I am a teacher at a middle school who placed an online curbside order at the Indian Trail, NC location. It was timed so that we could pick up pizza at 11am at the Little Caesarss nearby. We paid for the food the night before, sceduled the pick-up for 10:45am the next day, and completed the vehicle information. The next morning my sister logged into the spot and waited in the car for 15 minutes. When she finally went into the store (mind you it was extremely early), she encountered four employees not doing anything. They were disinterested in her presence, and only one of them even asked if :this is for here or to go". She explained the order and the waiting in the car, to which he again asked "for here or to go". She explained again, and then he was like "oh it's right there". She had to get the food (which was sitting there the whole time - now 15 minutes colder), and walk it out to her own car. This made her late picking up the pizzas, late for the students' lunch period, and now arriving with all stone-cold food. I called that evening at 10pm to alert the manager about the situation and tell them about the experience. I encountered the (again) most disinterested "store manager" in history - Adonis. He took the information and then proceeded to make me feel as if I was calling to get something for nothing. Then he said "Well you said everything was fine, so what do you want from me?" To which I responded that everything was NOT fine, and that I had ordered $70 worth of food that was late, had a terrible customer service experience, delayed an entire school party, and provided my students with cold food which their parents had donated money for. Ordered a Wrap from this store and when I got back to the office to eat my lunch discovered that it had been made with rotten lettuce. They won't answer the phone. I do not recommend. Better ways to throw $10 into the trash. read more

The only good thing to come of this was the gentleman who took the order. Food was cold and dry like it had been sitting for hours. Timing was good so food should have been hot. Shorted on food with the wings and things meal. Restaurant seemed clean enough. Not sure if employee was on break, but one employee sat and talked at a table the entire time. Was sitting when walked in. Two employees walked outside to vehicle multiple times. The rating was my warning so my fault, but my child insisted on Zaxbys. Would recommend staying away and seeing how it was dinner time and we were the only ones eating, seems like everyone else feels the same. My stupidity, lesson learned read more

I can easily see why their rating is so bad. My order was so simple - 10 traditional wings and two sauces. I was told that I would have to pay extra for an additional sauce, which I had no issue. I came here for drive thru and the line was a little long. When it was my turn to order there were 4 cars in front of me and two behind me. The wait was long. But when it was my turn to get my food and pay it seemed pretty quick and easy. Overall, the food was good but the fries were pretty soggy and not crispy like they usually are. Ridiculous that when my fiancé and I stopped here at 8:45 to get dinner after a baseball game they had the dining room doors locked and a group of 8 teenagers were sitting in there eating their food. When calling multiple times to try and talk with a manager I was given a ridiculous excuse that they didn't have enough employees to run their "overly busy" drive thru and keep the dining room open! Just pure laziness! When we left there was 1 car in the drive thru! Don't waste your time with this place! If they are that lazy to keep the dining room open through the posted operating hours then I wonder what other protocols they are cutting corners on!!! Can't even give the 1 star on each item because we didn't get a chance to see how their service, food and atmosphere were, nor will we ever give this location the opportunity to find out how they actually are...... read more

I love zaxby's and it's all about tenders and fries so when you go and the fries are half cooked limp and soggy it's upsetting. Couple that with ordering a six piece finger meal and two of the fingers don't even make up one finger it's really disappointing. The staff is always friendly, but this location is more or less non-functional. I was the 5th car in line at the drive through the other day. It took over 30 minutes, and it would have been even LONGER if 2 cars in front of me hadn't decided to just leave. Today, no carbonated drinks. I should honestly stop coming here but I routinely see more cars decide to leave the drive through than cars that get served. read more

I have been to this location 3 times. I love their salads so I have come back. Problem is staff is rude, no one smiles, and frankly they are slow. First time - got fried chicken instead of grilled 2nd time. It took 25 minutes while I watched people who ordered after me get their food first. Salad again 3rd time not a Caesar after I clearly asked and gave me grief chicken once again. Don't come here. Panama down the street much better. For $10 my salad better be right. First time dining here. I stopped in for a quick lunch and was very pleased. I was greeted with a warm friendly hello and a smile. I ordered a chicken tender sandwich meal and it was really good. Fresh, hot and packaged well. While putting the lid on my cup, I spilled my full cup of sweet tea all over myself and the floor (I have no idea how that happened). The staff was so helpful and kind to me. They cleaned up my mess without complaint. I apologized and they smiled and assured me it was no problem. I felt bad for the mess but they made me feel at ease. I will suggest sturdier medium size cups. They have really clean restrooms as well. read more

I can't say anything about the service as my wife picked up on her way home. I got chicken blt which was seasoned with salt then cooked in salt, then topped off with some salt. Combine that with the fries and my sodium intake is good for the week. I made it about a third into the sandwich before I felt ill. Ordered togo through the app. Clicked on curbside and added to order. Called and requested the curbside, girl told me to come in. Ok... but once I did, the doors were locked. Finally let in, told them my name. Waited, waited, waited. Watched them take orders through the drive thru and fill those orders, over and over again. Never did mine, even though they told the cooks my name and my order when I came in. Waited over 20 mins...got ready to walk out and saw my food finally come up. But still had to wait another 10 mins while they boxed up orders that came in after that and give it to drive thru customers. Hell, I should have just waited in the long drive thru line, I would have got my food faster. So after I walked in the door, I spent over 30 mins waiting on an order I had already placed before I even got there. You guys have really gone down hill. I understand that covid might have you short staffed, but there's no excuse for the lack of service and horrible customer interaction. favorite fast food! antonia was very polite and seemed genuine in taking our order. food was served quickly and was delicious. looked just like the picture on sign. 5.99 for good chicken dinner is hard to beat. bathrooms were clean, too. my only issue was that i was chilly and music in lobby was a little hard to talk over but we will be back for sure! the milkshakes are hard to pass up here. read more

I am a huge Zaxby's fan (it's my favorite fast food chain) but this location is awful. My first experience I had was bad here, but I decided to come back for another try. Both times I have visited I was either the only one in the drive thru line or one of 2-3 and it took 20+ minutes to receive my food. During my first visit I was told at the ordering menu that my meal would be one price, and I was asked to pay a different amount once I FINALLY reached the window. During my second visit I was given the wrong order and had to wait another 15+ minutes (absolutely NO exaggeration) at the window to actually get the food I had ordered after waiting in the drive thru line at least 10 minutes to reach the window. I don't understand why there was such a huge mixup because like I said there was virtually no one else in line (after 2 bad experiences here I guess I now know why no one visits this location.) I will definitely still be an avid Zaxby's goer, but I will not be returning to the Indian Trail location any time soon. read more
