I was in the area and decided to stop by this spot without really looking too much into it. I was a bit short on time, and when it popped up nearby I figured it would be worth trying. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it actually had a good amount of seating inside which was nice. I ordered one slider and one tender with fries. I got the slider Hot and the tender X-Hot. Surprisingly, I liked the Hot slider more than the X-Hot tender. The Hot had better flavor overall and seemed a lot juicier. The X-Hot definitely brought the heat, but the flavor on the Hot just stood out more to me. The kid working the counter was a little awkward, but still welcoming and helpful when taking my order. Overall it was a solid experience and the food was good. If I'm in the area again, I'd consider stopping by. Solid spot for a quick bite.

We order the chicken sandwiches and Zecto fries and the sandwiches were extremely good and freshly made. The fries were also good but for me had too much sauce but my boys enjoyed them. The fries are so crispy and taste so good with the seasoning they put on. The service was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was chill inside and they do have a tv showing the sports games. Parking is good and they do have a drive thru as well.

The thing about hot chicken places is that, when they work, they soar wonderfully, but when they fail, they fail spectacularly. It's very hard to get right the balance between being pulse-racing hot and cleverly delicious. You either lose the flavor in all that heat or you just don't bring it when it comes to the promise of burning you alive from the inside. I'm glad to say that Zecto's finds that balance. I was thoroughly impressed with how good (and big) the tenders were in their combos. Not only did the sting of some absolutely flaming chicken become noticeable in the first bite, but each belt was also noticeably scrumptious as well. The service was exemplary, as the workers had my back with refills, requests for honey, and to-go boxes. They also just had a pleasant and helpful demeanor when it came to interacting with them. Also, for a fast casual spot, the size was perfect. It had lots of tables for both two and four guests, and even accommodated our six person party admirably. I also thought the location had great parking and a drive-thru option, something you don't see often in the hot chicken game. All in all, this place was great if you want something other than the usual Dave's or Clyde's, and I think I'm a greater person for having eaten there. Like a great cyborg once said, I'll be back.

WOW NOW THATS WHAT I CALL FRIED CHICKEN! A little background for me when I first had Dave's hot chicken that was the first time I had fried chicken that really awakened something inside me a fried chicken fiend if you will. Ever since that day I've been chasing that same high and after all those years I thought maybe I would never get that same feeling again. That's until I had Zecto. The fried chicken here is something else it really helps that each item is made to order cause the freshness and crispness of the chicken is really something special. The seasoning on the fried chicken is almost like a layer of sauce with how well it is coated and the juiciness of the meat itself is divine. Yes it is on the pricey side but you can definitely taste the quality and to me that's worth it versus a commercialized taste that a lot of other fried chicken joints have fallen victim to. The service here is phenomenal I had multiple orders when I dined in here and each of those times we were given free items like extra sauce, waffles, cookies all free of charge which was really nice. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this place even if you aren't a fried chicken fiend this is just objectively delicious food that you won't be disappointed with. Thank you Zecto!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE HOT CHICKEN PLACE. By far actually. The only comparable places are out side of the state so this is easily my favorite hot chicken spot. Its got the most flavorful hot chicken, I like all the different flavors they have for the zecto fries like teriyaki and mango habanero and omg its so good I've tried the tenders, sandwich, and the zecto fries and all 3 are the best! Prices are a little high, I like their combo deals, and their daily specials. Service is pretty fast and nice and the inside seating is also good too.

A hidden gem, service was amazing and inside was very spacious. There were parking outside and it's in a brand new plaza. Their original fried chicken sandwich was on the bread was fried, but not too overbearing, and you still taste the meat which was very tender .

The reviews were correct its not just hype this is where you will find the best nashville style chicken. It takes awhile to get your order because they make it fresh but its so worth the wait. The chicken is the juiciest most tender chicken I have ever had. I got the spicy level and damn it was hot. It was a good spicy though the kind where you still wanna eat it even though it burns. So flavorful and goes super well with the comeback sauce and ranch. Price is decent and portion size is huge - I was stuffed with the 2 chicken tenders combo. The place is super clean and accepts credit card. Wayy better than daves hot chicken or raising canes. Like 1000x better.

Tried zecto for the first time and it was a pleasant experience ! Very clean inside, and very nice and helpful employees. I got the 2 piece tender combo, which was tender and moist. The breading was different compared to other tender places so it was nice to try something new. There's a variety of sauces to pick from which complemented the meal and fries nicely.

