We had the Receipt to return an item, and Zara still gave us problems and a hard time. Received a defective material coat that I only wore once/did not wash. The material was turning like into small balls all around the middle and all the inside. I purchased exactly a month ago so I called customer service before coming to the store because I know how they are about the 30 day return policy. They let this store know I was coming in and bringing the coat. I came in and I can understand all the other comments with one star/rude staff. I was attended by manager Laura who was extremely rude and not wanting to help me even tried to dismiss me since she had not received anything from customer service. She said the coat looked very worn and she had the same one insinuating I was lying or something. I told her that I was calling them again and they told me they resent an email to the store and after a long wait I was able to process my return. For future reference always ask for an incident number prior to coming to avoid any of the rude staff here. read more

Ever since the original creator of Zara passed away, I feel the brand struggling. However, I love their clothes, in general although it's harder to find that diamond in the rough now because there are so few. One has to be a seasoned shopper with the eye of the tiger, which I am, to walk in, zero in on the gems, purchase and get the heck out of the store. Don't waste time trying on or dealing with floor staff. I find the fact that they are now charging for bags APALLING, GROSS, GREEDY, DISGUSTING. I'd never been to Zara's before and I don't think I'd ever heard of it until now. I was browsing the shops on the Westfield app and that's how I learned about this store. I was mainly looking for casual shirts to wear with the gazillion cardigans I have. I spotted one online that I really liked and called the store to see if they had it. The person who answered said there was one left but that they don't do holds. I rushed over to try and snag it and was very pleased with the efforts of two employees who helped me find what was literally the last one. The sales are great and I like how they have large signs to help you easily locate items by price range. However, when clothes look very fashionable and at the same time are very cheap, I tend to raise an eyebrow at the quality. So I would mainly shop here for very casual items like shirts, hoodies, and lounge wear, which they have plenty of. Most of the employees were pleasant and helpful, and given how popular this place seems to be, it was pretty well organized. The only problem I saw was the lack of air conditioning. The store was very crowded and very hot, and the dressing room was sweltering, which made the process of trying on clothes pretty miserable, I overheard lots of people complaining about how hot it was. By the time I was done, my makeup, eyeliner and everything had sweated off and there was nothing I could do but walk around looking busted since I'd left makeup bag in my car. Sounds funny, but I wasn't laughing at all, hopefully they'll take care of this issue soon. read more

One would know that while shopping in certain areas you may be treated a certain way. However shopping at the Beverly Hill malls Zara for instance you should be treated with gilded gloves. However that was not my experience whatsoever the other day. My party and I were discussing the extreme weight because I wanted to pay half cash half credit card. Why was my wait over 30 minutes long? All of a sudden the cashier interrupted my private conversation and said if you don't like the wait you can talk to my manager. Unbelievable that she would tune in to my conversation some 15 feet away from her. Very very unprofessional yes, I did get upset. I wanted to speak to her manager at that point. But when I asked to speak to the manager the cashier became irate with me and she told me she didn't know where her manager was. I asked three separate times to speak to her manager and three separate times while laughing with the other cashier, she told me she didn't know where her manager was. I then yelled out in the store; I wanted to speak with her manager. All of a sudden her manager showed up. Sadly, I will never again step in the Beverly Hills Zara again. Was told at 6:45pm on a Sunday that the fitting room is closed, likely for the day because they're short staffed. The store closes at 8pm... There were people trying clothes on, as you'd expect, especially on a Sunday at a busy mall. I asked if it happens often and was told by a fitting room attendant (who was polite) that yes because they're often short staffed. I asked to speak to the manager. A young woman with long blond hair confirmed their fitting room was closed for the day. I was incredulous. She said with an attitude, "We can close the fitting rooms at any time," as if I had asked a strange question as a customer... I said, you can but is it good business? She got irritated and said she wasn't gonna argue with me. I asked for her name but she started walking away. I repeated my request again, and asked if she had a name tag. She wouldn't give me her name, and as far as I could see, she was not wearing a name tag or even a tag identifying her to be a manager. She threatened calling security on me as I was repeating my question what her name was. If there's someone from the corporate office of Zara reading this, I need to speak to you. This is unacceptable by any measure. Will try contacting the corporate office but considering the kind of corporate culture this "manager" displayed, I doubt I will get anywhere. Long story short, I had a pair of pants from here that tore after 2 wears and was sitting in my car for over a month to be exchanged because I threw away the receipt when I wore them the first time, and never had time to call customer service until two days ago (they work in eastern time) to retrieve my receipt. I loved these pants and bought them work as we have a strict dress code. When I went to make the exchange today finally, they let me do it even though it had been a couple months since I bought them. Poor customer service. I purchased pants two weeks ago and wore them twice and then the inseem stitching already started to fall apart. When I brought the item in to exchange (note, I wanted an exchange; wasn't even asking to be refunded), they said their rules is that they can't exchange because I cut off one of the 4" tags on the inside of the pants (because who wants a 4" strip scratching you on the inside of your pants). They could have easily just exchanged and had a happy customer. Instead, they chose to throw the book at me and now they have an annoyed customer and damaged reputation. read more

I love their style, because they have great clothes. The management is horrible, as well as the worst customer appreciation! Everyone working there is as rude as all get out. It's like all the employees that work here took a "how to be rude af course" before starting. There is no way they don't teach them to be nasty to customers. The store managers are the worst. They wouldn't even give me a bag to put the items I picked up from my online order and I had to carry the huge box around the mall until I was able to get to Nordstrom and got a free bag with no purchase necessary. An employee literally told me they aren't letting people try on clothes because they are making so much money since the lines for returns are out the door and people would jus rather waste $50-$100 then sit in line for over an hour.
