I've been anxious to try the location that recently opened at city line. When looking at the menu online I noticed they advertise a promotion, and it's the first thing you see when going to the website (photo below). I tried to order two pizzas today (the promotion). It wasn't working so I figured I must be doing something wrong. I call the location and talk to the manager who explains they deactivated the promotion are are not honoring it, despite it being advertised on the website. Horrible and deceiving customer service. Update: downloaded app and tried the code per the instruction of management. Still no luck (pic included). I have used dozens of promotion codes before, it shouldn't be this difficult! read more

I placed an order. Received a notification it'll take almost 1 1/2 hours for pickup. I called right away to cancel my order the man who answered said ok then hung up. I called back 30 minutes later about my refund and an email confirmation it has been cancelled he said he hasn't processed it yet and hung up. 1 hour later I still don't have an email of cancellation and a refund. Update: whatever the "business owner" said is a lie. A notification said my order is ready for pickup. I called up to the location at 19:14 about my cancellation confirmation and refund and he said he still didn't get a chance to process it because it's only him and 2 other workers. read more

I called for a pickup order. 30 minutes later the store said their order system has been down for an hour! My order was lost and there were others in the store were told the same thing. The store manager said there was no one in the store could have answered my call because none of them speaks English! What? First time ordering here on Sunday and had a great experience. They made the wrong size at first so when they gave me my order, they gave me both the accidental order and the correct one. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes total. Everyone was very friendly and they had great customer service. I will definitely be ordering from this location again. We ordered the pineapple, jalapeño and bacon pizza with everything and added pepperoni. For dessert we had the cinnamon sugar donut type things. We flew in at midnight and were looking for a decent late-night pizza to get delivered to the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The Pizza was amazing! It got there hot, crust was good, not too greasy, delightfully crispy, it had the perfect amount of sweet, salty, and spice. Both the blue cheese ranch and the Sriracha ranch were great as a compliment to the pizza and the Donuts were also good. Can't speak for an in-person experience but at least for delivery, I would highly, highly recommend. GREAT JOB ZALAT! read more

I loved my Simple Basil pizza from Zalat. The crust is thin, but not too thin. It is also a very nice level of crispy. I prefer that to pizzas that just flop over when picked up. Their Srirancha/Ranch dip sauce that came with the pizza is heavenly. They also loaded me up with red pepper and parm cheese without even having to ask. No extra charge for that, ahem national chain I won't name. A warning that this is not really an eat in or quickly hop in and grab a pizza place. This is basically for takeout, so I suggest ordering in advance. I had to wait 20 minutes for my pizza, so I just waited in the parking lot as there is not much space inside. I was very sad when ZALAT in downtown Plano closed. When I found out that ZALAT was reopening in CityLine I jumped for joy! ZALAT is hands down my favorite pizza place with unique toppings, fantastic crust, and the BEST sauce (Sirancha)! I've been to the CityLine location twice since they have opened and have had two great experiences! They have been busy since opening so although the wait time is sometimes fairly long, the pizza is well worth the wait! Their Loaded Notato is hands down my favorite Za but we also love their Pineapple Express, Zealot, Pesto Veggie and Buffalo Chicken! read more

I ordered my meal online (45 minute wait) and came to the establishment when I was directed to. Upon entrance I was ignored for a while. When I was finally helped the cashier told me it would be another 10 minutes which did not bother me. During that wait I witnessed another customer come in and ask when their food would be ready. The cashier proceeded to tell them their food was not even made yet, then handed them one of my pizzas. They had me wait 15 more minutes to make me another pizza. The manager offered to recook the meal after I showed displeasure with the situation which I did not take because I did not feel like waiting another 45 minutes. This was very unprofessional and I had to wait like an hour to get pizza . Next time I'll just go to dominos. Manager seemed nice but didn't do anything to really correct the problem. They should have given me a refund on that pizza. Not worth the 75 dollars for 2 pizzas and 2 sides. I would rather have their food and amazing service than amazing food and their service. read more

This is our favorite pizza place around, by far! They never disappoint. Most recently, we ordered the Zealot, 18". The crust was thin, just as we like it, with a handmade quality to it. They're generous with toppings - a rarity. Most importantly, the ingredients are high quality and flavorful. We love their unique combinations and try different ones all the time. Also, at the Renner location, the GM and staff are friendly and helpful - they recently went out of their way to show kindness and patience when I was having issues with my debit card and holding up the line. Cityplace has a few of the worst places to eat. Zalat is usually really good. But went the other day and ordered didn't get a text for 30 min so I went to check and they had started to clean up and locked the doors I'm outside and they're just staring at me then go to the back.I was out there for a little while someone comes out and asks do you have a pick up finally. I tell them my name and they can't find the pizza then grab a random one with the lid open that had been sitting there and I get a text saying it's ready while he's putting stuff into the iPad. 36 minutes for 2 pizzas. One came out wrong and had to remake it. Pizza that was originally correct got to sit under the warmer for 20 minutes. End result is one cold pizza, one hot pizza and basically 40 minutes wasted. In addition, after coming in and out of the store with 2 small children to check on status 3 times the associate inside never offered to bring the pizzas to my car. No idea why they ask for a tip in the app when 0 customer service is offered. When asked for a refund due to having to leave with one cold pizza I was denied. Meanwhile they had no problem keeping the tip I had already given them when I initially placed the order. read more
