Our first time at a Zaxby's! This location at Lehigh Acres opened about three weeks ago. It is customary for us to wait for 2-3 weeks until the management works out the routine for a brand-new facility and staff! Got in little after 11:30 AM for lunch. The parking lot was nearly full with only 4 or 5 parking space available. That is a good sign! The staff is friendly and pleasant. The place is clean. I ordered Zaxby's signature Chicken Sandwich with Crinkle Fries, and a small drink. Wife ordered a Southern Fried Shrimp meals, eight fried shrimps with Crinkle fries and Texas Toast. Less than 8 minutes later, the food was ready! Wow. The chicken breast in the sandwich was moist and hot. The pickle and Zaxby's sauce just added a fine touch to sandwich. Good, this will give Popeyes a little competition! The seasoning in my Crinkle Fries was little too strong while my wife's Crinkle Fries without seasoning was wonderful. Next time, I'll ask for no seasoning on my fries! My wife enjoyed her Fried shrimps. Zaxby's is a chain just like Chick-fil-a, PDQ and Popeyes. As we departed, the parking lot was full! Our quick lunch was less than $20 and the service is quick and prompt. Our experience is pleasant and will go back again and maybe try their chicken fingers and fennel cake. read more

We were so excited seeing a new restaurant in Lehigh Acres. This location has only been opened for about a week. The establishment is very clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. They all seemed so very happy working here. Very nice to see. My hubby and I ordered the Zaxyby's Snack the number 1 meal. It comes with 3 chicken fingers, fries, a slice of Texas toast and a small drink. The seasoning on the chicken fingers was a lot. It seemed to be overly seasoned but more of a powdery substance. The chicken fingers were a bit tough to eat tasted like they may have been overcooked. Their crinkle fries were okay. We also decided to get a funnel cake. The funnel cake was supposed to come with powdered sugar and a caramel dipping sauce. Unfortunately they were out of the caramel dipping sauce and skimpy on the powdered sugar. The portion was very small so it was very individual sized. I believe that this is like a learning curve for the cooks at this time being as they are still very new. We were very pleased with the speed of service. People got their food quickly whether it be at the counter or via the drive thru. This place has customer service and promptness they just need to improve their food quality. Once they get the food quality improved then this place will have it all together. read more

First time going to zaxby ordered the fried shrimp meal and frozen lemonade I should say I like salt and sometimes I like a lot of salt. But the shrimp had way too much way way way too much salt. And the fries also had a good amount. It was just awful in my opinion. The frozen lemonade was okay. The service was quick and friendly and the building new and clean Since this was my first time going to zaxbys I don't know if that is normal seasoning or if someone made a bit of a mistake. I came to have lunch and ordered a plain sandwich. The manager ask plain or hot, I said plain. I took it back to the cashier and he said yes, you did oder it plain and that he would fix it. The manager came all the way to the table to confront me and said that I had not ordered the sandwich plain but that she would change it. She was very loud and unperfessional. She did not need to confirm me in front of all the customer. All she had to do was change the sandwich. Of course I did not eat the sandwich after that. This was my first time at Zaxby's. The dining room is clean and well taken care of. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The young gentleman at the counter could have been the manager, as this was my first time he let me sample several sauces. The staff seem to be very happy working here, which is a good sign. I thought my chicken fingers were cooked properly, not overly seasoned. The fries were seasoned. I may ask for no seasoning next time as the taste wasn't for me. Only doing 1 star because you can't do 0. Not sure what took 14 minutes to make fried chicken and some fries. Had 3 customers who ordered after me receive their orders before me. Being a Lehigh local for 13+ years I'm excited to see new businesses come, however I can see this going to the dirt if service is like this. Will not be coming back unfortunately. read more
