Bought my baby girl a bracelet and got her name engraved on it and I bought the insurance for the bracelet since it includes it to get resized. The bracelet kept unhooking and falling off so I took it in and they sent it out to get fixed. I received a call saying it's ready to be picked up. Went and picked it up and the lady tried to charge me even though it's covered with insurance then finally figured out it's covered. I put the bracelet on my baby girl and realized it fell off before we even walked out of the store. The customer service wasn't good and I can't even let my daughter wear her bracelet. I'm not even going to go through the trouble of sending it back out I'm taking it as a couple hundred dollar loss. I won't be going back there. read more

Came in about a month ago and picked out the perfect ring, she worked it out to where I got it resizes and back in 2days when they had already said it would be impossible to do, and I'm here again today needing to get the wedding band resized (wedding is Saturday) and she has once again worked her magic! Oh Nahiiid...Naheed...I am not sure how you pronounce her name but...I will never forget her. She ruined what dispite her bullahit still was a great moment in my life. My now fiancé and I had visited this Zales a few weeks before he bought my engagement ring. The manager Naheed helped us. She showed me a ring that I loved and that my boyfriend would eventually buy online. When my fiancé purchased all 3 rings and made 2 trips to pick them up he had 2 different experiences. He picked up the enhancer rings A week before the engagement ring. He was assisted by a male whom was very helpful explained the lifetime Zales warranty and how to maitain it. My fiancé was very pleased he expected the same treatment when he went in to pick up the actual engagement ring. Boy was he shocked. Naheed was the one who assisted him with picking up the engegmemt ring. He told me she became very snide and made rude remarks once she saw the ring he was picking up. She said it looked more like a promise ring and that I would not like it. She also told him it did not have a warranty...how is it possible that the enhancer rings which cost less then the engagement ring have a lifetime warranty and the main ring itself not be covered? My boyfriend was mortified and left the store. He called me and asked when i would be home. I headed home after work and when I walked in our apartment Ron was treating me lead me to the couch and proceeded to propose to me. Once we were done crying and I said yes he asked if I liked the ring...he went on to tell me his experience at Zales. He said "I know this isn't your dream proposal, and I was planning something special but I wanted to make sure it was the right ring and if it wasn't wanted to be able to exchange it for the right one. This woman ruined my special moment...made my boyfriend second guess himself and when I went to confront her she tried denying the whole thing. She did not apologize and had a smirk the whole time. I contacted the district manager and she was as unprofessional as the store manager. Maybe it's this location but you can believe I won't be getting my ring cleaned or inspected at this location! So my fiance just told me he got off the phone with the "manager" who told him "oh..the ring wasn't actually sent on the 13th. That's just what we told you". I am so angry i could scream. We have dealt with nothing but lies and empty promises from this location. Came here with my now fiancé so shop for engagement rings. Before Valentine's Day 2020. We were assigned a male associate to help us with our purchase. What I didn't like were the rude and condescending comments that kept making to my fiancé. He kept saying things like, "is she your side chick." And "so you're buying a ring for your REAL GF?" We were there for over an hour and he kept making the same, unfunny & rude comments. It took away from the whole living experience of buying an engagement ring with my then, BF. My boyfriend also found it insulting and didn't know why he kept making such dumb comments that had nothing to do with use ring shopping. I think the male staff needs to be retrieved on customer service & should know how to talk to customers. The mall staff was an over weight, Latino male in his 20'a it early 30's. I've been spending a lot of time in this Zales lately and I'm a big fan of the ladies who work here. My husband bought my engagement ring here, so we came back and bought the wedding band too. The wedding band I picked out was super wack and cheap. But I didn't care because I was paying for a wedding at the time, so a cheap wedding band fit the bill. On our honeymoon in Kauai, I woke up one morning to find that my wedding band had SPLIT in the back! What the heck?! So I took it back to Zales to get it re-soldered. Even though it was past their 100 day warranty, they covered the soldering since I had only worn the band for 1 week. Sure enough, about 6 weeks later, the band looks like it's ready to break AGAIN! This time I took it in to take advantage of the Zales trade-in program. You can take your old diamond jewelry with your receipt from Zales and trade it in for the full purchase price toward another ring. I traded up to a pretty enhancer that goes great with my e-ring and is much sturdier. The staff and supervisors were always polite through the many times I stopped by the store to look at rings, pick them up from sizing/repair, etc. They do a hard sell sometimes, like on the protection plans, but you can just say no. I'm sure they are required to do it. read more

