This place has a potential to be 5 stars . I ordered 2 items - 1) the sojuk cheese pie was just excellent - hot , fresh right from the oven and the cheese and meat were just excellent . 5/5 2) the fatteh bin zeit wasn't exactly what I was hoping , but I think it was my fault for not ordering the regular humus fatteh, which is what I was hoping to get . This one was a little bit too mushy and the texture was too liquid. 3.8/5 I also took the malayeh which was white pudding desert , which was not too sweet and very tasty . 4.4/5 Will come back to try other items in the menu and also my preferable version of fatteh! read more

One of my all-time favorite places. The only thing inconsistent is you cannot request garlic for aside, but they randomly give it to you lol. And that makes my heart very happy because I eat it on every single piece of food if I can. :) Delicious and today they accommodated with no tomatoes because we just don't eat them fresh. Kofta fresh and perfect. We like the muhamara here. I love the fatteh humus here. Kibbeh and fateyer here. Shish tawook here. Basically everything lol. Happy they expanded too. read more

Believe me when I say I had the worst experience here . Food and customer service are horrible including the managers . I ordered food for our 6 guess , I drove from Carrollton to Richardson . They made me wait for 45 minutes even though they told me the food will be ready 15 mins . The Zartar pie was burnt and falafel tasted like a rock or sand .. no salt no flavor at all . I love their cheese and Turkish pizza boats. These are rare to find. The food tastes almost homemade. The dessert is so creamy.. the kind of thing you would crave in summer and winter. Pretty casual dine in experience, not on the fancy side if you're wondering. The fattoush is really good. The garlic was slightly overpowering if you're sensitive to that. When I am able to, I like to go to zDar Market every weekend. It's like a mini escape. Being a vegetarian, I am very particular about what I eat and who prepares it... I know these guys have my back every chance I go. This is what I had yesterday (8/28) which is a regular thing for me. What made this experience so special is that I was advised a 15 minute lead time in the meal. She came around the corner in 5 minutes with this plate. Customer service sucks. Ordered 2 falafel wraps and one chicken shawarma wrap. Took 45 minutes and wasn't ready yet (she said 15 minutes). All customers came after were served and i wasn't (even I asked them so many times about the order) The place wasn't really that busy. There was only one 8-people table and they were already eating. Finally just left and asked for a refund. I wanted to order online but online ordering sucks and way more expensive than in store prices (because it's through door dash? Grubhub ....). Hidden gem alert!!!! We always stop by when we're grocery shopping in the area. The Zaa'tar pie and Turkish Pizza are SO GOOD!!! Highly recommend those as our favorite from here. We've also had the Lahmajeen and Chicken Tawook. They have good soda options - grape and strawberry crush! We always get those lol read more

Hailing from the northeast, I miss certain foods and middle eastern food is one of them. We were referred this place by someone and made the trip to dine...so grateful. This place is amazing, the help (and family) are excellent and very helpful. Falafel is excellent but the insider tip is to request "fresh made", they'll make it especially for your order. Hummus is delicious, fattoush is outstanding, cheese pie was excellent...this could go on for a while. They were out of shawarma for the day (oh the perils of arriving late), but heck, it's obviously made daily or frequently at that. A friend introduced me to this place, and I must say I was really impressed! You would not expect such great food just by looking at it from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. The inside is very clean, well organized, and the owners are really nice! The quality of the food is unlike any other middle eastern restaurant that I've been to. I had the Chicken Kebab sandwich along with a Safeha Pie as an appetizer. They make their bread from scratch which just added to the deliciousness. I'm really looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other menu items. read more

Person taking order didn't like my pronunciations and pretended not to understand even when I point to the menu, spelled it and gave the English translation. A turkish delight! Walking in, I knew it was authentic when I was the only white boy in the building. The store doesn't look like a dive, but its definitely lacks any feng shui or atmosphere. I got a turkish pizza with an egg as well as a chicken shawarma. I miss the Turkish Pizzas from Istanbul Palace. These are now my go to spot in the neighborhood. They make wonderful pizzas. The bread is truly amazing. It beats any pizza bread I could ever order in Dallas. Its soft in the inside, yet sturdy. The smell is divine and I could sit there all day and sniff it. The cheese they use is quite fresh. One thing I notice is they gave me an over-medium egg, since I think they baked the egg while in the oven. There were bits of egg white that were still runny, but not all of it. I would normally like it to be all runny, but the cheese and bread had a good amount of moisture that I didn't miss it. The seasoning/meat they add under the cheese was actually a good flavor, but I wish they added more. I saw how in other screenshots of the menu that they can shawarma meat on top after the fact. That's probably what I will do next time. The shawarma came out piping hot. So hot that I had to blow on it like a pan flute and see the steam cloud my vision like a vapor trail. The pita bread was crispy on the edges, yet soft around the parts that weren't touching the grill. Based on the time of the day, and the looks of the shawarma pit, the meat was not at its prime. Considering most of it was tender, I can only imagine when its fresh for lunch. The garlic sauce they make is phenomenal. Its made in house and truly brings a zesty, refreshing taste to the meal. The warm pickle on the inside was a nice touch. Its not something I would have done on my own, but it gives it an acidic ring to its flavor without being too much. I don't like how much of the garlic sauce is packed on one side, instead of encapsulating the meat. I should have asked for more garlic sauce to drizzle on my own, but oh well. The chicken shawarma wrap was not the best Ive had, but I admire the fact that it had character. I wont find another shawarma like this anywhere in town. After you wait about 12 minutes to cool down, it's a damn good shawarma that satisfies and doesn't slop all over the place with grease. Its nice to know this place is close by. I would even travel 10 minutes out of my way if I had to. Im excited to try other things on their menu. read more

Food was excellent and made to order. Falafel was pretty good, personally I like their to be parsley in the mixture and the shape to be smaller. Their fatteh was the best that I have had; I went into the restaurant thinking that I wouldn't enjoy this dish but was pleasantly surprised. This is the only restaurant in the area that I know of that has this available to eat. I also really enjoyed their cheese boats and meat pie. We came for breakfast but the shawarma on the spit roasting looked very good, I would also like to come back and try that. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. There were Arabic grocery items you could purchase on the shelf. We were the only party inside the restaurant. It seems that most of their orders were Togo. Great Middle Eastern Fast Food with great prices in North Dallas area. I would highly recommend it for casual occasions.

I often buy several meals for the week here. Usually one of their pizzas or wraps along with some pre packaged excellent meals. Incredibly helpful staff, excellent selection and always fresh and delicious. They'll let you try anything as well! Money will come don't worry but approach your customers and talk to them, see if they like your food, ask what is missing. The owner is very friendly and has good recommendations. Ordered the chicken sandwich which has the option to add garlic & pickles, veggies, or baba ganoush. The bread was soft, the sandwich itself was very moist and the chicken was tender. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the flavor of the chicken, lacked the traditional Mediterranean flavor. Also she was not wearing any gloves and had long nails and she was calling to someone through her personal phone while I was talking to her.
