Loved the atmosphere, a little less of the in your face Naruto theme and more just Japanese/korean decor which is different from the one I've been to in Spanaway/Tacoma. The people were pleasant and the place was well kept. I absolutely fell in LOVE with my firecracker sushi burrito. I wish I could explain how perfectly the crunch of the outside was. This was my first time trying a sushi burrito. I was really excited. The decor is really neat inside. Good amount of seating inside and a few 2 person tables outside. Street parking. You order your food, get a number and find your own table. They have a variety of bottled and canned drinks including Japanese beer and sake. We order the pop rock shrimp as an appetizer. GET IT! it is so gooood! My husband ordered the California burrito and I ordered the firecracker burrito. I really liked the texture of mine as it was deep fried. I do wish there was a little bit more seared tuna inside. The description said it was supposed to be spicy tuna but I didn't find it spicy at all. The burritos did come with two dipping sauces, which was nice. My husband thought his was OK but wouldn't get it again. I'd like to go back and try the ramen. And I will get the shrimp again!! I always get the Washington sushi burrito and I don't think I've had a better invention. It's always nice in there, the food tastes fresh, and the staff is kind. Only docking a point because the music is usually really loud! I go with my friend and he and I usually can't hear one another lol. Not a big issue, just a minor complaint. Took my food to go and it was not the same as dining in. The food was still good and fresh. The serving was excellent and welcoming. The facility was busy and very similar to Tacoma's site. There seemed to be more seating and outside seating, whereas you cannot sit outside or want to at the Tacoma location. It was off the beaten path, tucked away and still very busy. Side street location which made it easier to park, but across the street parking and street parking was limited. I will guarantee return but plan to dine-in which is wonderful compared to crossing the bridge. read more

My husband and I have visited this place twice now. We ordered it to go. The sushi burritos were incredibly delicious and huge! We also had a salmon poke bowl, which was made with fresh fish. The ramen itself is so much better than three-minute-ramen it is shocking. The "soup" it is floating in, however, is watered down soysauce and seemingly nothing else. It tastes little better than dirty dishwater. They need to come up with a better vegetarian soup; I'd recommend either miso paste and kombu seaweed, or cabbage and leek broth. If they'd come up with a vegetarian broth that actually tastes like something, this could be one my favorite places to eat. The noodles with all the side ingredients are great if only they weren't floated in tepid dishwater. The place feels more authentically a Japanese noodle shop than one expects outside of Japan. I also appreciate they have a vegetarian poke missing from other places' poke menus; and several other cool vegetarian options. By avoiding the dishwater sauce completely and getting the ramen with no soup on it, it becomes an excellent meal, and only medium-expensive given today's prices everywhere, and big helpings. read more

The ramen broth was VERY rich, and they don't skim on the meat portions for the chashu ramen! Honestly, could've been more spicy, but it was still very delicious! The takoyaki was great too, and the shrimp was tasty as well! The pork gyoza was alright, not my favorite, but then again, it's not my favorite appetizer in general. We stopped in here on a whim as we passed through Bremerton. I had one of the spicy tonkatsu ramen, others tried the veggie (fried tofu) shoyu ramen, and one of the burritos, as well as plates of steamed and fried gyoza. 100% The ramen here was excellent. I can't speak to their other offerings because I have only been there once. But what really stands out is the staff - it is so apparent that they love what they are doing and they want to make you feel welcome and at home.
