    Hamachi nigiri.

We were mid-camping trip and not in the mood to cook on a rainy Poulsbo evening, so we headed over to this sweet little spot just outside of downtown. It was the perfect location for me (in a sushi mood) and the Dude (in a teriyaki mood), as we both got what we wanted and it was all fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed my miso soup, Poulsbo Roll, and hamachi nigiri. Dude loved his pork teriyaki bento. What put this place over the top was the incredible and friendly service! Highly recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for a delish (and surprisingly affordable) meal just outside of the tourist zone.

Ordered the Sesame chicken with rice! Had great flavor and the chicken was very crispy. Service was very hasty and the food came pretty quickly. Really nice environment inside the restaurant, many booths, and a sushi bar. Would definitely recommend the Sesame chicken, it was excel

Nice, real Japanese sushi place. Generous portions, super cute tableware - seriously, where did they get this stuff - probably had to have someone buy it on Japan and send it here. Feels nostalgic, Everyone is call-greeted when they walk through the door. I only had salmon and unagi, with miso soup and seaweed salad. The miso was only onions and a few pieces of tofu, but it was hot and served in a large cute mug - perfect!

The Gaga roll, really tasty but $20

Service was good, decent little place plenty of seating with tables and booths and outdoor w/ heaters. We both had lunch combo specials, teriyaki chicken one w/teriyaki pork the other w/ chicken katsu, each $16.50 comes with salad and scoop of rice in bento box. Also ordered one sushi roll, the Gaga $19!! The roll was fresh and very tasty, worth $19 not sure. Our bentos had ample meats but felt they were bland, doubt they were marinaded or even seasoned before cooking, even asking for more teriyaki sauce barely helped, odd. The salad dressing so watery it didn't stick to the greens. Just wasn't impressed overall for a $70 meal w/ tip. Disappointed as our only meal of the day visiting Poulsbo.

Came here for a light dinner since we had been eating non stop most of the day. We ordered the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. Very good ! The restaurant is nothing fancy but the service is very good. They offer a number of choices here from Korean, Japanese and Chinese options. Their sushi was pretty good.

Service is good, the waiters are all very friendly. Food is solid, though nothing spectacular and on the pricey side. We ordered: +Yummy Yummy roll with Scallops (4/5 stars, $18) - the tempura inside is hot and crispy, which is unusual for rolls and a pleasant surprise. +Orange blossom (3.5/5 stars, $19) - lots of marinaded salmon atop salmon & avocado roll. The salmon didn't have much taste, neither fishy nor fatty, very plain. +Chicken Katsu Don with Curry $15.99 - comes with fried rice! Pretry basic curry (think made from those Japanese curry cubes), decent katsu. Portion is big, very filling. +Edemame - we always order it cuz it's my toddler's favorite. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 3, as they were busy during Friday dinner time. Overall, we had a good dining experience.

Great sushi spot, always tastes fresh. Service is quick. Their bento boxes are also a solid choice.

I ALWAYS get their Chicken Pad Thai. Love it. Also I think it's the best sushi place in all of Poulsbo and Kingston.

I expected more since there were plenty of good reviews, but I think we should've spent some more time searching. For context, we wanted a good sushi dinner - willing to spend a little more on special rolls, etc. I would maybe consider this spot again if you were to just come for some appetizers or regular rolls, but don't come here expecting phenomenal sushi. We got the pork belly lettuce wraps and the sweet coconut shrimp. The lettuce wraps were a highlight/our favorite and honestly I would come back for just these. The coconut shrimp was OK, but not anything to write home about. For sushi, we got the Black Widow and X-File special rolls, the chu-toro sashimi, and one yamagobo maki. The most expensive part, the chu-toro, was not as good as I'd expect it to be for the price point. I've had much better (cheaper) toro so this was the biggest let-down. The special rolls were good, but again, not great. I definitely favored the Black Widow roll, as the soft-shell crab was very yummy. Service was also lacking a bit. It was not busy but our waiter wasn't super attentive. Waters sat empty for a while at one point, and in general it just took a while in between visits.

Definitely worth a try! I ordered the karaage chicken bowl. There was a lot of chicken pieces and a heavy serving of "egg fried rice" underneath. Very filling, and very delicious. The chicken is fried, and it comes with green onion which breaks up the creamy richness from the egg and fried chicken flavors. It was so much food, I had leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The entrees come with miso soup before the meal arrives at your table, so we were happy with the fried chicken skin appetizer and miso soup starter, then to finish it off with our entrees. Everything tasted good, hot and fresh. The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. It's located in a shopping strip next to a gas station. It's a great spot for a hearty, quick bite to eat.

This looked like the closest thing to authentic chinese I would be able to find so I tried it out one afternoon while Christmas shopping. When walking in you will notice that this restaurant is HUGE. Like the Summer Palace huge! There are several rooms filled with benches and booths. I cannot imagine it ever really being filled. I in fact was the only person on this particular day in the entire room by myself (which sat around 50 guests). There was another table in another room all by themselves as well. The decor was...lets say interesting for Poulsbo. It was kind of like a cleaner version of the Forbidden City and I think many guests would enjoy. The menu had several dishes I thought looked tasty but I couldn't find the traditional chinese dishes I had hoped for. I asked the waiter if they had anything like Dan Dan Mien and he just said, no without any other recommendations. I ended up ordering the spicy pork noodles and pan fried buns. This was a lot of food but I didn't mind taking some home. The pan fried buns were filled with pork. They seemed to have been steamed and then pan fried on one side. They were really delightful as the frying gave them a different texture then I am accustomed to with Baotzi. This dish gets a 5/5 in my book. The dipping sauce that came with was also a nice accompaniment. The spicy pork noodles were sort of like a Chau Mien. They were a little spicy but not overboard. If the waiter would have checked on me I would have asked for some Sriracha or chili paste to help kick up the spice in these a bit. Overall they were still tasty, just a bit oily. I ended up taking about 3/4 of this dish home as I was stuffed and they were nice reheated the next day too. All in all the food was good and I would eat again. It was a bit pricy for what you get and the service was definitely lacking (I only saw my server twice, once to take my order and the second time to bring it. The rest of the time I sat by myself in that big vast room), but I'd come back because it seems to be the best chinese you can get in Poulsbo.

A total disappointment and NOT as represented. I should have asked for a refund on the Seafood. I will probably order from them again, but will stick to the more basic menu items.
