Stumbled across this place after discovering Lanikai Juice closed next door. We decided to share…read moreand ordered a regular Sunset shave ice. This place is the real deal. I was always a fan of Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha. Super sad when they closed some years back! Let me just say Island Shave Ice & Creamery is my new favorite! Sunset is the perfect blend of Strawberry, Pineapple, Banana - love the flavors, plus we upgraded to add Dole whip ice cream. Their mochi is the real kine mochi balls, super soft, and offsets the sweetness right when you need it! Grateful for the generous number of mochi balls. I peeped the ice cream and it looked creamy soft. Might have to order a pint to go next time since I'm pretty much a sucker for their shave ice now. I might try other flavors but already sold on the Sunset. The service is great, they even made sure to acknowledge us since they were still finishing up another order when we walked in. That is so rare these days and much appreciated! Love the intentionality behind the menu and the service here and will be sure to continue supporting this business. Divine timing today!

Flavors: Mango (good), Peach (awesome, but too little cuz its just a thin strip wedged between 2 flavors), lilikoi (horrible... tasted like cough syrup... ). The portions are decent sized for the price. My friends had a Mango Shave Ice with condensed milk, mochi and ice cream (he loved it) and a chocolate hazelnut ice cream (whcih she said was good) but wasn't very satisfying maybe because she wanted Halo Halo only to find out its not available when we got to the counter to order. Since its a order and pick up at counter type of self service place we didn't really have an opinion on the service, but the staff at counter was nice enough. Overall, it was a nice cozy little place with air-conditioned indoor seating as well as benches outside. Plenty of parking in the lot and surrounding area when we went, maybe because it was during down time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to hangout somewhere to cool off during this crazy Super HOT El Niño summer.

The portions are very generous, and I love that the food feels both satisfying and nourishing, so I never feel guilty indulging. I'll definitely keep coming back again and again. They sometimes have live performers, which adds such a nice touch to the overall experience. The service is always great, and I also appreciate Island Vintage's rewards program--such a nice perk for returning customers who enjoy their food and drinks. Lox of bagel was delicious and it came with side of salad. I usually get their keto plate or their island style plate and their very generous with their portions. But all their dishes are ONO! You will definitely find me here atleast every other week for sure!

You will spend more than the average to eat here, but I believe you get more than just the food/drink, you get the atmosphere as well. One thing I will say that not too many people know about, is that they have a kids menu! Every choice on there is $10 each. When I do end up bringing my babies on Bible study nights, I order them the sausage, eggs, and rice plate or the nuggets. Portions are great, enough to feed an adult, let alone a child. On average for a date, you'd pay about $80-$100 total depending what you order. But it's worth it and it's not an everyday thing. Also check out the shaved ice and ice cream! I haven't tried it just yet, but I heard it's pretty good.

This time around, we found ourselves bringing a family member to dinner and were craving ice cream after dinner. Fortunately, Black Sheep Cream Co. was there. Right off the bat, I want to express my gratitude to the owner for keeping the prices the same since my last review in 2022. The flavors, taste, and venue is comfortable to enjoy your dessert right in front of the business. There is plenty of chairs and umbrella shade. This is locally-owned and worth the try, especially if you're visiting. There recommended flavor is their Black Sesame flavor. I also really appreciate their Matcha flavor.

I ordered one scoop Matcha Made In Heaven and one scoop Mochi Mama Brown Sugar Milk Tea Cream. Unable to see employee scoop the ice cream because it's away from customers' view. Barely tasted and couldn't see brown sugar. Definitely tasted pieces of white mochi and milk tea. Unfortunately, given two scoops of same flavor. By the time I discovered it, it's melting at the bottom because my Matcha Made In Heaven was supposed to be in the cup. My husband consumed his two scoops Guilty of Strobbery like there's no tomorrow. On top of that, if 15 min parking stalls are full, then must pay for parking in other half or across the street. Not sure if I will return to this location unless I'm walking across from one of the resorts.
