To me it felt like she was accusing us of wanting to get free stuff when all we wanted was what we asked for, I love how the place looks now, I used to go a lot in 2023 and never had a complaint about it before, everyone was nice and every time I had something missing they fixed it. I read an article that said this was the best chicken sandwich. I'm not a massive fan of chicken sandwiches but I need go know what's out there, and I've tried (and in order best to worst) Popeye's, Chick-fil-a, and McDonald's. Zaxbys was next on my list and I was looking forward to it. Size was great, tadts were there, and it was a really good chicken sandwich. I'd say it was not as good as Popeyes or Chick-fil-a though. I pulled in to the driveway and saw that the drive thru was packed (always a good sign) so I decided to walk in. I ordered "The Blue" blackened with Mediterranean and Ranch dressing, and a side of deep fried mushrooms. Service was fast and my food was sooo good! I really appreciated the presentation, the salad was made correctly and not thrown in the bowl. The mushroom were crispy, juicy and warm. I'm giving this Zaxby's 2 stars because my boneless wings seemed dry and they could have used more sauce. I've heard so much about Zaxbys and thought it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. The food was prepared well and we ordered the kickin chicken and my brother loved it, but for me, I didn't think the chicken was that amazing, it was good but I think I'd prefer Chick-fil-A's chicken. My son and i stopped by here this past weekend, since we both LOVE Zaxbys! This one is located near the Home Depot Shopping Center off State Bridge Road, very close to the Whole Foods. There is a stop light as well near the entrance to make it easier to get to. Overall, this was our second time eating at this location. The first time, about a year and a half ago, we had my honey's daughter get sick and throw up after eating. Nobody else got sick that day so not sure if it was related or not. However, this visit we came in around 8PM, and made our order (there wasn't much of a wait). I first noticed that the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine had a ton of ice sitting where you'd put your cup to get your drink or ice. I noticed the ice was dumping out much faster than normal, but this caused a major problem with ice melting and the floor area near it getting slippery. Second issue was finding a clean table. I had to walk past 5 tables before we found one that wasn't dirty. Seeing the place wasn't that busy, I was surprised by the fact they hadn't cleaned up some of these tables. Third issue: they had already closed off the middle of the restaurant and sectioned it off by putting up booths to block the pathway. Very tacky. Basically, employees not wanting to clean a section they had already cleaned and then leaving dirty tables around the rest of the restaurant. This was the second bad experience at this location. If you're looking for a Zaxbys, I'd move along to another spot. I only wished i had taken pictures to post. read more

Good place for a quick bite! This location gets packed around lunch time and is popular with working crowd as there are a few corporations in the area. The staff here is very nice and courteous to the customer as they should be. They usually announce your orders via intercom and there is this one lady there who yells into the microphone which is both unnecessary and at the same time hilarious. I went through drive thru and ordered a large chicken sandwich combo with Lemonade. When I got back to my office I bit into sandwich and chicken was rubbery. Meaning it's under cooked. Also had pink undertone. I called store to inform them about what occurred. Spoke to female manager, she was apologetic and said this happens sometimes, which is scary to think that this happens often which could put the public at risk for becoming ill. She said come back and she would get it fixed. I informed her that I didn't have time to return because my lunch break time was over, but I could return there next time I was in the area. I ordered a 4 piece chicken finger meal, I open the container at approximately 1:00am 8-15-2020 during my lunch time. I opened it to realize I was only given 2 chicken fingers in which I paid for a four piece. I realize what happened and went to restaurant to inform them of incident and was told I need the food or my receipt. I had neither and was given a 800 number to call and complain. You ever have a meal you instantly regret, even as you're eating it? That was my recent experience at Zaxby's. It was a Sunday and CFA was closed, so I tried this instead. I had eaten here years ago and thought it was fine. This time, I got the chicken finger platter. The chicken fingers themselves were somehow simultaneously bland and strange-tasting, entirely unappetizing. The Texas toast was terribly salty. I visited this Zaxbys location yesterday. And as we speak, I just spoke with corporate regarding my awful experience with Thalia and the other women who were in the drive-thru. I ordered a chicken finger plate - which by the way I didn't even want or never visited this location before - I wanted my usual soup from Panera but none was available. I have been going to this Zaxby's for several years. Not often, maybe once every two or three weeks, but for quite some time. Today, I went there for the last time. In the years I have been going there, they have never even once gotten an order right on the first try. Today was no different. I went through the drive-thru and placed my order. When I looked at my receipt, they had rang up something other than what I wanted. I spoke to a manager to complain about the ongoing problem, and her response was to tell me that there was only a ten-cent difference between what I wanted and what I was charged for. (Did she seriously expect me to believe that a combo only costs ten cents more than a single sandwich?) I was in a hurry so I just told her that I couldn't deal with their incompetence any more and that I would not be back. Then I took the food - even if it wasn't what I wanted - and left. She said the manager at drive-thru had told her about me and that I had demanded free food. I've been going to this location for years and it's gotten to the point where zaxby's has become my comfort food! The staff is courteous and friendly and the food is done well. If you want fresh chicken, I'd recommend not going too late. My recommendation is the nuclear wings n things, but the chicken finger plate and zalad are nice alternatives. I have a friend who swears by the white cheddar bites. The inclusion of the soft drink mixing machine is also a plus. This is by far the worst Zaxby's I have experienced. The woman at the counter took my order completely wrong, somehow hearing 'traditional wings and things' as 'chicken finger plate' which makes absolutely no sense. I saw this on the receipt before I even got the food. When I took the receipt to them, it took them forever to void it out and they actually made me pay the extra dollar for their mistake. When I finally got my food, I noticed that the sauce was clearly wrong. I asked for hot honey mustard, and it clearly was not that. I took the order back to them, explained the situation, and they remade it. By this time, I just wanted to speak to a manager. All she had to offer me was a cookie, and by the time I got done with speaking to her, my onion rings were cold and my friend was almost done with his meal. Now, I'm only a shift leader at a restaurant, but I personally feel that I can manage a place better than the managers at this Zaxby's. I would never add to a customer's total for the store's mistake, especially after it happening twice within the course of minutes, and then offer them a cheap cookie. I will definitely never eat here again. The McGinnis Ferry location a few miles away definitely has my business from now on. read more
