I bought a Groupon for a gel mani/pedi and these were my outcome. Some bomb looking rockstar nails, right?! She applied a neutral bottom coat, then a few coats of a pinkish color, then a layer of sparkle to punch it up, and finally placed small metallic studs to finish the look. ALL of this was customized at my request as she applied my manicure. Nana was such a trooper, we just kept collectively creating my manicure as we went along and it came out amazing. No joke, I've had strangers stop me in public to look at my nails! The pedi could have been a little better, no real massage to speak of and the polish on my top left big toe doesn't go all the way to the edge. But overall I'm satisfied!! POI: The additions to my mani cost me an extra $30 on top of the Groupon. It was worth it for me, but def ask her before you start adding customizations.

Kimmie called to ask if she could move my appointment for fingers and toes to her sister Tracy because she wanted to take the day of our appointment off. I said sure; I had read wonderful reviews for Tracy so no problem and was told to come at the same time I had booked previously with Kimmie. Unfortunately, something came up, so I called to adjust the times for my appointment but was told that Tracy would not be available. Even though it was inconvenient, I agreed to just leave my appointment for the time I had originally been booked; but, I was told that Tracy would not be available to do my nails. When I reminded them that the appointment had already been scheduled in order to cover for her sister, I was told that Tracy was not accepting new clients. I reiterated that I'm not interested in becoming Tracy's client, that she was only covering my scheduled appointment with her sister. Despite repeated conversations with the receptionist and with Kimmie, the appointment with Tracy was not honored because "Tracy is trying to direct new clients to the other technicians." I reminded them that I am not a new client, that I was not interested in Tracy performing my services on an ongoing basis, and that I was a regular client coming in every two weeks, my appointment was not honored. Bottom line is, I will not be returning there for services and if you're looking for someone to provide regular services and honor repeat customers, you should probably think again. You should also know that I have never written a review like this previously. I am not one of those folks who can never be pleased. I was very pleased with Kimmie and with the services she was providing until this blatant attempt to manipulate me into seeing a technician who had no reviews. I agreed to move my appointment for Kimmy's convenience and was totally sabotaged by her sister who refused services to a regular customer with her blatant attempts to manipulate me into seeing the technician she chose rather than the service provider I chose. Sorry, Kimmie, your sister has a lot to learn about customer service for those who have been loyal to your salon.

Once she started massaging my legs i asked "can you go softer on my massage my legs are really sore" i guess the girl didn't speak English because another women asked me to repeat what i said. It was not a large space. Only tiny cups of plain water were offered and other than outside near the elevator were the only sitting places except for one chair in the check in area. The massage room was very nice and the massage table comfortable and heated. I expected more from a place that charges $200 for a massage. Just my opinion. No need to go early, there's nothing to start to unwind or get ready.
