Came in on St. Patty's Day and it was a really nice crowd. The DJ was great. My friend and I had the crab cakes, waffle fries, and brussel sprouts. The crab cakes were good. The waffle fries and brussel sprouts were over cooked. They replaced the fries and they were better. For drinks we had "Sex with a Peach" and it was a really good cocktail in a tall glass. The bartender Bri was extremely nice and attentive.

I came here for drinks on my birthday. We juuuust missed the 6 pm cutoff for happy hour. My drink of choice was a glass of Riesling. Their glasses and pours are huge and the price ($7) was right! This place is so grown and sexy inside, beautifully decorated with a curated R&B playlist, we were told this is a no twerk zone lol. I eventually got hungry and ordered a Caesar salad and steak bites. I ordered my steak bites medium well but would probably order medium if I got them again, which is highly doubtful considering that they were $24 and I only got maybe 5 pieces. They were well done and a little chewy. The zip sauce and mushrooms that accompanied the bites were very flavorful but waaay too salty. Now let's talk about THE STANDOUT...that Caesar salad! When I say this is the best Caesar salad I have EVER had, I mean that! This salad alone will make me a regular at Parrots like I'm Norm from cheers. The dressing ratio was perfect, not too much, not too little. And that dressing....so garlicky and flavorful! I really wanted to go back there and ask the chef to walk me through how to make it. My only gripe is they were a little stingy with the croutons, but that could have probably been an easy fix if I asked for more. I highly recommend hitting this spot up for a nice cold glass of wine and the world's best Caesar salad. If you do you may see me there and we can both ask the owners the meaning behind the name Parrots and see if we get different answers ;)

Met one of the owners CHRIS, seeing him engage with both the staff and patrons sealed the deal for me.

As we followed our greeter to our table I kept screaming in my mind "no no no no no not that table no!" and she sat us at a table in full blasting sun. Nevermind the fact that there was a whole shaded section in the back part of the patio area. The rest of my group said it was fine and a beam of sun slowly bore a hole through my chest. Drink orders were up. I ordered a fabulous cross between a Moscow Mule and a Mojito. A+++ for the drinks. Mine was loaded with fresh mint from their garden. Same grade for our waitress who explained the drinks in detail and ended with "ugh- are you sure you want to sit at this table straight in the sun?" The other two said it was fine. I was ready to move, but was out voted. She continued to check in regularly and brought extra water. Most items on the menu were hot. I considered the fish, but we all landed on appetizers and we would just bounce from place to place for bites and drinks. We ordered the charcuterie board and the lavender lemon whip with bread and cucumbers for the 3 of us. The charcuterie board was the large version and had minimal offerings. It wasn't full and pretty. It was little piles of each thing on a board. This one definitely wasn't making it into Better Homes and Gardens magazine. There was a little pile of mixed nuts, a little pile of lose green grapes, a little pile of lose red grapes - not all grapes pristine or large and none were on the vine. There were 3 little piles of cubed cheese and 2 types of sliced sausage and sliced pepperoni. There were 8 crackers that were wheat thin size. This matters because we had some onion jam on the board and a nice serving of mustard. There really wasn't anything to put them on except for the 8 little crackers. That part was weird. These weren't elevated offerings. I could have picked up any of these at Walmart. They were not elevated quality either. We also got a lavender lemon infused whip which was their answer to tzatziki sauce. It was excellent but again, we were given so much of the sauce without a bunch to put it on. The cucumbers were sliced lengthways and there was a lovely bread that tasted like sourdough. There was 6 pieces of bread, and these were not particularly large pieces. A lot more would have been needed to use all of the sauce they gave. The proportions were off. All together the bill was over $100 for the 3 drinks and appetizers. If I ever did go back I won't order food based on what I experienced. There are too many other great options within walking distance.

It's a coffee shop, a pizza joint, and a full-service bar all rolled into one effortlessly cool, swanky package. The interior design is a masterclass in versatility. Whether you're looking to camp out on a couch with and chat it out with friends, grab a high-top to do some serious damage to some menu offerings, or post up at the counter get a few extra key strokes on the old laptop -- cough so good you might they've got you covered. It's a rare spot where the "working/studying" crowd, the socialites, and the pure "grubbers" all coexist in perfect harmony. A quick heads-up on the logistics: there is a decent-sized parking lot in the back, but because it's a shared space with other businesses, weekend nights can turn into a bit of a high-stakes game of musical chairs. My advice? Get there early, or just be prepared to circle once or twice. The coffee and pastries are legitimately elite--so good that you might forget you're also sitting in a darn good pizza spot. I haven't personally tackled the pizza yet, but based on the intoxicating aromas drifting from neighboring tables and the sheer visual appeal of the pies I saw being partook in, it is officially next on my hit list. And if you're looking for something with a bit more of a kick than a fancy cup of joe, they appear to have pretty solid libations. I intended to take a few photos for the grid, but I was so hungry that my cardamom latte and slice of blueberry loaf vanished before I could even reach for my phone. That's probably the highest compliment I can give. Mother Handsome is a must-visit, and you can bet I'll be back--if only to finally get that pizza photo before I inhale it.

The drink menu is extensive and definitely warrants more than one visit to try all of the ones you want. Great place for a group or if you want some quiet space to yourself. Looking forward to my next time.

We entered through the back entrance and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. We quickly found a table for two, and our server was attentive from the start, bringing water right away, answering our questions, and walking us through the wine and beer selections. My wife ordered the Beet & Salmon Salad, while I chose the Crispy Chicken Club with white cheddar and house-smoked bacon. The sandwich was absolutely incredible--hands down the best crispy chicken club I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the combination of flavors was outstanding. I also stole a few bites of my wife's salad and was pleasantly surprised by the yellow beets. I'd only ever had red beets before, and both varieties were prepared beautifully. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the fresh ingredients. Between the excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service, this turned out to be one of the best impromptu dinner dates we've had in quite some time. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are already looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu. Highly Recommend!
