After contacting numerous companies, I realized the people who apply for pool cleaning jobs are kinda like those in food service...any lazy, brain dead person with no motivation can do it. I needed immediate help from someone KNOWLEDGEABLE & EXPERIENCED to come right out and resolve my pool concern so my grandkids could come over for Mother's Day weekend to swim, frolic and try to drown each other. Ash from the fires had turned my filter grids into bricks resulting in poor circulation and compromised the filtration of my pool. I contacted Stephen and he immediately responded. He first provided me guidance of what I could do on my own to save me a diagnostic fee. I appreciated this feedback. Unfortunately, my system still needed someone to fix it. He made an appointment for the following day and was prompt in arrival time. He uses an app that provide you an estimated time of arrival as well as his location on a map. It allowed me to plan for his arrival (this is something FedEx uses). He is well spoken and clean cut. His knowledge is the best I've had. He's very well-versed with Pentair systems. Not only did he review what was wrong with the system but he checked all other parts of our pool (lights, heat, salt system, fill,, drain) He took his time and trained me on what to look for. I wish that he repaired more than pools because I would hire him for everything. You will be very pleased if you hire him for a repair.

If I could give minus 1000 stars, I would…read more I am writing this so other homeowners are aware. This is my experience with CLEAN CHOICE POOL & SPA, and these are the facts. During routine pool service at my home, their employee opened my main water valve - that was closed for a good reason - without my permission while I had stepped away to Home Depot to buy a shower cartridge. When I returned, water was pouring into my garage. My home flooded from the top level down. One week before Christmas, EVERY room was water damaged and had to be demolished. When it happened, the employee called the owner on speakerphone and said he had made a "huge mistake," explaining what he had done. The owner responded, "Do not tell this to the lady," not realizing he was on speakerphone. That alone says it all. Instead of coming to assess the damage, he claimed that he was out of town and that he could not recall the name of his insurance carrier. From that moment on, they never showed up, neither the owner BOB, neither his son ADAM. I was left alone dealing with the consequences. What followed were more than 4 months of construction, two years of stress, a $5,000 deductible loss, and additional out-of-pocket expenses. Because I had to file through my own insurance, my homeowners policy was not renewed. In California, if you have a single water claim -- regardless of fault -- it is extremely difficult to obtain new coverage. To this day, I have been unable to secure a house insurance, and my mortgage has increased by $600 per month due to this lack of coverage. This experience has had serious financial and personal consequences for me. I have been fooled by their fake smiles and I regret it every day. Now you know and it is up to you to decide who you want to give your business to.

Recently, my tenants called and said the heater wasn't working. Matt came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained my options for either repairing the heater or replacing it. After discussing the pros and cons, I decided to replace the heater. Matt handled the installation and did an excellent job. The new heater is working great, and the entire process was smooth and professional. One thing I really appreciate is the detailed service reports he sends after each visit, including the water chemistry readings and updates on the pool's condition. As a property owner, it's nice to know exactly what's going on, especially when I don't live at the property. Matt is honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and easy to work with.
