We have Visited Licious twice already and had great experiences both times. We have tried their House Special Tossed Pork Wontons, Soy Braised Duck, and Pan Fried Pork Buns for appetizers and all were delicious and will definitely order all of them again. For the main dishes, Sesame Sauce Noodles, Sichuan Style Beef Noodle Soup, Braised Ground Pork and Pork Chop Over Rice were the dishes we have ordered and they were all tasty and satisfying. The only slight drawback was the beef noodle soup. It was good but I've had better versions elsewhere. Overall, fast service, great food and affordable prices! We will definitely be back for another visit!

Added to our list of favorite Asian spots in town! Everything was made fresh to order and so delicious! Their soup dumplings had so much flavor and really enjoyed their beef noodle soup. Our server was super kind and even gave Labubu keychains to our kiddos. This is so close to our home that we definitely will support when we can. Would definitely recommend to try for the nice ambiance and great asian food!

After keeping an eye on the latest noodle shop, Licious, on Southside Blvd that recently opened, of course we had to try them out. So glad we decided to try the fried pork dumplings as a starter; they were delicious! We were surprised how stuffed they were with the pork stuffing; this was a meal in itself. Next came the Thai red coconut curry seafood noodles. I was expecting a small bowl of soup, but was pleasantly surprised how big the noodle bowls are, with lots of seafood and plenty of your choice of noodles. The second bowl was Sichuan beef noodle soup, another great choice. Great service with our enthusiastic server, Amy, who paid attention to detail. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed! One of the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Jacksonville. Prices are reasonable. Variety of choices: noodle soup, soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings and rice dishes. I had the braised pork rice bowl, crispy chicken cutlet and pan fried pork buns. All were delicious. If you order take out, they give you a cute reusable tote bag where the bottom is wide enough to pack bento boxes.

Checked out a new Chinese joint in town called Licious. I saw it on my feed and decided we should grab some lunch. We ordered about ten dishes, but let me share with you the highlights. Szechuan chicken - we ordered it extra hot. It was hot. It was great 9/10 Chili wontons - very mild, but would order again 7.6/10 Woodear mushrooms - absolutely delicious 9/10 Spicy soup dumpling - great taste when fresh 8.5/10 Chive pork shrimp dumplings - distinct chive flavor. Get again. 7/10 Shaved ice dessert - I mean how can you not liked shaved ice 9.5/10 Overall Licious is a nice addiction to Jacksonville. I will definitely go back and try some other dishes but there were several misses for us. Considering all plates range between $7-$12 it's affordable try many things. You've just got to find what you like. The Szechuan chicken was so delicious and the chili oil it came with coated everything we ate. It was spicy! Highly recommend. #eatjax #jacksonvillefood #chinese #szechuan

New spot, located in plaza, no issues finding parking. In for late lunch on Mother's Day. Good crowd but service was good. Amy greeted us with a smile and dropped of menus and took drink orders Items were tasty , hot and served timely. Started with some apps - the soup dumplings were very tasty. The noodle dishes were decent portions. You can order refill on the noodles but it's noodles only, no additional sauce or meats. Very clean and ample tables - good lighting Very authentic and the dumplings and potstickers had good flavor and lots of meat stuffing. Also cool to go containers, well made and seems as if they wouldn't leak.

Went to dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't busy at all, we were seated right away. We both ordered the Sesame Sauce noodles and shared the Shrimp and Chive dumplings, and both tasted great! Loved the handmade noodle texture. Good flavor and for a great price! The inside of the restaurant feels very elevated and luxurious, which you would not expect from the exterior of the building. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow first time at this newly opened dim sum spot on the Southside, and it was a hit for our family! We loved everything we ordered. The pork and shrimp dumplings were so tasty and juicy, and the soup had a nice little kick. My kids devoured the fried rice, and the dessert was delicious. The place is simple with a clean, pleasant ambiance, and our server was friendly and very attentive. Definitely adding this to my favorite dim sum places.

One of the finest Chinese restaurant in Jacksonville I must say. Me and wife went to this restaurant for our lunch date. I must say I had very minimal expectations as there are very less vegetarian options but I was blown away by the options that was created even if it was not on the menu. Our server went above and beyond to help us pick right dishes we both thoroughly enjoyed. For appetisers we had crispy fried tofu and scallion pancake which was nice and delicious. For entree my wife had the veggie dumplings and I had their veggie thin noodles which was mouth watering. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. Overall I highly recommend this place must try !!!

