I booked Zano's for my wedding hair...less than thrilled. I was quoted $110 on the phone. Somehow it was $150 when I checked out for 55 minutes of minimal styling services! The girl had NO experience with hair extensions. This place advertises WEDDING hair. This would be an occasion to use extensions, right? She didn't ask if I liked the front before she started pinning it up. Looked nothing like the picture I brought it. Then she didn't spray it when she was done. I had to ask her to before leaving. This was also after the girl in the next chair was shooting the front of my hair with her hair dryer past her client. I just had the best experience with Kourtney and Sami! This has to be one of the best colors I've ever had in my life, and I had quite a few! Kourtney looked at me, asked what I was thinking, made a suggestion and Flawlessly executed! I love the depth and detail she put into every strand and she is also one of the nicest people ever. After Kourtney worked her magic she sent me over to Sami. She dried my hair and got to work! I ended up with a cut that perfectly flatters my new color and she created all this movement in my normally flat hair. She had me check it and even while I was playing with (like a crazy person) it feel just right and feels awesome!! Sami is also a Sweetheart! I've always gone to Jean for haircuts (she's the ONLY person I trust to cut my hair now!) and for color i've seen Mia (who's no longer there, sad), Amanda, and most recently Olivia. All amazing amazing amazing ladies that I most definitely recommend. Yeah their prices are high, but they will make sure you're completely satisfied with your services...you just have to speak up and let your stylist know!! Besides -- it's fully disclosed what you're going to have to pay before your services are done so if you think they're way overpriced, don't go/complain after about pricing? I had been going to this location for about two years and everything was wonderful. However, about 6 months ago I got a pretty drastic haircut from long to short and it was not at all what I had asked for, not to mention it was a horrific cut altogether. Pretty much non-fixable unless she cut off another 2 inches and I wasn't ready for that. Fast forward 3 months later and I come in for a fixed haircut and a half foil; highlights. Cut was alright, coloring was awful. I'm talking early 2000s skunk highlights. Bad. I'm naturally blonde, my hair lifts easy in color. Had my hairdresser not left me halfway through my foil to talk to another customer, for at least 20 minutes, perhaps this review would be different. Thereafter, I can tell she's surprised as soon as she's pulling off the foils. She knew it looked bad and didn't do anything about it until I said something. My appointment was at 3:45pm and I was the last one sitting in the chair at 9pm. Now, I'm left with a bad haircut that "needs to grow out in order to be fixed" and a shit dye job that I'll have to wait to grow out for at least a year. Not to mention, this place is pricey! It's trashy and tacky to allow your employees to have hand-written notes with their cashapp accounts and "cash tips preferred" written on a ripped piece of paper in a cheap picture frame. Bite me. I'll be happy to take my business elsewhere. Save your scalp, go somewhere else. read more

