I came during my lunch and I ordered the Tri-Tip Shawarma plate and it was a lot of food. I ended up having left overs for the next day. The meat paired well with the garlic sauce and hummus. Yesterday I had an embarrassing moment where I thought I threw my phone away in the trash can outside this location. I went inside to ask for gloves to look through the trash can but Tyler immediately offered to help. The trash was pretty full since it was around 6pm but he looked through it so thoroughly for almost ten minutes with zero complaints. My phone ended up being stuck between the passenger seat and I was absolutely mortified that Tyler scoured through the trash on my behalf. When we found the phone Tyler said, "Well I'm glad it wasn't in the trash after all." I work in the service industry as well and situations like that can test your patience but he remained positive and pleasant. I came in and the restaurant was packed with people waiting for food and dining in. I told the cashier that I was here to pick up an order and she told me 5 minutes. The LBC branch is modern, clean, and offers the same delicious classics as other Zankou locations. The family meal is such a great deal which includes a whole chicken, two large sides, pickles, and pita. The harissa and garlic sauces are amazing!! I'm not much of a white meat fan, but the roast chicken is always moist regardless if you're eating a thigh or breast. Service was fast and friendly, with team members roaming around the dining room cleaning and keeping things tidy.