The restaurant was clean but had limited seating , The service and food were good, I liked the noodles with chicken. You can request free refills of noodles. They were busy in the afternoon, so we needed to remind them of our request for noodles.

I tried the new restaurant, Licious Noodles & Bao on Southside Blvd last week. Wow! Best regional-style Chinese food I've had in Jacksonville. The place was very clean (almost to the point of being sterile) with a sleek, modern vibe. The music sucked but the food was great! I had the pan fried pork buns and the Yibin spicy noodles. The buns were large and cooked to perfection with a huge, subtly seasoned pork meatball sealed within an impeccably executed bun. Crispy on the bottom, soft and succulently delicate on top, garnished with scallion slices and black sesame seeds. I like that they keep the traditional Chinese black vinegar on the table to go with these, too. The noodles were terrific I asked for them extra super spicy with lots of hot Szechuan peppercorn and they DID NOT mess around! Even the places I used to eat at in Manhattan would always wimp out in the spice department when a white boy like me would come in and ask for extra spicy but these guys made it absolutely on-point. The noodles were thin and very long and were cooked to perfection. The preparation was complex tasting and the noodles dressed just right. The service was great and my waitress was very kind, good natured, funny and polite. I used to have to go all the way to Gainesville to get decent Chinese food at Sohao Café but not anymore! I sincerely hope that Licious lasts in Jacksonville a good long time. P.S. - I just HAD to go back again before I left town. Got the hot & sour glass noodles and the spicy beef & tripe. Both incredibly good! (see pix)

We started with their Steamed Pork Dumplings, which we've never had before. I was expecting them to be like a basic shumai type of thing but they were very unique, in a good way. Very flavorful and we tore right through them. I had Pad Thai with pork for my protein. Their sauce has a touch of sweetness to it but it's not overbearing in any way. They give you a good amount of meat with your noodles too, so I feel like it's priced right for what you get. Lauren had the Thai Sweet & Sour, which she's had before but last time she didn't get any spice in it. This time out, she went with their medium spicy level and thought it added a whole dimension she didn't realize was missing last time. For those wondering about their spice level, she told me that she thought I could handle it which means it's not all that spicy. So maybe use that as a guide if you stop in and have a preference for hot or not. We think this was the third time we've stopped in here and we know we've liked it each time we've been. I'm glad we were over that way so it made it easy to stop by. This review originally appeared in the Jacksonville Fun, Eats & Drinks Facebook group

We found this little gem of a Thai restaurant near our hotel. The restaurant is located in a business area. It is small, but the service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with vegetable spring roll. These were crispy, full of veggies and noodles. The Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp, was flavorful and hot. We ordered the Thai sweet and sour chicken, full of veggies and pineapples. Well balance flavors of savory and sweetness. We also ordered the chicken eggplant, full of veggies in a light brown sauce. All served with jasmine rice. The only thing I would improved is the rice, it could be a little firmer for my taste. We left satisfied by a delicious meal in a small shopping center, surrounded by a Starbucks, and a Whataburger. When in Jax this little gem is a must.

There are stairs, but if you walk straight through to the host/hostess stand at Dorothy's, there is a small elevator available. The décor was nice and there was a decent amount of seating available, enough to accommodate our group of 10 and another large group at the table next to ours. It looked like people came here with their families for special occasions. There was only one person working to cover everything from seating, take out, serving, etc., and he did an amazing job of staying on top of everything. He even took the time to explain to me that they recently decided to make their entire menu (save for the fried items) gluten free due to many requests they'd received from their customers. It was so nice to eat at a place that was so considerate! Their menu is definitely more fusion than authentic. I asked the server for a recommendation and he told me his favorite is the Curry Fried Rice, but it was a big portion, so I opted for his second favorite, the Drunken Noodles. I asked about the spice levels and asked for mine to be more spicy. It wasn't as spicy as I hoped, so I asked for a spice tray and added several spoonfuls of various chili flakes and peppers. My colleagues got the yellow curry and said it was basically flavorless, but they liked their Drunken Noodles. I'm thankful to have the gluten free option, but I was missing the essence of the classic/authentic flavor. Overall, the décor, ambience, and service was great, but the food was just okay.
