Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings has grown considerably since I first discovered them as they were just a Georgia based restaurant chain. It is good to see them expanding, but with expansion also often comes a slippage in quality. This particular Zaxby's had a few pluses and a few minuses. Let's start with the customer service offered by their team. One woman ignored me for a bit and was focusing on something else with even an acknowledgement that I was there. Eventually, she came and took my order. Since I am doing a bit more healthy for a bit, I went with their "zalad" (just a clever way to market their salad with a clever name). Since I had a focus on healthy, I went with the grilled chicken and asked them to hold the fried onions and cheese. I also asked them to hold the tomatoes simply because I am not a fan of tomatoes. Anyway, I get my food and lo and behold, there's tomatoes. Not the biggest deal, but it shows that there is not much attention to detail. Especially with the order taped to the lid clearly stating "no tomatoes" and tomatoes covering the salad. I will say that the woman who called out my food was friendly and professional. The salad was also over ten dollars, a bit steep for a fast-food salad and it seemed that they skimped on the chicken. All in all, not the best experience, but not overly terrible. I was here during their lunch hour for my friends birthday. Although I didn't order anything, I did see some items that could be consider at the very least vegetarian, but not quite vegan. They offered a small variety of salads, french fries and fried pickles. The state of the restaurant was in chaos and disarray. The soda fountain was in dire need of a good wipe down and I didn't dare check out the bathrooms. The staff seemed to be cordial enough for a fast food restaurant. Overall we enjoyed ourselves there. Doesn't anyone believe in good customer service any more? I was trying Zaxbys for maybe the 2nd or 3rd time in my life. I had seen a commercial for the General Tsaos Chicken and I knew my husband would enjoy that. We went through the drive through to order. Not being a frequent flyer, I was not aware that all meals came with Zaxbys sauce and if you wanted a different kind, you had to pay .25. It's not the money, I can spare .25, heck I could even spring for .50. It was the attitude of the 2 lady's on the other side of the window. The way they acted when I asked for a different sauce you would have thought I was asking for all of their jewelry. When I ordered, they didn't ask me what type of sauce I wanted. They didn't mention that all meals come with only Zaxbys sauce (sorry, not a fan). They acted like it was a huge inconvenience that I even mentioned getting another type of sauce. At times it is hard to get out of the parking lot due to heavy traffic on University Blvd. I am addicted to there Hot Honey Mustard Boneless wings. Absolutely the worst Zaxby's I have ever been to. I love Zaxby's but my god, where do I even start. Our visit was around 8:30pm. The drive through line wasn't bad at all but by time we got to the speaker box, it took them nearly 5 minutes say anything. The staff was rude, they all had AirPods in but couldn't hear evidently as they got the order wrong. By time we got our correct order other than having to settle for different drinks, it was bad. The chicken was disgusting. Parts of it were either solid rock or covered in grease, with no bread crumbs. The fries were old but still mushy, And basically no seasoning. It tasted awful. Then the sauce on the boneless wings started to be non-existent-- but the straw that was my final visit was the sandy gritty salad which was unwashed and inedible and was thrown out. This is my first experience with any Zaxby's restaurant ever. We went inside to order. The restaurant seemed clean and updated. The staff didn't seem wildly excited to be there at with, but they were very polite and helpful. The food came fairly quickly, although it wasn't very busy to start with (we visited about 8:30pm). We order the grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken finger sandwich and onion rings. Although food was very tasty, (really enjoyed the sauce on the sandwich), our sandwiches looked a little squished. Not a huge problem, but it looked like fast food. Prices seemed fair, especially considering they threw in some unexpected fries. Quality had gone down. I went to this location for just fries, no seasoning on 3/20/15 and 3/27/15. On both occasions I was given greasy, redropped fries. Too lazy to drop a fresh batch. On the 2nd visit, I actually brought the fries back in to get a fresh batch of fries. The manager asked what was wrong after the young man went to the window and asked for another order of fries. I told him the fries were old and greasy. He responded with a smug look, "Old, huh?" He opened the box and attempted to feel the temperature of the fries with the back of his hand.
