We finished with the Key lime pie, which had the right balance of creamy and tangy. The staff was friendly, parking was easy, and our waiter made the entire visit even better. This was our first time at Sinbad's, but it definitely won't be our last.

But I think you can order more for a cost. My waitress, Kena, was kind and quick. Engaging and fun to talk to while being attentive to our needs. The fish and burger were good. The baked potato was pretty basic and could be prepared a little better, especially if paying for "fully loaded." They make some of their dressings in house which are good. I would maybe opt for a different side than fries. They taste like basic frozen fries with no character. I'd opt for the side salad! There is a nice view of the marina and so you can see the boats and some of the fishermen coming in and out. Everyone has to do valet, I don't love that. It's not ideal if you do not have cash. It just feels unfair to have that added cost automatically.

I found the beer list very disappointing. But the food was excellent. Every one of the dishes was excellent -- I had the mezcal wings with blueberry sauce, nicely spicy and balances by the sweet sauce, and the berry salad, topped with blackened salmon -- I was full when done with no room for dessert. My wife enjoyed the charred cabbage and "the best mac and cheese I have ever had." A third member of our group had the romaine caesar salad, which arrived as a series of romaine leaves with caesar salad contents sitting them and wagyu meatballs (she was so full on the former that she had no room for the meatballs). And the fourth diner was very pleased with her buffalo cauliflower. our server was a very sweet young woman (maybe an older teen?)

When we walked in the place was empty. That's ok though. It was happy hour. Yay! So we sat at the bar and ordered our first round of drinks. The salted caramel martini was delicious. It did not disappoint. We decided to stick with the happy hour menu because we had already been snacking. We got wings and the meatballs. The wings were delicious and are the most popular item on the menu. The meatballs were ok. I wasn't overly excited. The reason that I deducted stars was due to the service. Although the bartender was lovely, she also disappeared a lot and for a long time. She was more busy cleaning windows and mirrors than she was interested in customer service. Although it started out well I ended up disappointed and I don't think I would come back.

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. Additionally, there is a photo booth for pics (long line) and Warda Patisserie is right next door and accessible through a garden walkway.

The inside restaurant area is also beautiful. We wanted to sit inside at the bar, so we waited for some seats to open up. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I bought one of their wine glasses with their logo on it too for just $10.
