First timer at any Zaxby's. First impression of this representative of the franchise is that the dining room is attractive and clean; service at the counter friendly and courteous; and the Nibblerz chicken tenders sandwich sliders with Zaxby sauce, pretty much average in taste and overall appeal. Reminds of Raisin' Cane chicken tenders, but not quite as large, nor as good. Their self serve Coke soda machine was working fine. The crinkle cut fries, crisp and a tad salty. Bathroom clean enough. Wouldn't rush in if I saw another one and was hungry, but wouldn't avoid it either. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer real chicken with bones and skin to any of these processed chicken food alternatives.

Three piece tenders, fries and toast combo meal

Let me begin with I had Zaxbys from this location years ago when they first opened, it wasn't the best experience then. I was convinced by a family member to try it again- it had to be a fluke. Well I was wrong they're great. I had the 3 piece chicken strips with fries and toast combo- so scrumptious. The tenders were so perfectly cooked and the Cajun seasoning from this place is so good... like seriously why don't they sell it by the bottle like some other chains.?! Pro Tip: Anyway you can't go wrong with the tenders and that sauce- better ask for an extra sauce too cause it's yummy to dip the fries in.

Not my first time going there, but it'll be my last. I went to the drive thru, the girl was not in a happy mood which led her to talking very fast so I could not hear her. I told her chicken finger plate with no drink, proceeds to give me a drink so I was like okay well maybe she charged me anyway and it was my favorite kind of drink so I took it, drank out of it, then proceeds to ask for it back. I told her sorry but I already drank out of it. She gave me the most stank ass face, chucked the food at me and closed the window in my face. I'm sorry, but you gave me the drink which means if you want it back, it goes in the trash? Because I've worked in food services and you can just give someone something that you gave someone else? Anyway, got home, and there's a wod of hair in my funnel cake that was clear as day. So thanks I'm not hungry for that. At least I got a free drink? But I was really looking forward to that funnel cake. And the Texas toast was doughy as shit. It was even bread. It was like dough that just so happen to imitate bread. I just don't understand why she was so mad at me for her mistake? I'm sorry I shit in your corn flakes cause you gave me a drink?

Zaxbys, If you follow me you know i dont give major chains more then 3 stars. Reason being is people are going to the major chains no matter the stars. Just look a Mcdonalds, wendys, pizza hut. So stars for the major players dont matter. So why am I giving these 3 stars away like texas toast, because i just had them for lunch, and I want to give a review. I order the number one, which is a 3 piece, toast , side, and drank. Nothing hard, nothing difficult. I received my food, paid the monies, and pulled over to devour every morsel. I was slightly dis appointed my food was like 8 dollars ( which is high as gas if you ask me) and my chicken was small. I just was expecting more food for 8 dollars. I will say the food was fresh, and the food was good. I am just fat, and more food for my dollar. Its safe to go there, and i am sure you will enjoy your self.

Is 20 minutes in a drive thru acceptable? Usually fast service but today is unseemly.

Food is good but the guy taking orders for the drive through needs to find a job that does not require customer interaction.

If you're looking for a total body experience, this is it. The presentation alone is a work of art on a plate--almost too beautiful to eat. Almost. The aroma greets you at the door, teasing you with exactly what you came for and setting the tone before the 1st bite ever lands on your tongue. There's a perfect balance between a lively, energetic kitchen and a culinary dance that knows exactly how to set the mood between you and your wait staff. I love watching a kitchen that truly moves together. The way the kitchen and waitstaff flow in harmony tells you everything you need to know before the food even arrives. And then there's the food itself--textures that crunch just right, silkiness where it belongs, and a mouthfeel that's been thoughtfully mastered. Every bite delivers. The flavors explode, layering the fundamentals with deep, savory umami that lingers long after the plate is cleared. That lingering sixth sense... the feeling that stays with you is matched only by the vibe. It's that rare sense of being exactly where you're supposed to be. And where you're supposed to be is here, experiencing this food for yourself. Get on over here and tell us what you think. I started with the buffalo chicken mozzarella sticks, but they weren't for me so I sent them back. I ended up getting the blackened chicken flatbread, which was actually really good and full of flavor. A few others in my group had mixed experiences too--my cousin ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and didn't like them, and my daughter tried the crab cake appetizer. She said the flavor was great, but the texture was too mushy inside. My sister, on the other hand, enjoyed her shrimp appetizer and said the mac and cheese egg rolls were just okay. One thing we all agreed on--the drinks were AMAZING. Definitely strong and well-made, they did not disappoint at all. The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, especially being in the Oyster Point area. It's a great spot to hang out on a Saturday night. Not sure if I'd rush back, but it was a decent experience.

Grunow's offers an entirely gluten-free dinner menu, which gave us great peace of mind. We called in a takeout order, and both the service and the food were outstanding. In fact, while we were eating, my granddaughter asked, "Are you sure this is gluten-free? It tastes too good!" I assured her it was, although my inner voice was thinking, "We'll know for sure in about six hours." I'm happy to report it truly was gluten-free, and she had no issues at all. Delicious food, excellent service, and a restaurant that understands the importance of serving those with celiac disease safely. We highly recommend Grunow's!
