This is such an adorable restaurant located in a cute historic area. The vibes were fantastic for Sunday brunch. There was a Jazz Band playing plus the food was great. It gave me a 90s/Gilmore girls feel. We will definitely be back and I will be bringing friends here.

Average food, and $10 to get bread with a little bit of oil and no cheese is not acceptable. The cappuccinos are very, very, small .

This review is for the pizza and bolognese pasta-all great…read more My family shared the lamb pizza and Greek pizza and were so surprised how huge the slices were! Each giant slice was the equivalent of 2-3 slices combined. The flavor on both pizzas was very good and the lamb was not "gamey" or overpowering in flavor. Our little nieces loved the bolognese pasta, and I tried the sauce on it, and it was tasty. We ordered it all to go.

I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again, but for what it is (a two-location only, not really a…read morechain restaurant) it was a-okay. We were there for a late lunch, so we basically had the run of the place. Our server was very sweet, non-intrusive, and--though she did forget about a caesar salad until reminded after entrees were served--overall did a great job. Drinks were refilled promptly, etc. The food? Eh, it was fine. The garlic styx (why do they spell it this way, ARGH) were pizza dough, not actually "bread," and holy CRAP was there a lot of garlic on them. I mean entire cloves coating it. I don't mind garlic so I wasn't mad, but it was a bit much. The side of marinara was adequate in both taste and volume, but tasted jarred. I got the 10-layer eggplant. Now, I love eggplant parm and I see where they were going with this, but it was just SO cheesy. I love cheese and marinara and eggplant and all that jazz, but this singular dish probably contained 2 lbs (no joke) of cheese condensed into a 5"x5" square. I know there was eggplant in there (finely sliced, like on a mandolin thin). I know there was sauce in there (there was some swirled around the dish). However, all I could taste was...cheese. This is the first, and likely will be the last, time I ever complain about too much cheese. Practical notes: I didn't see any super dinginess like other reviews state, but I also didn't go to the bathroom. Your mileage may vary. Parking is a niiiiiiiightmaaaaaaare even when the restaurant isn't busy. Make sure your parallel parking skills are up to date or try and squeeze into one of the lots. Portions are large, so order accordingly. If you order something with cheese and are even remotely sensitive to dairy, bring your Lactaid and triple the dose. NOTE: this is not actual medical advice.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!

I can't wait to visit and try more. I am not sure if the bread is the same but the bread catered was just basic garlic bread. Not bad but nothing special. Did have a nice crust on it.

Tonight I had chicken parmesan and it was dreadful. The chicken cutlet was obviously frozen, likely microwaved and barely even warm. It was pale and completely without that crunchy texture you want. The "cheese" looked and tasted more like a spattering of wall paper paste. In fact the entire dish tasted no better than a can of spaghetti-O's. I understand that the restaurant is sourcing frozen products to cut costs and reduce prep time, but this is inexcusable. At least bake the chicken in an oven until its done. I do this at home all the time with frozen foods. Just a few years ago this same dish was much better, and it was much larger. I forced myself to eat this slop but was actually still hungry afterward. I would have been embarrassed to serve this to someone and charge them for it. School cafeteria food is better than this. I won't be back for a very long time, if ever. If this is the best they can do, they may as well shut it down. I just hope the owner reads my review and decides that this is not the way.

I ordered the thin crust "Beekeeper" and my wife built her own. We also tried the cheese sticks. Got our drinks and grabbed a seat. Plenty of TVs and nice music, sort of a sports bar type feel. Cheese sticks came out first. Thicker crust. Lots of melted cheese and garlic. Served with a warm marinara. These were excellent. Had the marinara been dappled on top I would have called this a great "grandma" pie! Pizza came out fairly quickly. Not super thin, but a light cracker type crust. Cupping pepperoni was crisp and flavorful. Cheese was smooth and rich. Honey drizzle gave a hint of sweet. Basil should have been placed after the cook but was still good. Undercarriage was a little light but still crisp. My wife got the Alfredo base with pepperoni and pineapple. Her words "I have found my new favorite pizza place!" Pizza felt like a Bar style. The chicken and spinach filling is delicious and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The Caesar salad has a nice twang to it and it was very well chilled which I really prefer. The Bruschetta is my favorite appetizer and i love the olives with the balsamic glaze and cheese, it's different but very tasty. Not really a fan of the scampi or the angel hair pasta dishes since those seem to be overcooked each time, but the cannelloni really did it for me this time. The service is great, drinks were constantly being filled and wasn't in a rush to order. Each waitress/waiter has been nice and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, laid back, nothing fancy, but just a nice casual dining experience. On super busy night it can be a bit loud, but if you go early for lunch or their early bird dinner specials it's perfect.
