The owner advised to leave the car overnight so he could check it when it starts first time. I left the car and next day he called me and said there was nothing wrong but because the engine was old, the oil rising up would make the rumbling sound and nothing had to be done. I took my car to A1 Japanese Autocare and the problem was found with the engine mounts that had to be replaced. Once it was done, no more rumbling sound. I suspect the AMA autoshop never examined my car. I wasted my time, paid for the Uber and was obviously lied to. My car is a 2017 and has a lot of miles on it, so things have been needing replaced as of late, which is to be expected on older models with a lot of mileage. The team at this auto shop have done, and continue to do amazing work on my car. Parts and labor are not cheap, regardless of where you go, not to mention car parts are all made with plastic nowadays. Still, the quality of parts and labor I receive here are excellent. I'm also impressed with their concern for my safety in being 100% certain the vehicle is completely safe and in perfect working order, testing and retesting, before I get in my car and drive off. While you'd expect that this is a given, you'd be surprised at some of the experiences I've had with 'other' mechanics! These gentlemen are honest and excel at auto repairs, having never failed to help me when the chips are seemingly down. I never, ever feel in any way over charged or taken advantage of, which has definitely happened to me at other auto shops. They have kindly saved me a lot of money and future aggrevation in repairs.
