice, and an entree. The service is always super friendly and very fast. They remember me (and my order) every time I come in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is very plain (the booths are comfortable) and just what you'd expect from an excellent Asian restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No fanfare, just amazing food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    24. Kung Pao with extra veggies
    Emily S.

Came in around 7pm on a Sunday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]More than half the tables were open. We were seated right away and the table had rice on it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I requested to sit somewhere quieter and that table was sticky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Took a while to order, staff was busy busing tables but the food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the kung pao with extra veggies (not Thai, I know!!). It was very average. The chicken tasted microwaved :( the veggies were crisp and plentiful! The sauce was a little watery and there weren't any Szechuan peppercorns or more authentic ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms were pretty dirty and the soap and toilet paper were out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came here out of convenience as I was in the area and found myself hungry; however, I probably wouldn't come back :(

Had some time to kill and wanted quick lunch so I came by here. Lunch menu price looked reasonable and there were some people eating so I said why not. I ordered the chicken panang lunch special with salad. I was briefly worried when I told the waitress I wanted thai hot and she stopped, looked at me and asked me again if I wanted thai hot.. I said yes, snd I thought to myself oooh it's going to kick my booty.. Well, salad was ok with the ginger soy flavor dressing. My panang came out pretty quick. I usually don't order chicken for lunch special because I don't like the taste and or texture. Well. I was right. The curry was little on the too much sweet side and had little kick. Chicken was little bit on the tough over cooked side for my liking . Over all was not bad. I ate half way through and expected the heat to creep up on me, but didn't. This place thai hot was like maybe medium level. Over all not too bad of a place for decent priced quick lunch but I probably won't be coming back.

Stopped here on my lunch break, the food has blown me away!!!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The flavors are bold and delicious, the portion sizes are huge and the vibe is super chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I keep getting distracted eating while eating because it's that good. The staff are kind and were very understanding of the initial mix up we had when we arrived. Thank you for the yummy food Thai House!

Service was good, kind and prompt. They didn't really anticipate my needs and offer items such as to go boxes but were responsive when I asked. Well priced lunch specials. I went with the 1/2 charbroiled chicken but honestly disappointed. There was no char. It seemed dry and had a bit of a glaze I didn't expect. A lot of bones in the pieces I started with. Saved most of it to take home so I could dress it up with more flavors. Well-portioned though. The egg drop soup was great. The side salad was great. I also tried the fresh rolls. They were very good. The sauce was a bit too sweet and I couldn't really taste the peanuts with the sauce but not bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place seems to get popular at nuts so assuming order items are popular. I saw a lot of folks ordering noodles.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Cup of Tom-kha soup

I was driving somewhere else to eat a salad, when I saw this place. Some Tom Kha Soup sounded good! (Never-mind the fact I ate some at a different Thai restaurant yesterday. ) I still wanted it. A small portion. I am trying to be mindful of my food portions these days. I ordered their Tom Kha soup with chicken and a side of white rice. The portion was perfect for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is clean and busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is prompt and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Country music is playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My soup was spice level 2 and perfect for me. Goldilocks would say it's just right. I peeked at other people's food and the dishes I saw all looked good!

This hole in the wall exists even before Covid hit us and has been running through successfully. When the food and service is good it's bound to stay! We went here for a lunch and this place was crowded for a Monday during lunch! I went with iced tea and pad Thai noodles with a spice level 3. The service was quick and the waiter was friendly. The food was delicious, the portion was decent and enjoyed my meal. I would highly recommend this place. My friends who had spicy noodles, pineapple fried rice were going ga ga over how good their meal was. Price is reasonable and this place is going to stay!

Beef 40. Pad See Ew, shrimp 39. Pad Thai, 32. Panang curry vegetarian
    Caroline E.

We got takeout here on a Sunday night and I'm not normally one that wants Thai food but let me tell you this place was amazing. We got the panang curry vegetarian (insanely good), the beef pad see ew (soooo good), and shrimp pad Thai! My husband loved the pad see ew and so did I, really great flavors and the panang curry's flavors were so good we will definitely be getting takeout here more often! We got a spice level of 3 and as someone who doesn't love spice, we could've tried a spice level of 4 or 5 because the 3 was pretty mild. Overall really yummy Thai place!

Wonton soup is a joke. $14 for 3 wontons and a ton of cabbage. Not even very good wontons either. Don't waste your money.

She's from Korea and lived many years in Los Angeles. Currently, she lives here in Phoenix. With our backgrounds, we know Authentic Thai Food. One bite, I was disappointed. The second bite, confirmed the taste was NOT authentic. Many complex ingredients were missing! Where was the tamarind subtle flavor? Where was the Kaffir Lime Leaves? Where was the fish sauce? Where was the thick gravy sauce? No use of cornstarch.... If you want Authentic Thai Food, please do not go to this restaurant. However, if you are a person who likes plain food, with no depth of Thai flavors, this is your place. My friend and I just played with our food after the second bite. Even the Thai Iced Tea tasted like a premixed drink that came from a carton. It was like a Chai Tea watered down by water and ice. I took the food home, hoping that I would be able to doctor it up. Nope! I didn't even bother to put it in the refrigerator and immediately place it in the trash. Very disappointed. As for the service, it was very questionable because no one even SAW that we went eating. Finally, after 15 minutes or so, I say our food was okay. I lied!! And asked for the check, like we wanted to escape an establishment that was based on a sham. The decor was nice and the location was quiet for an afternoon weekend. That should have been our clue to avoid the place. You can definitely get plain Americanized Thai food from this place.

Legitimately the worst Thai food I've eaten in Arizona. I am shocked at the number of good reviews…read morethey have. The pad Thai literally had zero flavor other than the chili they put on it. No lime, no tamarind, nothing but soggy, sad, sterile noodles and chili oil. The drunken noodles were slightly better because there was a hint of basil. No love, no flavor, nothing Thai about this garbage. The Deep Fried Veggies Rolls were obviously premade and microwaved. Garbage. The bbq pork fried rice was the only thing that was "ok". It barely qualifies as acceptable but it is way better than the noodle dishes. The fact that this place has so many positive reviews means that people either are being paid for reviews or have never had remotely decent Thai food in their lives. Stay away.

The servers were quick and polite an had the order ready to go when I arrived for pick up. There were plenty of seats, light music, and cozy lighting, definitely feels like authentic Thai food. Chicken Pad Thai (no tofu): 5/5 This one is the reason you come back. Perfect comfort balance of sweet/savory, chewy noodles that don't go weird in a takeout box, and solid chicken in every bite. If pad thai is your go-to order, this is a very safe (and very happy) decision. Pad See Ieww: 3.5/5 Not bad at all--still hits that cozy, savory noodle craving--but it didn't have the same, "I need this again tomorrow" magic as the pad thai. More of a good side character than the main event. Flavor just didn't hit as well as the pad Thai. Deep Fried Veggie Rolls: 3.5/5 Sauce is definitely what makes this dish! The outside was crunchy and inside was cooked perfectly, just not what you'd expect from a veggie roll. The flavor for me wasn't as full. Pro tip: order the chili sauce! It's the little add-on that turns "this is good" into "wait...why is this so much better now?" I'm already plotting a round two... and yes, the chili sauce will be coming home with me again.
