My girlfriend loves Zara. We usually sometimes shop at the locations in Beverly Hills or Costa Mesa in our area. But since I was at a meeting in the area, I decided to look at some stuff for Christmas that I could get her for Cyber Monday. Although she does not celebrate the Holiday, but I am still getting her something, and we will sort our decisions out. But anyway, I saw some clothes that I want to get her anyways. A Century City staple for years. This Zara used to be my go-to spot to find new releases but since the app has been developed and gotten so much better I find that Zara stores mostly showcase a more selected styles but you can often find a larger selection online. Also sizes aren't often the full scale or range available (if you're petite you're generally in luck). Pickup of online orders in store is pretty convenient. Employees are generally friendly but understandably that's harder during the big sales as you definitely get lots of people returning things from online purchases and it becomes a madhouse. Clothing has gotten more expensive over time and you can see that for sure in the Zara prices. I've tended to wait now for their semi annual sales for any pieces because I can add some good items for better prices, especially if you go towards the end of the sale with more markdowns. Hit and miss on sizing but depending on what you're prioritizing for saving money or needing something quick! read more

The customer service really sucks at this location! Beware that whatever you buy from here is not damaged and teach your children not to trust this big name stores. Please double check your items because if you buy them damage they will not accept the return and blame you for it! My 14 year old son purchased some flare jeans trusting that Zara sells only high end items at reasonable price $97.99 to our surprise my son's jeans had a tear and i noticed when he walked away wearing them for the first time! Insane attitude from the manager and employees here. Super unhelpful. They started rushing people out of their store 40 minutes before close. I asked a girl for help finding a size on a pair of jeans, and she essentially rolled her eyes at me and told me they had them on the floor but would not show me where. I found the correct size on a mannequin, and the manager refused to sell them to me. This ZARA is on the bottom floor of Westfield Century City Mall and it is quite a large store. I know a lot of people love ZARA. I am lukewarm with the brand. Every time I walk into a ZARA I really try to find something to love. I like the idea of trendiness and affordability. I'm always looking for a good deal and I love cute clothes. Maybe one day I'll find something here to change my mind but, for now, I'm not a fan. I went this past Saturday to look for some work clothes. I expected the store to be busy since it was Saturday. What I didn't expect was to be yelled at by a Zara employee in the changing room. I was waiting in line for about 20 mins and noticed that they had both sides of the changing room open. I noticed the employees weren't guiding anyone to the open rooms so when I saw a room open I immediately went it. As I was closing the door, an older woman employee yelled at me to get out of the room because the right size was closing. She could have nicely said that they were shutting down one side of simply guide me to one of the rooms on the left. I rather just shop online than come back to this store. read more

Most horrible customer service I just wish they all get fired there. This morning I decided I'd give this location another chance after a year of not shopping here cause I had the most terrible and disrespectful shopping experience. I went to the store by myself and picked out some clothes to try. When I got my fitting rooms, I tried on a few things and the last one was a pair of jeans that turned out to be a little to small on me. So I decided to go back in and get the right size. I left the drape to the fitting room closed and ran outside to get what I needed since it was right next to the fittings. And not even 10 seconds ago I see a woman going through my pants. The fitting room woman was extremely rude attitude all over the place running her mouth no one told her anything and she was running her mouth. Horrible customer service! A young lady with extremely long fingernails and a nasty attitude refused to complete my return, and when I asked her why. She refused to give me an answer. When I asked for her name, she stated that it's CA law not to give out her name and then proceeded to say that she was uncomfortable because I asked for her name after she refused my return. When I requested a supervisor to assist thoroughly, the supervisor assisted with completing the return. However, the supervisor was just as nasty and rude--the worst experience of my life. I called customer service and was informed that their staff was supposed to give out their name and provide quality customer service; he immediately apologized and assisted me with moving forward with my complaint against Zara staff and the supervisor at the time. No salespersons on available to help me find merchandise in my size. Despite this I made selections and went to a 25 minute wait for an available cashier. The cashier who assisted me must hate her job. I bought an expensive leather garment that she rolled up like a rag and then asked if I wanted to pay for a bag. When I declined she pushed the pile of unfolded clothes over to me. To make a point I stood there folding my purchases. The cashier asked me to step aside. Visited during their summer sale and while I left with a good haul, I was annoyed with my store experience. - Not enough staff manning the registers. Despite it being the weekend and the customer lines exceeding 20+ people, there were only 3 of the 5 registers being used. - Lines at the fitting rooms were equally, if not more, long. The entire right side of the fitting rooms were unused and vacant (I wish I took a photo!). Likely because of understaffed availability? - Disorganized racks. Sunday was better but Saturday was such a mess. In short, zara: figure out how to appropriately staff your stores everyone else: avoid coming on weekends 10-4pm if you can. Also, I wouldn't necessarily recommend shopping online because Zara's sizing is very inconsistent. read more

Huge selection of women wear They have great sales and limited offer The practice social distancing and they announce it on speaker to remind costumers about wearing mask and keeping a part from each other. The absolute rudest encounter. I had an armful of clothes and was ready to checkout but decided to put everything down and walk out after this. This happens on 9/14/21 at around 2:50 pm (in case store management cares to know.) I was trying on a jacket in the section to the right of the cashier's desk in the woman's section. A young woman that works there, short, brown hair comes and YELLS at me that I can't try the jacket on there but that I'm only allowed to try any clothes on, even a jacket, in the fitting room. That doesn't even make sense, it can't be for covid because it's not like we're not allowed to try it on at all. Also, what are all the full length mirrors for through the floor? To check what I wore into the store? I don't know what new rule this is, but regardless, it seems wholly unnecessary to chastise customers by yelling at them about it in the middle of the store. Don't get me wrong I really like Zara's clothing, but the customer service and return policy and process of returning is the WORST. Like it's HORRIBLE!. We had the Receipt to return an item, and Zara still gave us problems and a hard time. Zara's stores are also very messy and while that is the fault of the customers, it can still be cleaned and organized by the people working there. I don't see such big messes at other clothing stores so clearly it's not just the customers. It just makes me like Zara so much less than I would otherwise.