Zecto Fries. I see no carbs! (: My son follows Zecto on Instagram because of Cal State Fullerton (IDK) but that kid said "Mom, Zecto has 50% of one item, lets go"! Let me tell you the fries are "Amazing"!!!! Zecto Fries are definitely something on that menu you need to order either to share or make it a meal, these are literally my favorite fries. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by this place. I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with my experience at Zecto. Right off the bat, the service was impeccable, as they were patient with us when deciding what to order and giving great recommendations. I definitely recommend the loaded fries and Nashville Sando--both AMAZING. The prices are also very decent. WOW! That's what my reaction was after my first bite of a hot chicken sandwich from Zecto Hot Chicken. So, I love chicken sandwiches and I'm always hunting for the best. I've driven to LA and Waited in line and the result was ok, but, for me, it wasn't worth the drive to LA and definitely not worth the wait. What I'm trying to say is that whenever I see a hot chicken sandwich shop open or hear about one, I always go check it out. Always. I've tried them all and if I haven't tried one yet, it's only because it hasn't blipped on my radar just yet. But for now, and surely for years to come, when I'm hungry for a hot chicken sandwich, I go to Mike and Matthew and family at Zecto Hot Chicken. The food is clean and cooked fresh and comes out piping hot. I almost burn myself every time I go, because I'm SO IMPATIENT for that first bite. Oh and the fries? My son loves them almost as much as I do, because they are so flavorful and super crispy. The sandwiches can be ordered in a number of heat profiles but not so many that you roll your eyes from trying to make what should be a simple decision. There are plenty of menu items which give you and your group of friends and or family members lots of tasty options. If you try a Zecto hot chicken sandwich and aren't satisfied, you can punch me in the stomach the next time we meet. . No, trust me friends, you will not be disappointed by this spot one bit. From the interior design, the customer service, fun atmosphere and the food, which of course if the star attraction, you will not cannot be disappointed in Zecto Hot Chicken. Horrible , walked in didn't even get greeted to start. Still put it past them even though it was completely empty . Ordered my food and ordered mild for my sandwich which was the lowest heat. It was unbearably hot, my husband orders traditional wings and gets boneless and he's always hated boneless. He told the lady in the front and she puts the order in for traditional. Another family walked in after and got their food made before the wings . We waited the entire time for the wings. Decided to just leave and call it a loss. Came for the reviews but left so embarrassed that I picked this place for my family and almost the entire softball team . Definitely will never be coming back. read more

The food here was excellent. And better than the other chain chicken joints. I had their chicken sandwich and it was outstanding. My wife had the Cesar Salad and really enjoyed it. The kids got the chicken fingers and they gave it 2 thumbs up. The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly! The restaurant was nice and clean, well lit and plenty of parking. I enjoy leaving reviews for small businesses that deserve the praise and this place deserves the praise and recognition. I have been working in the food business since high school so I am very honest in my reviews. I came in with my brother and we ordered 2 Sando Combos with mild spice. I got the Mac n cheese and he got the fries. Starting off with the sandwich it was very juicy and not greasy at all which is perfect because nowadays a lot of fried chicken spots are very greasy and makes me feel bad afterwards. The seasoning was not overwhelming which is good because you were able to enjoy everything else that was in the sandwich. The sides were very good as well the Mac n cheese was very good and didn't taste bland at all. The fries were well cooked and seasoned and that's very good because a lot of places can't even make a good fry I hope this place gets the attention it deserves ! read more

Having been avid hot chicken enthusiasts since 2019, we would constantly be traveling across beautiful SoCal in search of the best hot chicken shop. As time progressed, our favorite places began to decline in quality and would fall short of the things that made us originally fall in love with them. With this being the case, we decided to take matters into our own hands and do things right ourselves. From serving the absolute best quality of certified halal chicken we could source, to ensuring that each flavor of sauce and seasoning worked in harmony, we worked tirelessly to provide Orange County with what hot chicken and loaded fries are meant to be: delicious without compromise. We also realized then that they didn't have the all-you-can-eat option, so we ended up ordering the chicken wings, their version of loaded fries, and steamed rice. We also placed the order via the QR code. We had our drinks delivered to our table shortly afterward. The food, however, was taking a long time to get to our table. It may have been a combination of the FIFA World Cup and a staff shortage, but when we were there, there was only 1 kitchen staff member and 1 wait staff member. The lady on the wait staff did everything from serving food to accepting new customers and topping off water for all the tables. A wall separates the restaurant; there is a front room and an inside room, and both rooms had televisions broadcasting the game. The food itself was decent for the price that they charge. The chicken wings came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. They have some options for different wing flavors. The fries were also delicious and well-fried. I hope the restaurant invests in more wait staff because there were times we needed something from the wait staff. Seeing how busy she was, or sometimes she's just in the front room, we haven't seen her in a while to get whatever we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere is very unique; it's definitely a nice place to get some Korean street food when you're in the area. The only things to note are that parking is limited, food will take a while to cook as it is made fresh, and there will be some waiting to be done if you need wait staff. Last thing to note: I love that they had some Korean Fusion dishes, and I wish I had a bigger stomach to try these as well during our visit, perhaps another time!

Highly recommend!! Finally a good hot chicken spot in the area! My husband is a wing man and he said the wings were perfect - and there are various sauce options that were good. I had the loaded fries and the chicken tenders and was so happy I got them- usually chicken tenders are mostly breading on dry chicken but these were moist with a light breading and great flavor even in the breading. The Zecto fries were good, I love the mango habanero, no complaints. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwiches were disappointing.
