The Good: * Catering available * Reservations and waitlist available through the Yelp app * Dog-friendly outdoor dining * Friendly service * Prices are not bad, especially given the area; ±$50 for two for lunch is reasonable these days. * Masala Fries were crackalicious, and we couldn't stop eating them. Whatever spice blend they use is terrific and addictive. * Garlic Naan was also fantastic and came out piping hot. After a few minutes, he kindly came back and provided us with cold bottles of water, which we appreciated. I would highly recommend that the owner consider installing air conditioning or fans for the comfort of both customers and employees. I was apparently assumed to be intoxicated and was treated accordingly. I understand that the staff may not have known what I was going through, and I can understand why someone might misunderstand a person's condition. But there is a huge difference between being concerned about someone and humiliating them based on an assumption. You never know what someone is going through. A person walking through your door looking for a job could be hungry, exhausted, sick, homeless, struggling financially, or dealing with a personal crisis. In my case, I had not eaten for four days and was desperately looking for work. What hurt the most was not being turned away from the job. I can accept that. What I cannot accept is being made to feel like I was less of a human being because of an assumption about me. I hope the management remembers that every person who walks through their doors deserves to be treated with basic respect. Sometimes, a little compassion can mean much more to someone than you realize. I left Zareen's feeling humiliated rather than helped. No one should be made to feel ashamed when they are already struggling just to survive.