After an employee at Zanos completely fried off my virgin hair in March of 2021, I should have known to never come back. Since then I have gotten highlights and treatments done at Zanos with an incredible hairstylist. After about a year and a half of blonde I decided to go back to my natural color. When this color was applied it was nearly black when I had asked for a honey brown. Not only was I met with disrespect while I was upset, but later the manager called my personal number with extreme hostility. Me and the hairstylist agreed I would not pay for the service. He asked me not to return. He was incredibly rude to an 18 year old girl. Luckily I was not planning on returning. I was a very loyal customer to Zanos for the past year and a half. Do not come to this place if you are looking for excellent customer service. (Many hairstylists here are incredible, this is about the poor management and horrible customer service.) Management also overbooks their talented stylists making it a very stressful workplace. I would sit in the bowl for hours while my hair stylist worked on multiple clients due to their overbooking. I started getting my hair done at Zano a little over a year ago and I have never been happier with my hair:) I've had Colleen, Selene, Karla, and Tameka all do my hair and they have always taken the time to figure out what I want and make it look just like that. I've also come in feeling so embarrassed about how icky my hair gets over time, but instead of making me feel that way, both Karla and Tameka found the right treatment (Malibu) to make it look alive again. Made an appointment at Zano's on a whim after driving past on my way to Target, I was way overdue for a haircut and decided to give them a shot. I booked with Gina and couldn't be happier! My hair was past my waist and is super thick, I only cut it about once a year so it's always a little nerve wracking whenever I do. Gina took her time, explained everything she was doing and cut it to the exact length I requested (chopped about 8-10" off) My last few haircuts were pretty bad so finally finding someone who could handle my hair was a relief. On top of the great cut, Gina gave me the best, relaxing hair wash everrrrr. She could be a masseuse. So happy to have finally found a salon and stylist I can come back to regularly. We went here with my sister's bridal party and I was supremely disappointed. I only got a polish change in hopes to save a little cash, and they charged me $18 to paint my nails, and then $18 to paint my toes!! With tip that came out to a little over 2 dollars a digit...and the kicker is that I brought my own nail polish. The service wasn't bad, but no polish change is worth that kind of moolah. To seal the negative yelp review, at the last minute they tried to overcharge the BRIDE-as if she didn't just bring in 7 girls to get overpriced manicures. 3 days later, every single one of my nails was chipped. I have been going to Zanos for 3 years now and absolutely love it! Lindsey does a fantastic job with waxing- my eyebrows look amazing after her. Jemima gives wonderful massages. If you get the massage packages, they are $50 for a 50 minute massage. Karissa does a great job cutting my hair and is very efficient. Overall, I am always satisfied when I go to Zanos. On the down side, they are a bit pricier than other salons, which is why I docked them a star. And they don't seem to run as many specials as they used to, such as 20% off if you came in during a certain week and buy $200 in giftcards and get $25 free, etc. All their deals seem to be targeted towards teens, which does make me sad. read more

This review is for my daughter's cut on July 22. I paid ahead of time and waited in the car because I couldn't wait in the salon for her. Which was fine because she's been there before and it's always been great. She came out to the car 5 minutes later saying she was done. Huh? No washing her hair, no blow dry, no styling. Not even spraying her hair with water to wet it! Just a dry cut and an uneven one at that. It was $44 -for the teen cut with 20% tip for that. Just crazy. I never received a text, email or told in person when I went to pay ahead of time that this would be the case. I saw a previous review in which the salon said she should have been texted. The salon/spa I go to is washing, drying, styling so it never occurred to me these things won't happen. Will never go back again. read more

Kourtney has to be the best colorist I have experienced in my almost 20 years of getting my color done. Every time she asks me what I'm thinking and makes her recommendations, HOW DO YOU PULL THE EXACT SHADE OUT OF MY MIND?? I love it when it's done and three months later when I am coming back I still am happy with it. She creates the best color I have ever seen. Sami is my go to girl for Cuts, I have really fine hair that just like to tangle and create almost like a helmet if you aren't careful. I've been coming here for years and they used to be a 5 star, but their new COVID fees are way out of line. $35 extra for color and you can't even see what color it is because of no blow dry. $5 extra for all other services. With a hair cut I her no shampoo, no blow dry, no style and pay more than I did before. Bad decision! For more money it's the worst cut I've ever had because without the blow dry there could be no touch up or correction of what I wanted. I have been going to Zano's for over a year. I was recommended by a friend. Up until yesterday, everything was great! Unfortunately, my extension stylist did not book enough time for me to get my color processed and my hair blown dry by my colorist and therefore did not have time to move up my extensions. Instead of figuring out how to take care of my services, she rudely told me she didnt have time. The lady at the front desk who checked me out also told me its too bad and tried to blame my colorist. So whose problem is it now that I have a loose weft? Apparently mine! I will never go back to Zano's. I should never have been aware that there was a scheduling issue, much less have to walk out without completed services. Olivia Morrow is amazing and I will follow her anywhere. I really enjoyed this salon! I only started going here because I worked next door, but I must admit, I'm addicted. Its a little pricey, but perfect for pampering yourself. Its a very classy atmosphere, but everyone is really down to earth. Lara gave me the best haircut I've ever gotten and Lindsey did a great job with my eyebrows. Lima gave me a to-die for pedi. And all the staff is very helpful and cheery. However, the price is very high. I pay around 60 for my haircut and around 75 for a signature pedi. But its well worth it! read more
