    Salt and pepper tofu

The salt and pepper tofu appetizer was delicious, the best I've ever tasted. Lots of vegetables, delicious spice, and fried tofu with tator tot crisp. We had red and panang curry as our entree. Both were well spiced and delicious. Lots of vegan options. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. The vibe is cozy with pop music, a bar you can eat at, and tvs showing delicious food.

Whenever I'm in the mood for Pad Thai this is my favorite place. I order to go regularly and they are always quick and taste is always amazing. The chicken Pad Thai was about $20 Togo but portion is pretty big! Spice level was a 2 but I'll probably try 3 next time even though the two was perfect!

Very solid place for Thai and Lao food in the Westchase area! The inside of the restaurant is decently big, with lots of space for a good sized party. I ordered food to go and they had in ready in about 20 minutes, which is excellent. I got the Khao Soi and definitely enjoyed the flavors. Love the mix of a curry based soup, with tender pieces of short rib, and the crunch of the fried egg noodles. The inclusion of the pickled vegetables helps to cut through the richness. I do wish the red onions were cut just a little smaller, but overall, still an excellent dish and a great restaurant that I will be coming back to :)

This place is awesome, my friend introduced me to it and when we hang out we normally come here for dinner. We get seated right away, food is out pretty fast, extremely nice workers , food is always good AND it's a great price! What more does a place need ??? 10/10

So happy to have tried this authentic family-owned sushi place! Super friendly and you can tell the owner and his family really care about their food & customers. Crispy tuna rice cakes as an app will never lead you wrong! The double impact roll was perfectly filling with delicious fresh seafood. Star of the show was the e crispy snapper in their homemade curry sauce -- I've never had anything like it and I would return for that dish alone!! Highly recommend!

An amazing experience here everytime! From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything is intentional and well done. Their sushi dishes are delicious and you can't go wrong trying any of the combinations they offer.

Just found my FAVORITE sushi spot in Westchase area.. maybe all of Tampa! OMG! the sushi was fantastic. I can be critical when it comes to sushi because it's literally my favorite food and I could eat it everyday. This place blew me away. Great sushi in Tampa Bay in general is hard to find so I was so excited to try this place because of the raving reviews. I am so glad I did because it was so delicious. The rice was pillowy soft and melted in your mouth. The fish was smooth like butter. The flavors all mixed so well. I devoured my rolls! I also got stir fry wide noodles with veggies, another delicious dish! Had plenty of leftovers the next day! I will be a regular for sure. Give this place a try if you haven't!!

Awesome sushi, just amazing food every time! So much flavor, but be careful the spice might catch up to you. They will ask, What level heat you prefer, between a 1-5! They treat me like family & remember my favorites, or suggest something just as good.

Constantly top quality food, presentation, and service. We were immediately treated as family here, even getting to meet and chat with the owner. He shared his passion for food with us, and was very proud of what did at the establishment. Don't let the simple layout of the place fool you, the food speaks for itself!

I regret... that I don't dine here more often. It's close to home, the food is delicious, and the service is fantastic. You cannot go wrong with whatever you choose from their menu. I'll be sure to make this a regular weeknight spot in 2025.

This restaurant has rapidly become one of our favorites. For so many reasons! Starts with a warm welcome, always! Everything on the menu can be customized. So the variation is endless. The food is both delicate and very delicious. Our goal to explore the entire menu. It's our mission. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem.

I've lived in this area for 7 years, I don't know how I haven't visited Rice & Spice until recently, but I've definitely been missing out. We've dined in and we've ordered out because we just can't get enough. We usually order the spicy tuna rice cakes (highly recommend - they're always 10/10 delicious), we usually mix it up and order a variety of different rolls as well - and we've NEVER had a roll we didn't like here. Everything is put together so well and the fish is always so fresh. The restaurant itself is very cute - it isn't a huge establishment, but it still fits plenty of people without feeling crowded or jam-packed inside. I want to highlight the service, because even though the food is a complete winner here - the service really sets Rice and Spice apart from every other "really good" sushi spot in the area. I've never had anything less than excellent service here. They are friendly and attentive and make you feel like you're a regular there even if it's your first visit. Rice and Spice is a must try, RUN don't walk :)

My wife is Thai, so we're very familiar with Southeast Asian food, and we both really enjoyed the intensity and authenticity of the dishes. The papaya salad was excellent -- very fresh with lots of crisp vegetables and perfectly balanced spice. The clear noodle salad was flavorful and spicy enough, just the way it should be. The ginger chicken was also very good, cooked perfectly and full of taste. You can really tell they care about keeping the flavors traditional. We will definitely come back!

We shared a papaya salad, chicken larb, and trio of meats (we chose Lao sausage, and Lao style beef jerky). The portions were big and more than enough for us to all be very satisfied. The papaya salad was fresh, acidic and savory and salty just like we like, accompanied by a ton of fresh vegetables and crispy pork skin bits (basically chicharrones) for texture. The chicken larb was full of fresh herbs and also served with ton of fresh vegetables to make little wraps or just eat on the side. The meats were all tasty, could've used a bigger portion of Lao sausage but the flavor was good, jerky was a bit chewy but also tasty, and the fish was fresh and creamy. Even though the exterior is unassuming and the place isn't fancy, inside feels like someone's home and that's reflected in the filling authentic food they serve. Whether you've had Lao food before or never seen it, Savanah of Laos is definitely worth a visit!

I narrowed down nearby options on my trusty Yelp app and we drove over to the strip mall that 3D Sushi is located in (although it has a different name now out front so there are two pages for this location). At any rate, the place was hopping on a Saturday night in December! It took a minute to be seated after we walked in, but once we sat down, we had plenty of attention. He went light enjoying his chicken noodle soup and I had miso soup; a very generous portion of veggie tempura; the cucumber wrapped "Ruby" sushi with a watermelon boba that is so incredibly delish! We even ended the evening with mango sticky rice -- even if it's not in season, it's a guest favorite and Staff makes sure to have the mangoes on hand. Boyfriend and I enjoyed getting to chat with Leilani who is super sweet and give our props to! We all have the west coast connection and we were eager to hear her story. Good luck to Leilani and the rest of the Staff on your business!

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.
