The ambience is not fancy but the staff (family owned) were very friendly and the food was amazing. We decided against the buffet, which did look good, and ordered the combo appetizer which was very good with hummus, baba ghanooj, falafel, tabouli, grape leaves , fatoosh (one of our favs) 4 bean mint salad (also amazing), and tzatziki. While we were waiting for the app combo, we were served complimentary lentil soup which was also very good! For our main meals we got chicken shawarma and chicken shish both of which come on a bed of biryani. The chicken was flavorful and soooo tender! Large portions, fragrant, flavorful food, and the family who runs the place were really nice. We can't wait to go back again! Next time we'll leave room to try dessert!

We were excited to find a middle eastern place that had a buffet on the weekend. If you like to try different dishes this place is for you. Inside there is plenty of seating and it is decorated nicely. It is seat yourself and go up with a plate. The staff were pleasant and checked in with us. Ok the food. There was a hot and cold buffet. Bread, soup, tea/water all available for you to enjoy. The dishes were all super flavorful and we couldn't find a complaint. The 2 we enjoyed most were the stuffed vegetables which has a rice filling and the vegetable kibbeh which is nicely stuffed with veggies. The hummus was super creamy and the baba ganoush was awesome. They had chicken, beef, lamb and fish dishes along with plenty of veggie options. I would definitely come back again.

Incredibly impressed by this restaurant! Wasn't sure what to expect when I came here but what stood out the most was the excellent service from the staff! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and asked if it came with hummus. Since it did not, the staff gave us some to try for free! They also gave us a complimentary bowl of soup which was outstanding (we had lentil soup). The hummus is unbelievably good. The biryani is all must-order side dish. Definitely want to try the buffet next time I come here. Very fair prices for the generous portions they serve! Plenty of seating inside and very spacious. You seat yourself when you walk in. Casual ambiance and overall vibe. You can't find anything else like this in the area! Truly one of a kind!

I…read moreordered both the whole chicken plate and a muhmmara pie, and I had enough food for probably 3 meals! Keep in mind that if you order the whole chicken plate, you need to place your order at least 45 minutes in advance for them to prepare it, but it's 1000% worth it. Whole Chicken Plate - I think this is actually a Cornish game hen rather than a really small chicken, and it was so perfectly juicy and fresh tasting. Ordering takeout chicken is especially risky of being dry, but this was juicy and cooked to perfection. The spices on the chicken had just the right amount of kick, and the nuts and the rice were seasoned perfectly. I'd eat just the rice without the meat too - it was that good! Side of Mutabal - I had never had this before, but it was so so so so good! It had a sort of creamy texture to it (maybe yogurt?) and it was so rich and satisfying. I'm also a fan of baba ganoush but this takes eggplant to another level - I'm going to have to order this again and again and even look up a recipe to make at home. Absolutely recommend this gem of a side! Muhmmara pie - This was the one dish that was just okay - the pepper paste was good, but I was expecting a different kind of carb wrapping - the photos I'd seen look a bit different - this was more of a pita with the pepper spread on it and folded in half. I'd like to try again to see if it's the same thing as the other pictures on yelp or if perhaps the "pie" part of this was just different this particular day. All in all though, this was a solid 5/5. The whole chicken plate was perfect and I'd get it again with the mutabal any day!

I remembered previously ordering a Chicken Shawarma Plate. That is now in the "Specialties" section of the menu and that's what I ordered expecting to get the same plate of delicious chicken, rice, salad and hummus. I was shocked that this $20 "Specialty" consisted of a dry chicken wrap, french fries, some sort of yogurt dip and AWFUL, salty pickled vegetables. The fries were good but you don't go to a specialty Mediterranean place to get fries with a meal described as a plate. Apparently, you can no longer get a true plate of chicken shawarma with rice here. I do plan to return again some day and try the Kofta Kebab or Mixed Grill Plate from the "Entree" section since these still come with rice but everyone should be avoiding the "Specialties" plates as these are poorly executed and severely overpriced. Regardless of what you are ordering, I would highly recommend calling in your order to confirm exactly what you are going to get with your order since the online menus have no details whatsoever.

The reviews for this place caught my eye as I do like Mediterranean Turkish cuisine. I noticed that they had standard fare as well as lots of veggie and vegetarian options on their menu. I decided to run in quickly with my order for a beef gyro as well as an eggplant gyro. My first impression was that the place is cute casual and clean. The friendly staff member took my order and after a short wait, I was given a neatly packaged small shopping bag. I appreciated the disposable plates and utensils that were included without my asking, and am always iffy about eating on the go. I am not a fan of messy so there is that haha. Let me just say that I was completely satisfied with my gyros as they tasted great. They also added a nice amount of tzatziki sauce just as requested yum. It was delish, so much so that I scarfed it down without taking any pictures. This was indeed an enjoyable late lunch!

I don't find the hummus particularly interesting, but it still complemented other dishes fine. I had a mocktail to start with passionfruit and mango - it was really great. So many mocktails out there are too sweet and not creative. This was a notable exception. Service was great and they sent us home with lots of bread to go with our leftovers. We were told we had to order the bread with the assortment of cold appetizer spreads and that really was fantastic. Piping hot bread, huge and an assortment of 4 dishes to go with it. All were tasty, especially the hummus. This alone is worth the journey to find this place. I had the lamb kofte, which are flattened meatballs usually cooked like a kebob. I was served a large portion and they tasted delicious, plenty to bring home. The other diners with me enjoyed their chicken kabob, falafel and kabob wrap. We thought the prices were fair for such generous portions. We will try again if in the area. Give this place a try if you have been sitting on the fence like me.
