Zaxby's has been one fast food go-to for Sophia and myself. Most of the times we've came here, orders have been good and filling. Let's see how things have been since the last time I did a review. For all our visits, we ordered food via drive-thru. The process has always been fast and efficient. Every time, they greeted us hello while taking orders. Mostly, we've ordered chicken finger plates, but sometimes select their salads which are pretty good. Just recently, they created chicken wraps (choice of chicken bacon ranch, buffalo blue and asian zensation). We both chose chicken bacon ranch, which was full of protein and veggies. Very good stuff. When I said the wrap was full, it was definitely full. I did have fries as part of a combo so it definitely helped to get me full for the afternoon. Once again, Zaxby's came through. First impression of this representative of the franchise is that the dining room is attractive and clean; service at the counter friendly and courteous; and the Nibblerz chicken tenders sandwich sliders with Zaxby sauce, pretty much average in taste and overall appeal. Reminds of Raisin' Cane chicken tenders, but not quite as large, nor as good. Their self serve Coke soda machine was working fine. The crinkle cut fries, crisp and a tad salty. Bathroom clean enough. Wouldn't rush in if I saw another one and was hungry, but wouldn't avoid it either. Let me begin with I had Zaxbys from this location years ago when they first opened, it wasn't the best experience then. I was convinced by a family member to try it again- it had to be a fluke. Well I was wrong they're great. I had the 3 piece chicken strips with fries and toast combo- so scrumptious. The tenders were so perfectly cooked and the Cajun seasoning from this place is so good... like seriously why don't they sell it by the bottle like some other chains.?! I had my food delivered. Three items were missing from my order. I was told that I could come and get the items on a different day. I feel the items should have been delivered. Not my first time going there, but it'll be my last. I went to the drive thru, the girl was not in a happy mood which led her to talking very fast so I could not hear her. I stopped going here about 6 months ago. Previously I had been going probably once a week. The food started declining in taste and the chicken wing dinner got to be really smaller. Yesterday out all morning on errands I didn't want a burger for lunch and wanted a salad. I got the blue salad with fried chicken peices. The chicken was hard and super super dry. It definitely didn't taste fresh. Tasted old. The salad greens were pretty old tasting too and very warm.I kept pulling big peices of brown lettuce out and discarding it. I order the number one, which is a 3 piece, toast , side, and drank. Nothing hard, nothing difficult. I received my food, paid the monies, and pulled over to devour every morsel. If I was just reviewing the food, it would probably get 4 and a 1/2 stars. But the disappointing service deserves the loss of several stars. I've ordered from here twice and the chicken fingers are always juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Fantastic. The zaxby's sauce is great, the creaminess and hint of spice works great on both the chicken and the fries. Speaking of which, the crinkle cut fries are always cooked well and seasoned nicely. However I have not gotten cold slaw with my combo pack, despite it being included in the advertisement. But what really bothers me is the people who I have dealt with at the drive thru. They never smile, show no personality, and I haven't been thanked or acknowledged for coming to spend my money. A little bit of service would go a long way. Hopefully management will realize this soon, because my reviews seems to sound very similar to a lot of the other ones that I have seen here. read more

Fresh found, clean and new dining room, and friendly staff make this a must for chicken lover wanting a step above fast food. Salad offerings are a highlight for those looking for flavor without the calories. And you get it served in a nice bowl (when dining in) instead of a plastic container. They were room temperature. I should have sent them back but my wife didn't want me to complain. The management needs to ask themselves if they would serve that Sam kind of food to their parents. I had tried Zaxby on Jefferson before and was unimpressed so I thought I would try this location. I went inside, and the counter clerk asked me for my order. Turned out she punched out and off the clock but was still behind the counter so the woman working at the drive in station came over and took my order. The meal was packed "to go" and it did not have any napkins (and if you have eaten at Zaxbys you know you will need napkins) so I had to get up and ask for those. The drink that was suppose to come with the meal was not with it so I went back to the counter to get the cup. Now the actual food was hot and tasted fine but was kind of skimpy for the price. After my meal I went to the restroom, and that was a mess. Ultra-slick floor plus water that once you pushed down to turn it on, it would not shut it off and the paper towel machine was jammed. Individually, none of this is a big deal but all together this indicated issues with staffing and maintaining the restaurant (and they "were not busy" at all). I am giving two stars hoping for improvements because all this is fixable. read more

Though the decor was great and very clean, the food was eh. Our chicken wings were cooked but not crispy. Who wants chicken wings with chewy skin?? Lady taking my order had an attitude. I was told to pull forward and wait in a parking space. Since I waited 15 minutes I figured they didn't have any already made so were making a fresh one. I was wrong. Chicken sandwich was not crispy. Chicken was rubbery and disgusting. It had obviously been sitting out too long. Fries were also soggy. We have been coming to this Zaxby's for quite some time. The food has been going downhill for awhile now. Today we ordered the four piece chicken plate the new chicken bacon fries and cheddar bites. The coleslaw was just been dumped in to the tray, cheddar bites were cold and the chicken fries with bacon were the worst I've ever had!!!! The french fries are cold, the cheese was hard as a rock and in the center of it, underneath everything. It was like It could have been made this morning and set aside. Is 20 minutes in a drive thru acceptable? Usually fast service but today is unseemly.

First off, know that I only eat at Zaxby's when there is no Raising Cane's available. This particular branch was a nice second chance from the disastrous first impression I got the first time I visited a Zaxby's. The food was delicious, fresh and very fast. I'd definitely visit this branch again...so long as a Cane's doesn't pop up any time soon! I was a little put off to find that it was $.25 extra for a bit of ranch. On top of that I only requested tomatoes be removed from my salad however all I got was lettuce, cucumbers, chicken and cheese. No bread... no onions... nothing else really sad.
