Not bad for a place in new port richey. Growing up here my whole life, not used to having good food near by but I was impressed and need to come back here to try more of their menu. The server was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about us trying many different options. Everything g we had was delicious. It was also adorable inside.

This was a cool little restaurant in Newport Ritchie. The menu was a little bit overwhelming, but we eventually settled on what we needed. Thanks to our great server, Dora. We didn't try the sushi, but I feel like that's what this place is known for. I ended up having the chicken tiki marsala and I ordered it hot, but it just didn't hit as spicy, but I do eat food rather hot. It was delicious though. It was a nice way to stop in on a very cold day and have a meal and some cocktails and enjoy some girl time.

Lunch had Zen was a disappointment at best. Yes we were a large group and yes, we may have been rushed. After all, we had a whole hour, but still the lack of friendly service was severely lacking. After the initial welcome, no one else smiled. The appetizer and the jasmine tea were quite good but the General Chicken had no flavor and the refried rice was dry. Terribly disappointed since looked forward to lunch all day.

This is our first visit to the newest iteration of Zen Garden. We love the new location. This level of restaurant "fit" the area it now inhabits. The food, service, and ambience is bold enough to fit in Miami, Ybor or even downtown Manhattan. It hums with cool. To start we had the Kimchi Mandu. Coulda doubled up and stayed there they are out of this world savory. The complexity of the taste radiates from the tongue, to the palate and finally runs around the brain. Wow. My companion had the Chicken Lo Mein. Simple, but delicious. I was a bit bolder and attempted to tackle the Bibimbap. I failed! It had individual piles of Bulgogi Beef, Banchan, Gochujang, and was anchored by a center of fried egg. Try as I might, this rich and luscious cornucopia of flavors was filling a wok dish and I had to carry a portion home to devour at a later date. The service was attentive, informative and timely. We will return to our tradition of event dining in the ZEN Kitchen & Bar. This is a strong "A" in all three areas of focus.

10 stars ! The service was amazing we had such a great server who took great care of our party ! The drinks were phenomenal Including their season drinks like an apple cider margarita , martinis were to die for ! Everything each person ordered was hot , correct , flavorful I truly enjoyed being able to get garlic mash with my meal , the dressing on the salad was the most amazing flavor ! We can not wait to return and try more off the large menu !

We were in town visiting my in-laws, and they brought us here for lunch. I loved it! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. It was a Sunday afternoon before St Patrick's day, so it wasn't too busy because many of the people were at the bars, which was nice for us! The decor is very beautiful in here, I love the floral going on. For food, I ordered the gulf shrimp lo mein, which also came with a zen roll. Delicious! The zen roll was a nice little appetizer and prepared you for the tasty meal you have in store. The shrimp in my lo mein were cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. And the lo mein, wonderful. If we lived here, this would be a regular meal. The service was also so nice! She made sure our drinks were full and our food came quickly. Everyone should try this place!

My favorite lunch spot! Our medical reps bring us here regularly. It's a favorite of the whole staff. Great service. Even better food. Their dinner menu is now served all day.

Super, all the way around. My Daughter's birthday dinner was here. The interior is very nice, almost Zen, I'd say. Our various Asian entrees were very good. Our server tended to our every needs. I really enjoyed the tall, skinny beer glass. It's rather expensive. Bring a fat wallet or have your credit card prepared for a big hit. We shall return.

We love the diverse flavors at Zen we are just a bit discerning with our service since we don't get out a lot. I'll start a list of preferred service pros soon, but after many visits we know the bar staff, chefs and live musicians are on it! Those folks are essential to this place and keep us coming back for more!

First time here and it did not disappoint! The blood orange margarita was new and it was so fresh and delicious. We got a couple sushi rolls as an appetizer, I think Spicy Tuna and Shrimp Tempura (no pictures because we inhaled them!). My entree was the Thai Coconut Curry with Tofu and that was some of the best tofu I ever had. A lot of Asian cuisine restaurants will fry their tofu so much that it smells but this tofu was lightly battered but still firm and had great flavor! Definitely will be back to try other items.

We came here with our Italian family who loved the Zen when it was on Rowan. They were not as impressed Saturday night, 9/23/23. We were more forgiving. This was their 4th night open to the public. They are revising their menu, keeping some of the tried and true menu items, and adding others. For example, my husband decided to try one of those items - the smash burger. It was good, but messy to eat with mayonnaise and steak sauce. It was too much liquid. Our waitress brought the missing fried onions when he mentioned that they were missing, but they were not hot. He liked the fries, and the house made catsup. I had the Crab Rangoon and Wonton soup - they were as good as I remembered. Our boys had the buttered chicken with the bread basket and raved about both. One finished it all. The other brought it home for lunch Sunday. This was a new menu item and a hit! The parents had the Shrimp Lo Mein. They were disappointed. One said it was too dry. Another complained about the size of the shrimp. I had a taste of one, and I was impressed. I thought it was good. Maybe it's their taste buds. Maybe it was their expectations. The place itself is beautiful. The lighting is soft and the music was relaxing. The bathroom was clean and well decorated. The older folks did not like the font or color of the menus. They could not read the small print, and the light ink on ivory backing. It was difficult for my old eyes, too, and I hope they use a larger font, & darker print. It will make ordering easier for old and young!

My favorite place to visit in all of Tampa Bay. I love the atmosphere. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is their middle name. And the food WOW. Never disappoints.