This is THE Zales to go to! This is the store I have been coming to the past 15 years, always a pleasant experience. But a few weeks ago I went to the Lakewood store, I happen to be in that area with my sister, I was in the mood to spend! It didn't happen. I was browsing on my own for like 20 min, without anyone even approaching me. When a lady did, she was not helpful at all and acted as if I was bothering her. I said forget it and left. Yesterday I had no plans at all of making a purchase, my mom wanted to go get a pendant, so I took her. As soon as we walked in, Jeanette was so helpful to my mom, greeting her and getting her what she wanted. I started to browse, I was looking for a particular bolo bracelet but I didn't find the one I was looking for. Reese began to help me look at different items, asking about styles I liked and whatnot, we conversated, she was being super sweet to my 8 year old daughter who had a million questions and stories, never acting annoyed. She showed me a beautiful ring that was at a great price I couldn't resist. She actually listened to what I like. Actually both Reese and Jeanette were great listeners. The piece was so pretty, my mom actually bought my sister one too for her upcoming birthday. Even my daughter ended up with a pendant. A big thank you to those two! Great job! See you soon! Got a call that it was ready, but turned out it wasn't. We got those calls 3 times. Ridiculous. We had to adjust our schedules because of that incident. This team really took care of us at this location! We came in ready to exchange a wedding ring for a different size, but we had multiple issues at another location so we were weary to come in. Miguel really listened to what we wanted and our full situation. He was able to call the other store to get our information and then walked us through how we would go about changing out the ring and applied our new warranty. While my husband was working with Miguel, I was able to talk to Carol whom was very attentive while she helped cleaned my rings and then showed me some earring options for upgrading. She throughly explained all of our options and wrote it all out for us. She mentioned she will be able to call us when the next deal comes up. I just went to this location for their Valentines special. The staff that helped me is named Harmana or Harmala and she helped me today. To start, I said to please give me 4 pendants only and she suggested to get more. I said now but she kept insisting. She finally helped me check out with the 4 I wanted and charged my card. I saw on the charge for donation for $1 for the St. Judes which she did not ask me if I wanted to donate but I didn't want to make a fuss so I charged the total with the donation included. I don't mind donating but after, she tells me, " I did not charge $1 when I should have. I can't charge your card twice so can you give me cash or debit or credit?" I don't know why I believed her but I gave her $1 in cash. That was my fault when I should of asked her for the actual breakdown of that $1 was coming from. Anyway. She is pushy, can be rude and she puts donations into your charges without your acknowledgement. If you go here and you have her as your sale associate, double check your order and charges. Don't have her charge you over like she did with me. read more

Miguel went above and beyond on a bridal set I ordered. I went in on a Monday hoping to have the set by the weekend in order to propose to my now fiance. We had to order the ring through the online system to apply my discount code. We ordered the ring and had an estimated date of receipt by Friday. Come Thursday still no shipping notification. Received a call from Miguel saying he would go to another store to pick up the same ring. Had the ring in hand by Friday as promised. Wish not to give any star. Terrible place to get your engagement ring resized. We bought the ring from another place which doesn't do resizing, so went to zales. But OMG they took months and first time they did the wrong size and sent again for correct size. They work with 3rd party for repairs and resize You know what? I see different colored small diamond on side of the ring and the finish of the ring was not even. Took another month to fix it but my ring still has the small side diamond with some color which looks so weird with set of beautiful quality diamonds. They kept saying it's carbon and their attitude changed. I hate this place. Will never go there for resizing or for purchase. These people are hopeless. Didn't have the greatest experience here, and hope this letter will help your associates in the future. My soon to be fiance and I visited the store on the 4th of July this year, looking for an engagement ring. We are both verrry casual people, and I assume because we did not look like we had money to spend, we did not get the attention others may have. I had seen a ring online (which I was aware was ONLY available online), but I thought they may have something similar in the store. When we walked in, there were two employees standing near one of the counters chatting. We received no greeting or acknowledgement that we were even there. After we looked through some of the cases (not knowing where to begin), one of the ladies briefly stopped her conversation long enough to say, "If there's something you want to see, just let me know." A bit irked, I mentioned the ring online and was going to show her a picture that I had on my phone. Before I could explain that I was aware that they would not have that exact ring, she cut me off saying, "nope we don't sell anything like that." She did show us a couple rings after prodding her further, but at this point I was kind of over her attitude. My boyfriend and I left the store, and took our business down to Ben Bridge in the same mall, and received much better service, and consequently bought my ring there. I hate to complain, and only do so when something leaves a lasting memory. This was supposed to be a happy time and memorable time, and it just ended up being frustrating. read more

Great place to come if you're looking to give your Christmas gifts in February. Purchased a ring online for my girlfriend and brought it in store to get it resized. They quoted me 2 weeks which is fine. 5 weeks later I've already had multiple conversations with the store asking about my product and no one seems to know because I've gotten so many different answers. Someone told me they had to wait for me to give an approval. They never contacted me for one and that was in week 3 that I apparently "finally gave an approval." So we continued waiting. They continually told us they would call us back with info and never received one phone call. Finally, we had enough. So we went in today to return everything. The ring, matching bracelet, warranty--everything. As she processed the return guess what she pulled out? The ring. It's been sitting there for a week. So we talked to the associate a few days ago and ASKED HIM TO CHECK-- he lied. It was there. He didn't even check. This place is a joke. I run a customer service team and these associates aren't fit enough to sweep up after we close. Managers, if you're reading these reviews then I think you need to understand that you're the problem. When your team can successful piss off clients enough to come on here and write nothing but bad reviews something needs to be changed. It's you. read more

This is one of the worst zales store I have ever encountered. I had an insurance approved claim from this store and I went there to upgrade the claim.