**Sunda -- Asian Fusion (2nd visit)**…read more Went back to Sunda specifically for their limited-time Caviar Sunday, and it did not disappoint -- but let's start with the food that came before it. We opened with the **tiger shrimp tempura** -- candied walnuts and a creamy honey aioli. Smaller than I expected, roughly half-dollar sized, but tender, sweet, and generous in portion. The candied walnuts and honey aioli combo leaned sweeter than a classic honey walnut shrimp, with a little bang bang shrimp energy minus the spice. Trying to pace ourselves for dessert, we kept the rest light: the signature crispy rice (Wagyu and spicy tuna versions, split two apiece), The Great White (escolar), and the lemongrass beef lollipops. The Great White was well-balanced and delicious. The lemongrass beef -- sliced NY strip wrapped around a lemongrass stalk with ginger soy -- was solid but not a standout; the lemongrass flavor was subtle and the chili barely registered. Fair warning: it comes out well past medium-rare since it's wrapped and cooked that way, and the server didn't ask for a temperature preference. Good, but not something I'd reorder. The crispy rice was tasty but not a personal favorite -- the Wagyu and spicy tuna toppings themselves were great, just not sold on the crispy rice base. The standout of the savory round was the lobster Wagyu roll -- lobster and Wagyu tataki with a duck pâté aioli, sort of a surf-and-turf sushi roll. Pricier than the other rolls, but the combination justified it. Definitely ordering that again. **Now, the main event: Caviar Sunday.** Our server mentioned this particular caviar brand is a favorite of a certain pop star's, which was a fun detail. The tower itself was a showpiece -- diced and quartered dragon fruit, lychee, blueberries, crispy rice balls (first time trying those, loved them), plus passionfruit and ube sauces on the side. It came with turon (Filipino plantain egg rolls) and vanilla ice cream, essentially a build-your-own sundae kit with caviar mixed in. Caviar with ice cream sounded strange going in, but the salt-sweet balance worked. Genuinely unique, and I'd order it again without hesitation. It's not cheap, but it's roughly half the price of their standalone caviar entrée for the same amount of caviar -- so relatively speaking, it's the smarter way to get it. Service was excellent throughout -- good pacing suggestions so we didn't over-order before dessert, and when we couldn't finish the tower, our server packed the leftovers carefully on ice so we could enjoy round two at home. My one regret: ordering a double espresso with dessert. Good on its own, but it clashed with the tropical, ice cream-heavy flavors -- that one's on me, not the kitchen. Sunda remains a place I'll keep coming back to.

For parking it was easy as there's a parking building and also it was free. Our server was Germaine, very nice, but the biggest challenge with our night is that he seemed very busy with a lot of tables so everything took forever from getting the menu, to our drinks, to taking our order etc. The place is beautiful, where we sat tables were very close and it looked like a setup for speedating you can hear the Side table conversation, but it didn't bother us, the ambience was very nice. We had: Shishito peppers: great very well made Sunda cones: very good, very small, which server did tells us. One of them the tuna tasted a bit fishy, but the other ones were very good Island maki: very good Lobster wagyu : awesome To drink: we asked for a custom made drink with mezcal and tajin on the rim, but we got a drink that was too spicy with spicy salt on the rim, without letting us know takin was not available and took forever to come. The overall experience was 4 stars but at the end we ordered dessert on time, and after waiting about 25 minutes our server and manager came to tell us that the chef had shut down and didn't see our order. They adjusted check accordingly and got us another dessert but it was way too many things happening already. I appreciate Jacob de manager who came to talk to us directly that was very professional, but definitely an opportunity to improve for next time. Dining out is an experience, and all details should come together to enhance the flavors in the palate, service, ambience and taste.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. My friend and I both ordered the Mangosteen noodles, and they were honestly some of the worst noodles I've ever had. They were overcooked, mushy, and clumped together into one sticky mass. The service was just as disappointing. We waited for long periods without anyone checking on our table. Our dirty plates sat on the table for a very long time, and eventually I gathered them myself and handed them to a staff member because no one came to clear them. Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, I wanted to order a dessert. Instead of simply taking the order, the server immediately focused on asking whether I was okay with the price, which felt unnecessary and awkward. At the end of the meal, we asked for the birthday guest's meal to be split among the rest of us. Unfortunately, that request was ignored, and the entire amount was added to my bill instead. The next day I called the restaurant to share my concerns. No one followed up with me as promised. On top of that, I noticed two separate charges on my credit card, so I called again and spoke with a manager. The response I received was extremely dismissive. I was simply told there was nothing they could do. I work in the hospitality industry myself, so I understand that mistakes can happen. However, what truly disappointed me was not just the food or the service it was the complete lack of concern for a guest's experience. I have rarely encountered such an indifferent attitude toward customer feedback. I wanted to share my experience so other guests know what to expect.

For entrees we ordered a 6piece spare ribs, the filet, a spicy tuna roll, and a side of fried rice (shareable). All the hot entrees also included white sticky rice (not the sushi roll). The ribs were falling off the bone, yet still crunchy to the bite. They were so delicioussssss. The filet came out on a hot plate, and the veggies and sauce under was delicious. The fried rice is customizable, in case you dont want something in the rice. And then for dessert we ordered the matcha dessert. Not overly sweet. And the raspberry sauce was the best part! The restaurant does have a quick service "streetfood" area outside. But that is separate from the dine in restaurant. You cannot order from their menu. You would have to go outside to grab those bites. Although I wish they could combine those options. The outside menu looked really good. Overall we had a great time.
